北泉议礼及其成果——《中华民国礼制》

文章论述分析了其制定背景、过程及其主要内容,剖析了其进步性和局限性。在当时社会、政治活动需要及政要人物推动下,在《礼制草案》的基础上,经过礼制谈话会和北泉议礼,制定了《中华民国礼制》。由于当时种种原因的影响,该礼制不可避免存在一定的局限性,如有迷信、繁琐、不合时宜的弊端,等级思想严重等。但是其进步性也是不容忽视的,其内容对礼仪名目、仪节进行了简化,具有一定的创新性,吸收了西方的礼仪,呈现与国际接轨的趋向,具有较强的系统性、条理性。     

反腐倡廉必须健全和完善我国的法律监督体系

腐败正在渗入各国的政治、经济文化生活的各个领域 ,日益成为社会改革的阻碍和腐化剂。我国的反腐败斗争取得了一系列成果 ,但是同时也在斗争中反映出了一个突出的问题 :我国的法律监督体系还存在着缺陷和漏洞 ,还不能很好地适应社会主义市场经济条件下的反腐败斗争。健全和完善法律监督体系已成为建设社会主义法治国家的一项重要使命     

国家公务员立法的缺陷与完善

我国的国家公务员立法起步较晚,其所确定的国家公务员制度继承了新中国干部人事制度的某些内容,而不是对过去干部人事制度的全面否定,在科学管理国家公务员以及推进政治体制改革方面起到了积极的作用.但是,我国的国家公务员立法也存在着不足,主要表现在立法形式低下,体系不完善.对此,需要进一步完善,加强国家公务员的立法.

Tagged Probe Interval Graphs

A generalization of interval graph is introduced for cosmid contig mapping of DNA. A graph is a tagged probe interval graph if its vertex set can be partitioned into two subsets of probes and nonprobes, and a closed interval can be assigned to each vertex such that two vertices are adjacent if and only if at least one of them is a probe and one end of its corresponding interval is contained in the interval corresponding to the other vertex. We show that tagged probe interval graphs are weakly triangulated graphs, hence are perfect graphs. For a tagged probe interval graph with a given partition, we give a chordal completion that is consistent to any interval completions with respect to the same vertex partition.

对教育质量内涵的揭示直接影响到教育质量衡量标准的确定。国内外许多学者对教育质量的涵义有不同的理解和认识。笔者认为教育质量是教育满足个体和社会显现的和浅在教育需要能力的特性。由此以教育对个人和社会的教育需要满足程度来确定衡量教育质量的标准 ,应为 :1 教育过程是否体现了师生间和谐的互动关系 ,教育活动是否成为学生自由的、自我创造的活动 ;2 学生全面素质的和谐发展 ;3、教育培养的各级各类人才在数量、质量、结构等方面是否符合当前社会物质文明和精神文明建设的要求。     

An EWMA chart for monitoring process mean

In the statistical process control literature, there exists several improved quality control charts based on cost-effective sampling schemes, including the ranked set sampling (RSS) and median RSS (MRSS). A generalized cost-effective RSS scheme has been recently introduced for efficiently estimating the population mean, namely varied L RSS (VLRSS). In this article, we propose a new exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) control chart for monitoring the process mean using VLRSS, named the EWMA-VLRSS chart, under both perfect and imperfect rankings. The EWMA-VLRSS chart encompasses the existing EWMA charts based on RSS and MRSS (named the EWMA-RSS and EWMA-MRSS charts). We use extensive Monte Carlo simulations to compute the run length characteristics of the EWMA-VLRSS chart. The proposed chart is then compared with the existing EWMA charts. It is found that, with either perfect or imperfect rankings, the EWMA-VLRSS chart is more sensitive than the EWMA-RSS and EWMA-MRSS charts in detecting small to large shifts in the process mean. A real dataset is also used to explain the working of the EWMA-VLRSS chart.     

Bayesian locally optimal design of knockout tournaments

The elimination or knockout format is one of the most common designs for pairing competitors in tournaments and leagues. In each round of a knockout tournament, the losers are eliminated while the winners advance to the next round. Typically, the goal of such a design is to identify the overall best player. Using a common probability model for expressing relative player strengths, we develop an adaptive approach to pairing players each round in which the probability that the best player advances to the next round is maximized. We evaluate our method using simulated game outcomes under several data-generating mechanisms, and compare it to random pairings, to the standard knockout format, and to two variants of the standard format.

英语动词有没有"体"这个语法范畴?如果有,又和"时态"关系如何?这是一个长期以来一直备受探讨和争论的问题。首先是试图参照B.Comrie的见解,基于"内部和外部视点"的理论,认为时态是指示性的,是说话者从外部捕捉事情发生的时间;而体则是窥视到了事情发生时间的内部,了解事情的发生呈现着怎样的状况,等等。因此,观察时态和体两者的立脚点有所不同,也就有必要设定"体"这个语法范畴。在这个前提下,对历史上各家有关的理论作了探讨,认为目前有不少人提出的"两时两体"系统是良好的,但也发现这"两时两体"系统存在着一定的学术"漏洞",因而提出英语动词应当分析为具有三个"体"(零位体、完成体、进行体)和两种时态(现在时、过去时),以弥补"两时两体"系统的若干不足。
