本文使用MVC模式对电梯模型的状态、表示及控制逻辑进行分离,增加了程序了可维护性,可扩展性,使编程效率更高;在实现时采用了JAVA语言的Observer设计模式和事件处理机制。     

Construction of Youden hyperrectangles

Youden hyperrectangles are higher-dimensional generalizations of balanced block designs and generalized Youden designs. This kind of design has been shown to be optimal for the elimination of multi-way heterogeneity. In this paper, patchwork and geometric methods are combined to construct Youden hyperrectangles for many parameter values.     

Extrapolation designs and Φp-optimum designs for cubic regression on the q-ball

This paper continues earlier work of the authors in carrying out the program discussed in Kiefer (1975), of comparing the performance of designs under various optimality criteria. Designs for extrapolation problems are also obtained. The setting is that in which the controllable variable takes on values in the q-dimensional unit ball, and the regression is cubic. Thus, the ideas of comparison are tested for a model more complex than the quadratic models discussed previously. The E-optimum design performs well in terms of other criteria, as well as for extrapolation to larger balls. A method of simplifying the calculations to obtain approximately optimum designs, is illustrated.     

A method of deriving valid approximate expressions for bias in ratio estimation

The expectation of a ratio of two statistics is usually obtained by the method in which the denominator is expanded into a binomial series around its mean. However, this method can less generally be employed because the expansion of the denominator is not always valid. This paper presents a device in which the expectation of a ratio of two statistics can more generally be obtained. The device is to adopt a positive value as ‘catalyzer’. It can be applied not only to the ratio of estimates based on samples but also to ratio of any two statistics, if the denominator is positive and finite.     

The robustness and optimality of response surface designs

Recent work on extended optimality criteria for robust designs is applied to response surface problems. Methods of calculation are described and the criteria illustrated with several examples. The extended criteria discriminate among designs equivalent by other criteria.     

Φp-optimal second order designs for symmetric regions

Designs for quadratic regression on a cube, on a cube with truncated vertices and on a ball are studied in terms of a family of criteria, introduced by Kiefer (1974, 1975), that includes A-, D- and E-optimality. Both theoretical and numerical results on structure and performance are presented. In particular, D- and E-optimal designs are described and a procedure of construction of nearly robust (under variation of criterion) integer designs is suggested. Some examples are given for dimensions 4, 5 and 6.

Ridge Regression Estimation for Survey Samples

This paper describes procedure for constructing a vector of regression weights. Under the regression superpopulation model, the ridge regression estimator that has minimum model mean squared error is derived. Through a simulation study, we compare the ridge regression weights, regression weights, quadratic programming weights, and raking ratio weights. The ridge regression procedure with weights bounded by zero performed very well.     

Statistical Properties of a Modified Accelerated Design for Phase I Cancer Clinical Trials

We consider the semiparametric profile likelihood inference for the distribution function under doubly censored data. For further developments of the statistical inference based on the profile likelihood ratio and alternative tools such as the score or Wald-type inference, we discuss the structures of the profile likelihood estimators and their derivatives included in the score function and the Fisher function of the profile likelihood, establishing the consistencies of their estimators.     

A note on robustness of D-optimal block designs for two-colour microarray experiments

Two-colour microarray experiments form an important tool in gene expression analysis. Due to the high risk of missing observations in microarray experiments, it is fundamental to concentrate not only on optimal designs but also on designs which are robust against missing observations. As an extension of Latif et al. (2009), we define the optimal breakdown number for a collection of designs to describe the robustness, and we calculate the breakdown number for various D-optimal block designs. We show that, for certain values of the numbers of treatments and arrays, the designs which are D-optimal have the highest breakdown number. Our calculations use methods from graph theory.
