关于高等教育大众化阶段办学理念和教育思想的探讨

不同于发达国家高等教育的大众化,我国在推进高等教育大众化时,还必须面对教育自身的信息化。这就需要今天的高等学校要具有前瞻性的眼光,在推进高等教育大众化的同时主动接受和适应教育信息化变革,不断更新办学理念,以适应新时期高等教育跨越式发展的需要。     

高校人力资源专业教学改革刍议

针对目前高校人力资源管理专业人才培养与社会需求之间存在的脱节现象,分析了该专业教学现状及存在问题,并从重新定位培养目标和设置课程结构、尝试多种教学方法、建立科学合理的教师绩效考核方法、建立并完善人力资源实验室和实习基地、探索多种社会实践模式5个方面提出了教学改革的措施和建议.     

“新工科”背景下机器人工程专业的课程体系构建探讨

针对机器人工程专业的课程满足不了“新工科”的新产业、新技术人才培养的需求,探讨了以“新工科”为背景的课程体系构建。讨论了课程体系构建的思路与路径,得出了课程体系的框架,为适应“新工科”发展的机器人工程专业课程体系的建设提供了参考依据。     

职业教育实行现代学徒制过程中存在的问题及对策

随着我国产业结构的调整,国家对技能型人才的需求量较大,职业教育是技能型人才培养的一个主要途径。为了能让职业院校的毕业生顺利进入企业并且迅速适应工作岗位,我国提出现代学徒制。随着现代学徒制的实施,切实解决了一部分职业院校与企业需求人才培养脱节的问题,也能与大学生适应社会需求,掌握一定的专业技能。但是实施过程中也存在一些问题,这些问题也阻碍了学校与企业共同协作、共同发展。     

Student Reflections on Vulnerability and Self-awareness in a Social Work Skills Course

Self-awareness is generally considered core to effective social work education and professional practice. This paper examines student reflections on personal vulnerability and self-awareness in social, educational, and professional contexts. Ethics approval and student consent was obtained to analyse entries from the online learning component of a second year interpersonal skills course. The week 7 workshop, which focused on the concept of self-awareness, was contextualised and triggered by an online viewing of a relevant TED talk on the power of vulnerability. Qualitative analysis of student entries from this week revealed three core themes: (a) a provocative stimulus, which emphasised the usefulness and challenging nature of the TED talk in the context of workshop learning; (b) vulnerability, scarcity, and blame, which highlighted student identification with stimuli material and their emerging self-awareness; and (c) the importance of self-awareness and connection, which illuminated the students’ beginning applications of theory to practice.

IMPLICATIONS

• Interpersonal skills courses can be well supported by a diverse range of online and classroom stimuli.

• The intentional scaffolding of self-reflective activities can support early skills development and promote self-awareness.

• The analysis of student reflections can contribute to effective and responsive curriculum design.

     

Governmentality of adulthood: a critical discourse analysis of the 2014 Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice

Produced and published by the coalition government, the publication of the 2014 Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice: 0–25 years (2014 SENCoP) sets out to overhaul the management of special educational needs (SEN) provision across England and Wales. This paper employs a critical discourse analysis (CDA) of the 2014 SENCoP to reveal the ideologies and aims that this policy is built upon. Following a Foucauldian framework of governmentality, this article focuses upon the way in which ‘a successful transition to adulthood’ is constructed within the policy, particularly in relation to the wider Conservative narrative of a ‘Big Society.’ Developing this analysis, the article draws upon the current political landscape of a Conservative government and the shift towards the creation of a ‘shared society’ in attempt to locate ‘adulthood’ within its wider political, economic, and cultural context. This analysis reveals the neoliberal values underpinning the 2014 SENCoP, whereby educational support is reduced to the practice of shaping and sculpting the future generation of citizens. By deconstructing notions of employment, independence, participation, and health, this article reveals the 2014 SENCoP as a tool of government, written to the demands of the economy rather than the unique needs, aspirations, and ambitions of children and young people labelled with SEN.     

A digital pedagogy pivot: re-thinking higher education practice from an HRD perspective

ABSTRACT

This paper has a provocative purpose. From both HRD and academic practice perspectives, it considers the digital pedagogy pivot made necessary by the Covid-19 pandemic. Universities have traditionally resisted substantial change in learning and teaching processes. This paper addresses the challenge they face of achieving the equivalent of a ten-year digital learning strategy in mere months. From a position that HE pedagogy constitutes a site of HRD practice, the paper considers the characteristics of a meaningful, digitally enabled pedagogy in Higher Education (HE) and their alignment with established HRD theories and concepts. It considers the pedagogic opportunities arising from the ‘digital pivot’ and the HRD processes appropriate to facilitate game-changing approaches to academic practice in Higher Education. The paper advances debate about the relationship between HRD and HE academic practice and contributes proposals for HRD processes to support rapid pedagogic change. It further contributes an original categorization of the way in which HRD concepts and theories are aligned with principles of HE pedagogy and a digital pedagogy pivot model.     

浅析政治教学积极语言运用的德育功能

积极语言是通过语言引导自己和别人关注生活中美好的事物,发现和激励他人的优势和潜能,促进积极的人际关系。语言是教师在教育教学的媒介,如何通过积极语言的使用来有效提升教育教学效果至关重要。立德树人是教育的根本任务,政治学科在德育中发挥着特殊的作用,本文以政治学科教学为例,探究积极语言的使用对政治学科德育功能实现的作用。     

Military service and STEM employment: Do veterans have an advantage?

We use five years of American Community Survey data to examine how military service provides a non-degree-based pathway into STEM occupations. Military service is associated with STEM occupations in positive and surprising ways. Veterans are more likely than their civilian counterparts to work in STEM, an effect particularly strong for women and among workers without a STEM bachelor's degree. Among workers lacking STEM BAs, veterans were more likely to hold STEM occupations. Indeed, veterans lacking a college degree at all are more likely than their nonveteran counterparts to hold STEM employment. We conclude that military service in itself provides a rarely-discussed route to diversifying STEM and consider the policy implications.

新时代“思政课程”和“课程思政”同向发力、联动同行、融合发展，是高校实现为祖国培养德才兼备优秀人才的有效路径，实现全员全程全方位育人工作的必然选择。深入开展融合发展工作，必须构建协同育人体系，教师间深度合作，形成协同效应，还要有制度上的保障。
