Sawu bona = I’m aware of you. Playback Theatre as a supporting method for consulting processesPlayback Theatre is an interactive improvisational theatre. People from the audience tell their stories, their thoughts and ideas and the actors perform them immediately, playing back a fresh image of the story for the teller. The processes in Playback Theatre and organisational consultancy are comparable: Similar stages include listening, respecting, giving back and integrating. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator — a useful tool for coaching and career counseling to identify clients giftsFor career counseling and coaching procedures the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator has proved a sound and well-designed instrument. As such it is a useful and effective tool which allows me to assess and analyze a client’s position. The four categories of personality styles yield a broad spectrum of insights and are subtly differentiating. The premises of the MBTI are the uniqueness of the individual and the respect for individual differences. Focussing on this premises and based on concepts originated by C.G. Jung this indicator establishes categories of cognitive functions. These will enable a client to gain a better perception of herself or himself and enhance her or his understanding of others. It is necessary, however, to embed the results of the indicator into a context of counseling goals, and for the benefit of a client solid counseling skills of the coach are essential. Provides these conditions, the indicator will support a client’s professional and personal development and can be used to demonstrate issues of work coordination and cooperation. Especially disputes become more matter of fact. The non-judgemental language of the Jungian concepts allows self esteem to grow and de-escalates conflicts. Evaluation of executive coaching — an inquiry of coaches and clientsThe variables, the effects and the connection between variables and effects of executive coaching are examined in a questionnaire study with coaches and clients. The results show that executive coaching represents an effective intervention that positively affects both the client’s self-reflection and his/her behaviour. The client’s willingness to change and his/her intensity of suffering prove to be good predictors of success in achieving the desired effects. From the coach’s perspective these factors include the intelligibility of the coaching concept and a participative procedure. Additionally, the influence of the relationship on the coaching results is identified, resembling findings in psychotherapy research. Coach and client tend to agree with regard to their perception of the coaching process.  相似文献

What aspects of the relationships of young adult siblings are related to closeness or distance? This study takes a process approach to answering this question, contrasting it with the status approach of family structure variables. Close and distant sibling pairs were compared on physiological variables and specific aspects of warmth, con-flict, and power during two conversations - one on enjoyable topics and one on topics of disagreement. While there was no evidence that sibling closeness was related to family structure variables, differences in closeness were found in affective patterns and physiological responses during sibling interaction. Interaction between close sib-lings was characterized not only by higher positive affect but also by fewer power struggles and lower heart rate reactivity. Close siblings also had higher scores on emotional empathy and cognitive aspects of empathy such as perspective-taking than distant siblings. The developmental importance of considering power struggles in young adult sibling relationships was also discussed.  相似文献

Taking a cue from recent works that assert the importance of affect in politics and critical theory, this paper examines affective strategies employed at Yūshūkan, a war museum attached to the controversial Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo. Although its revisionist historiography has been generally discredited by historians, over the last decade Yūshūkan has established itself as a key public site for neo-nationalist war memory in Japan. This paper argues that to understand Yūshūkan's appeal we need to address the affective economy it produces around the stories and images of the fallen soldiers. In particular, I analyse the image of kamikaze as a ‘sticky object of emotion’ and ‘somatic marker’ that is both emotionally charged and culturally mobilized. I examine several factors that contribute to its affective capacity: the culturally specific trope of the tragic hero and the aesthetics of self-sacrifice; an emphasis on their ‘ordinariness’ as fathers and sons; and the naturalized, almost moral expectation of the current generations' indebtedness and gratitude to the war dead. A close reading of the museum exhibits, catalogue, website and visitor books suggests that Yūshūkan's rhetorical force relies on the kamikaze icon's ability to arouse visceral and intense emotions. Produced at the intersection of affect and discourse, history and memory, kamikaze is a heavily loaded sign central to Yūshūkan's affective and sub-discursive mode of communication. By illustrating how Yūshūkan mobilizes subjects into its patriotic history and identity via emotional authenticity, I hope to add an alternative approach to the current scholarship that predominantly focuses on the discursive content of Yūshūkan's historiography or religious-spiritual function of mourning. More generally it is also hoped that this study will contribute to thinking through the role of affect in collective war memory by offering a culturally and historically specific case study.  相似文献

目的 探讨大学生宿舍氛围的现状.方法 采用整群抽样问卷调查法,用改编的大学生宿舍氛围问卷对880名大学生进行施测.结果 ①大学生宿舍氛围平均分为62.2(满分为80).②大学生宿舍氛围状况在性别(t=-4.70,P<0.001)、年级(F=3.03,P<0.05)和专业(F=3.68,P<0.05)上存在显著性差异,在是否是独生子女、生长区域和月消费水平上差异不显著(P>0.05).③大学生宿舍氛围状况在性别×专业(F=8.34,P<0.001)、性别×年级(F =6.50,P<0.01)、性别×专业×年级(F=.33,P<0.01)方面存在交互作用.结论 大学生宿舍氛围总体状况良好;性别、年级和专业对大学生宿舍氛围有着不同程度的影响.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Subjective well-being (SWB) has been widely found to have a profound impact on the individual, yet the process of its occurrence in public organizations remains unexplored. So the primary purpose of this paper is to explore the determining factors affecting the process of employee’s subjective well-being in public organizations using mixed methods research. Qualitative analysis using the grounded theory methodology reveals the effective factors that affect the process of employee’s subjective well-being in public organizations. Quantitative hypotheses are then developed based on a qualitative investigation. Survey data were collected from employees of public organizations in one of the provinces of Iran. Analysis of Moment Structure is used for data analysis. The results of the research revealed that both individual and organizational factors (as causal factors) influence the employees’ subjective well-being process (life satisfaction and positive affect). This phenomenon leads to the use of strategies which are affected by intervening and contextual factors. The consequences of this process are to change the attitude and behavior of individuals and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. This paper is among the first known to examine subjective well-being in public organizations using mixed methods research. The mixed methods approach offers a better insight to understanding effective factors affecting subjective well-being compared to the use of either a qualitative or quantitative method alone.  相似文献

Anxious of straying too far from traditional rational actor models and an unrelenting positivism, social movement scholars have displayed a persistent tendency to overlook the specificities of visual tools and aesthetic experience in claim-making and political protest. Often, as a direct consequence, the possibilities for mobilization and the matrices within which action takes place are described and understood in ways that are oversimplified, even distorted. Notably, small steps have been taken to overcome these distortions by building in a theory of affect that reserves a crucial space for the extra-discursive in the study of contentious politics. Extending some of these insights, this article reveals how an affect-informed approach can be particularly illuminating in studies of art-activism. It takes stencil protests from the aftermath of the 2001 crisis in Argentina as a case in point, discussing affects and their effects on porteño street artists. In so doing, it strengthens the case for greater incorporation of affect as a tool for understanding in literatures that deal with questions of framing, art-activism and the possibilities for social change.  相似文献
