Intra-industry diversification effects under firm-specific contingencies on the demand side

How do firm-specific, demand-related factors influence the relationship between intra-industry diversification (IID) and performance? Recent findings regarding the performance effects of IID depict a complex picture with curvilinear relationships and several contingencies. However, firm-specific contingencies on the demand side have remained unexplored. We analyze how IID relates to firm performance (market share) in the German automotive industry using panel data between 1999 and 2008. We specifically focus on a firm's high-quality brand image as a demand-side contingency. We find support for our hypotheses of complex curvilinear relationships as well as for moderating effects of brand quality. Our results have significant theoretical implications for the IID literature.

巴赫金从中世纪民间狂欢节入手抽象出具有对话性、双重性和超越性的“狂欢式”生活的特征,并进一步在文学分析中提 炼出“狂欢化”的概念。根据他的狂欢理论,游戏的儿童具有狂欢的品格,儿童游戏精神的缺失导源于人类狂欢精神的陨落。 狂欢理论对学前教育的启示：对话性的亲昵应当是师幼关系的应然状态;狂欢的超越性为理解儿童的“反常”行为提供了新视 角;狂欢主体的沉浸式参与启发了教师主体精神的回血路径;“狂欢式”生活的“生活游戏化”本质有助于我们理解“课程游戏 化”和“游戏课程化”两者的包容和统一关系。     

社会共生秩序的构建与更新

针对城乡地域共生状态发生的蜕变与更迭,通过对共生理念概念的解析,研究新时代社会共生秩序的构建策略。研究认为,共生秩序构建中存在社会认同有待加强、价值动力有待提升、公共供给阶层性差异矛盾需要缓解等挑战; 构建和创新共生秩序,需要保持人情秩序、法治秩序的现代化适应与更新,推动人情秩序向制度规范领域发展,利用法律形式的正义确定社会群体的权利关系,以适当性、必要性、均衡性原则所构成的位阶秩序来引导社会共生秩序建构,位阶秩序全链接、多价标的流程成为适应新时代社会秩序良性发展、人与自然和谐共生的秩序新构造。     

Asian Women,Job Training and the Social Organization of Immigrant Labor Markets

This paper examines the entry of Asian immigrant women into a gendered labor market via government-funded job training programs. The focus is on the intake processing of clients into an employment training program operated by a community based organization. The study reveals that women's family responsibilities and the cultural capital they bring function to screen them into or out of training programs and ultimately shape their location in the workforce. The study thus draws attention to how race, class, and gender enter into the organization of Asian immigrant women into the labor market. This investigation is based in institutional ethnography (Smith 1987), a research strategy which displays how activities in a particular setting are coordinated with more extended forms of social organization. The study shows that the overriding concern with successful placement in a job as mandated by government regulations is a critical factor in selecting the women for these programs.     

Contextualizing the Employment Decisions of New Mothers

This paper suggests that the employment behavior and stated preferences of new mothers are not simply a product of choices that individual women make or characteristics that they have. Rather, using qualitative interview data from a sample of new parents, this paper illustrates some of the interactional and institutional contexts in which new mothers' approaches to paid work are embedded, with a particular focus on gender. Among the themes explored are the influence of husbands' preferences on women's decisions, the role of economic processes in structuring parenting arrangements, as well as the prominence of gendered cultural imagery in new parents' accounts about their work and family arrangements.     

会议外交与中国参与全球卫生治理的思考

在全球卫生领域以大型会议为代表的国际会议外交已成为全球卫生治理的一种重要形式和载体。文章梳理了全球卫生治理中会议外交的两方面体现,一是以国际会议为代表的会议外交与全球卫生治理,二是以国家行为体为代表的会议外交与全球卫生治理,并进一步归纳了会议外交促成的全球卫生治理进程,包括多次会议促成了全球卫生安全的国际规则《国际卫生条例》,以及历经多年会议磋商促成了全球人口覆盖范围广的《烟草控制框架公约》。中共的十九大报告中对外交工作和健康中国战略有了明确表述,由此需要卫生与外交工作者审时度势、认清角色,通过会议外交表明态度,并以全球卫生会议外交为起点,促进国内立法接续。     

哈萨克斯坦的宗教现状与宗教政策

独立后,哈萨克斯坦国的宗教状况和政教关系发生了诸多变化,宗教地位在民众社会生活中不断上升,传统宗教(伊斯兰教和东正教)与非传统宗教之间的竞争加大,伊斯兰极端主义对国家安全的破坏日益明显。《宗教活动与宗教团体法》(2011)的出台为规范宗教活动、遏制某些宗教的极端化奠定了基础。宗教政策经历了从宽松到趋紧的过程,族际和睦与宗教和谐政策的政教关系已初步形成,宗教状况的发展趋势将会受到多种因素的影响。     

中国单身女性的困境: 多元交叉的社会压力和歧视

随着中国单身人口比例的上升,单身人群特别是单身女性群体受到了社会各个层面的关注。目前国内对单身女性的研究主要通过深度访谈来探讨单身未婚女性的身心和生活状态,缺乏系统的理论观照,且访谈样本又大都局限于大城市的中产阶层单身未婚女性,因而限制了研究成果的代表性。从交叉性理论出发,分析中国单身女性面临的宏观(儒家文化和人口调控压力)、中观(媒体的形象控制和代际压力)和微观(性别歧视、年龄歧视和单身歧视)的多元交叉压力和歧视,厘清目前单身女性所受到的压力和歧视,从不同阶层单身女性的需求出发,才能为她们提供切实有效的帮助,并有助于解决目前我国单身人口比例上升的问题,缓解人口老龄化的压力。     

Gender‐Sensitive Research in a Chinese Community

The aim of this article is to foster an awareness of the need for gender‐sensitive research in the context of the methodological and ethical challenges posed by such research. We trace the development of gender sensitivity and masculinity in social work practice and research and connect this to an overview of the issues posed by research on sensitive topics. Reflecting on a research project involving Chinese male sexual abuse survivors, we draw conclusions illustrating and proposing a range of methodological practices and ethical safeguards. We underscore the importance of gender‐sensitivity in performing research on sensitive topics with men in a Chinese community.     

顶岗支教实习中的师生和谐关系研究

顶岗支教实习是高校实习改革的一个积极探索,而高师生在实习中建立的师生关系是否和谐直接关系到中小学学生的心理健康和全面发展、关系到教育实习的效果、关系到顶岗支教实习方式的延续。目前顶岗支教实习中所建立的师生关系不容乐观,而和谐师生关系的建构不但需要社会、高校、中小学校、学生的支持和配合,更重要的是高师生要更新教师观念,不断提升自身素质,用爱、理解和尊重来构建和谐融洽的师生关系。
