阐述了住房公积金住的现实意义,结合连云港市住房公积金管理中心的运作实际,从网络技术应用、加强受托银行网点建设、强化监管等七个方面探讨了做好住房公积金风险防范、促进住房公积金事业健康发展的措施。     

Motivators and Barriers to Participation of Ethnic Minority Families in a Family-Based HIV Prevention Program

Summary

Involving low-income, ethnic minority families in lengthy HIV prevention programs can be challenging. Understanding the motivators and barriers to involvement may help researchers and practitioners design programs that can be used by populations most at risk for HIV exposure. The present study discusses motivators and barriers to involvement in the Collaborative HIV Prevention and Adolescent Mental Health Project (CHAMP), using data from a sample of 118 families that participated at varying levels in the twelve sessions of the program. Most participants chose motivators that reflect their perceptions of individual and/or family needs (“CHAMP might help me, mine, and other families”), and of characteristics of the program, such as CHAMP staff were friendly, CHAMP was fun. Among barriers to involvement, respondents expressed concerns about confidentiality, and about being judged by program staff. Respondents also reported experiencing many stressful events in their families (e.g., death and violence in the family) that may have been barriers to their involvement. Knowing these motivators and barriers, researchers and practitioners can enhance involvement in HIV prevention programs.     

The GIG

SUMMARY

The GIG¹ is an innovative community based intervention which offers education regarding pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection (STI) risks and prevention in the context of a social event that is open to the adolescent community. This intensive, six hour intervention features live and recorded music, celebrities from local radio stations, raffles and prizes, and a number of educational activities providing instruction regarding pregnancy and STI risks and prevention. A total of 609 Latino adolescents completed matched pre and posttest measures. The increase in the total mean score from pretest to posttest was found to be statistically significant, as were the separate analyses for items related to pregnancy and those related to STIs. Information regarding specific attitudes and areas of knowledge are provided. Important intervention components related to the research literature are discussed along with areas of success, especially with regard to risk factors, and those in need of further attention in future intervention events. Recommendations for reinforcing and enhancing the GIG messages are presented along with implications of the findings for social work and health care professionals responsible for designing interventions for at-risk youth.

目前关于高楼抛掷物伤人的责任承担问题争论不休,本文结合贝勒斯提出的侵权法的补偿、惩罚与预防的三个目的来观察高楼抛掷物伤人的连带责任,看这连带责任实现了其中的哪些目的,并对连带责任的合理性进行论证,也通过对连带责任实现某些目的分析,发现如何才能调整连带责任的内部分配从而更利于相应目的的实现,希望以上分析对今后对高楼抛掷物伤人的连带责任的立法有所启示。

戈麦是新时期以来自杀的青年诗人之一。理想与现实的剧烈冲突,是戈麦走向自杀的主要动力;与“现实”的疏离使他成为一个“厌世者”,他生活在语言的乌托邦之中,颠倒了现实与梦幻的关系,孤独、焦虑、幻想、封闭成为其精神状态;他的内心深处具有一种浓郁的死亡意识,死亡对他来说成了一种挡不住的诱惑,成为他获得“新生”的唯一途径。     

Methodological strategies for evaluating youth gang prevention programs

This article reflects on common challenges and lessons learned during the evaluation of gang prevention programs based on case studies of three federally funded Canadian programs. Elements of evaluation design, implementation, data analysis and reporting of results are discussed. More specifically, the article highlights issues that occur when evaluating community projects focused on preventing extreme risks for violence and the complexity of working in potentially dangerous and/or unstable work environments. Topics covered include the problem with quasi-experimental designs, model fidelity adherence, program documentation, client recruitment and retention, and data collection. Recommendations are provided to improve evaluations of youth gang prevention programs and similar community-based interventions that focus on the prevention of youth violence.
