论海明威小说的美学创造

海明威在长期的小说创作实践中，使用了含蓄、隐身和简约三种手法，创建了不同于任何一个现代主义流派的小说理论，从而在理论和实践上均达到了现代小说美学的高峰。     

The comfort of strangers: social work,modernity and late Victorian England—Part I

In these two related articles the history of social work in late Victorian England is understood by aligning it not with self-consciously held ideologies of, say, bourgeois capitalism, patriarchy, evangelical Protestantism, or liberal humanism, but with the complex cultural system of modernity. It is hoped to problematize both the genealogy and the substance of early social work that now so decisively shapes our interpretations of the influences of late Victorian philanthropy. The history of social work has to be treated seriously if we are to properly understand the present day situation in terms of modernity and investigate its orientation more thoroughly. This first paper offers a history of social work which draws attention to the imbrications of a secular modernity and how its governing ideas, texts and discourses of the time influence philanthropy. It examines dominant modernist themes that had a significant impact on the emergence of social work and the important role of the Charity Organization Society. It is suggested that these themes form part of a shared European heritage. Whilst the influences of modernity on social work are likely to have been uneven, there were common conditions faced by people in Europe and shared developments that gave way to the rise of social work in the nineteenth century.

文章运用濉溪方言“子尾词”同普通话“子尾词”相对照的方法,首先探究濉溪方言“子尾词”丰富性的原因,然后采用“子尾”和其它词缀的配合方式,来探究濉溪方言“子尾词”的内部结构,初步得出濉溪方言“子尾词”丰富性的结论。     

浅谈鲁迅小说对妇女解放问题的探索与思考

鲁迅是“五四”时期较早关注妇女解放问题的作家。他的小说《呐喊》、《彷徨》塑造了众多的女性形象 ,体现了他对妇女解放问题的严肃思考。鲁迅始终保持着一种清醒的冷静的审视态度。在小说里 ,他对于受尽侮辱、损害的女性给予深切的同情 ,但从不因同情而涂上理想的色彩 ,而是重在揭示中国女性“不争”的一面 ,直视她们自觉的奴性意识及种种病态行为、心理 ,极力倡扬中国女性应有清醒的反抗意识 ,渴望她们从根深蒂固的封建伦理道理规范的重重束缚中挣脱出来 ,将天性中的“母性”与“妻性”完美结合 ,升华为一种善与美的力量 ,结束病态而又不幸的人生 ,成为真正有价值的人 ,成为真正的女人。     

Suitability for Professional Practice: Assessing and Developing Moral Character in Social Work Education

This article considers the importance of an explicit focus upon the ‘character’ of social work applicants and students in debates regarding suitability for professional education and practice. Drawing upon the growing body of literature concerning gate-keeping decisions and the literature exploring the relevance of virtue ethics for social work, this article examines the benefits of an approach that foregrounds the assessment and development of moral character. The discussion is located within the context of the most recent reforms to social work education within England, whilst recognising the international relevance of these debates. It is argued that incorporating an approach informed by virtue ethics has the potential to bridge traditional fault-lines within selection debates that have focused upon the tensions between a widening access perspective and a focus upon academic ability. Crucially, this article examines the curriculum and pedagogic issues arising from a commitment to provide opportunities to develop moral character and virtue. The article argues that a dual focus upon selection and pedagogic issues, with an explicit focus upon character throughout, is critical to the development of wise, effective and virtuous social workers who are able to exercise sound judgment and wisdom across a range of practice contexts.

《西游记》是一部带有浓厚宗教色彩的长篇巨著。作品主人公之一的孙悟空,其身上反映出浓厚的宗教意识。一、从孙悟空的斗争中,反映出来的佛教教义"法识"观,孙悟空身上反映出来的佛教思想。二、孙悟空皈依是不彻底的,在其身上还有很强烈的自我意识,是与佛教思想相背的,却与明代追求个性解放的思想相统一。孙悟空的形象体现了人、动物、神魔、宗教四个特点的结合,他是一个宗教的战斗英雄形象     

弃妇的反抗——从中、希文化背景中审视美狄亚和秦香莲性格差异

在中、希戏剧史上,美狄亚与秦香莲命运经历极为相似,都是儿女尚处年幼,自己被丈夫抛弃,受到夫权与王权的压迫.她们对不公的命运进行了反抗,但由于所处环境的不同和中、希文化传统的差异,二者采取了不同的反抗方式,同时也体现了二人迥异的性格美狄亚充满力量与激情,清醒地面对现实,大胆而残忍地报复压迫者;秦香莲柔弱而坚韧,一再忍让,最后求助正义,讨回公道.
