企业资产减值政策选择经济动机研究——基于新准则颁布后资本市场的经验数据

以沪、深市A股上市公司2005—2008年资产减值准备的计提和转回为研究对象,通过比较其资产减值行为在新准则颁布前与实施后的异同,分析上市公司资产减值政策选择的经济动机。研究显示:新准则压缩了上市公司盈余管理空间,尤其削弱了公司盈余平滑的动机;准则执行期后,上市公司长期资产减值金额在一定程度上反映了其资产创值能力的变化,达到了政策原有预期;上市公司对短期资产减值准备的计提大于以前年度,可能利用短期资产减值进行利润操纵;上市公司有扭亏、脱帽和防亏动机,准则应完善对短期资产减值的制度约束。

亨利.罗思的代表作《就说是睡着了》对主人公戴维的心理刻画和性格描写,与卡伦.霍妮的新精神分析学人格理论有着异曲同工之妙。在家庭暴力、社会歧视等巨大压力下,戴维形成典型的神经症。该神经症由紊乱的人际关系诱发,实际根植于特定文化固有的矛盾之中。罗思通过戴维的遭遇,隐喻犹太民族在异族强势文化下无以摆脱的困境,以探讨整个犹太人的命运与处境。《就说是睡着了》本质上可以说是关于每个犹太人的文化寓言,是一个文化囚徒的故事。     

“问渠哪得清如许？”——也谈《背影》里的“背影”

蒋济永先生《 <背影 >里的“背影”解读》将“背影”解读为“母亲的形象”的观点及其“泛性论”的批评方法值得商榷。笔者从作家的创作方法、直接动机、叙述细节、审美心理四个层面分析所得结论是 :假如将朱自清的散文看作浊浊尘世中的一湾碧影 ,他在散文中所饱含的诗学理想和至真至美的情感就是那源源而来的活水 ,加之作家对自我的反省和对人性的反思的表现 ,使作品中处处弥漫着人性的温馨。笔者提倡科学的实事求是的审美解读与批评。     

杰克·伦敦小说创作中的“狼”情结

杰克.伦敦是20世纪初美国文学最具批判精神的现实主义作家。《野性的呼唤》和《雪狼》是杰克.伦敦小说创作中"狼"情结的艺术体现。他对"狼"情结的执着有着深刻的文学渊源,"狼"主题小说具有特定的社会意义。     

Social work and technology: Challenges for social workers in practice: A case study

Abstract

Social Work is just beginning to consider the full impact of technology on practice. In this paper the experience of social workers working in Centrelink, the Australian Government's service delivery organisation, is explored in the context of Centrelink's increased reliance on technology to deliver its services to six million Australians. The results of a survey that indicated nearly one half of Centrelink's social workers have received no formal training in how to use the technologies they rely so heavily on in their work are considered, as is the role of the social workers who are working as a part of Centrelink's call centre network. It is argued that social workers need to be careful not to confuse means and ends when it comes to utilising technology as a part of their practice.

The manager's role in employees' successful return to work following back injury

This study reports on the short-term effects of an educational programme for immediate supervisors on employees' back pain problems. The course was designed to help supervisors more efficiently deal with employees returning to work after being treated for back pain. Forty-seven supervisors who had personnel either undergoing treatment for back pain problems or were candidates for this treatment were invited to attend a one-day course. This educational package consisted of information about back pain and stressed specific behaviours which supervisors could use to help their employees successfully return to work. The results showed that 78% of the supervisors found the course to be satisfactory enough to recommend it to a colleague without hesitation. Furthermore, independent ratings made by the supervisors and their employees suggested that supervisors complied with the recommended programme. Returning employees, moreover, gave their supervisors significantly higher ratings of support than a control group whose supervisors had not attended the educational programme. It was concluded that an educational programme which alters specific supervisory behaviours may be an effective method of assisting employee return to work after treatment for back pain. Further research is needed to determine the long-term effects of such a programme on absenteeism due to illness.
