东汉政局变动中的颍川豪族

颍川豪族群体是东汉政权得以建立的三大支柱之一;颍川士大夫豪族是东汉桓灵之际党人群体中的重要组成部分,是反宦官、清议运动的主导力量。在汉魏之际颍川豪族群体是反对董卓的重要力量;以辛氏、郭氏为代表的颍川豪族与冀州豪族的争执对袁绍政权的败亡产生了重要影响,以荀或、荀攸为代表的颍川豪族在曹操政权谋士群体中居于核心地位,为曹操统一北方发挥了至关重要的作用,从而成为魏晋士族的重要组成部分。     

俄罗斯远东联邦区的人口与移民问题研究

长期以来,俄罗斯联邦的人口与移民问题非常突出,主要原因是俄罗斯人口出生率低、死亡率高,已成为制约俄罗斯经济发展的重要因素之一.本文根据俄罗斯改革时期远东联邦区人口发展状况和区域人口再生产的趋势,分析了远东联邦区移民产生的原因、移民方向及其影响.提出了解决俄远东联邦区人口问题的措施.     

东晋孙恩、卢循起事的浙东因素

孙恩、卢循起事是中国古代历史上发生于江南地区的一次大规模的对抗统治者的民众活动。孙恩、卢循起事在东晋末期爆发，前后绵延十三年（399，411）之久，影响遍及东晋主要统治区域。孙恩、卢循起事原因众多，但其浙东因素无疑最为主要。这其中包括浙东地区大族与低级土族的矛盾、浙东地区经济的兴盛和苛剥、浙东地区海洋地理环境等。此次起事的综合因素表明，魏晋南北朝时期是古代浙江历史上的发展高峰之一。     

东周都城研究中不可或缺的一部力作——读《东周王城研究》

东周王城是东周时期的国都,也是中国古代都城的重要组成部分。徐昭峰教授独著的《东周王城研究》,在详细梳理东周王城考古资料的基础上,对东周王城的地望、成周与王城的关系、东周王城的城郭、宫城及宫殿建筑、手工业作坊、仓窖、王陵分区、墓葬等进行了深入研究,形成了对东周王城的系统认识,对进一步完善中国都城制度史具有重要学术意义,是填补洛阳两周考古系统研究专著空白之作。     

Taking Sacred Space out of Place: From Mount Sinai to Mount Getty Through Travelling Icons

Abstract

Starting from a behind‐the‐scenes tour preceding the opening of the recent Getty exhibition Icons from Sinai, this article seeks to destabilize traditional notions of sacred space as a territorially fixed entity defined through a binary opposition to the profane. Icons and other ‘travelling’ sacred objects are regarded as vehicles for the circulation and displacement of holy places outside of their physical boundaries and for the reconfiguration of sacred space in new, hybrid forms. The paper thus suggests a reconceptualization of sacred space in relational terms, as the product of human and non‐human interactions and networked flows, and of ‘sacred places’ as ‘reassuring anchors’ (both territorial and imaginative) within a world of fluid global networks.     

Southeast Asia Of The Ninth To Fourteenth Centuries

This review essay of Violence and Vengeance engages with Duncan's view that religious distinctions on their own are rarely the cause of violence, although they may subsequently form its raison d'etre. The review examines how religion assumes a very public space in various Indonesian societies but how the public profession of distinctive religious positions need not stir hostility. However, recent assertions of religious purity and correctness are putting new pressures on community relations, and can be seen as contributing to the severe expressions of violence in North Maluku studied by Duncan. The review questions his call for a truth commission as a necessary precursor to reconciliation, suggesting it may disrupt the strong progress already made towards peace. Instead, it calls for a closer analysis of elite and state roles in provoking or countenancing communal violence.     

东晋襄阳地区军府的沿革及其与各政治集团之关系——以侨义成郡为中心的考察

东晋襄阳地区军府扼长江中上游北鄙门户,政治地位十分突出,其沿革与各政治集团势力的消长关系密切。咸和七年,陶侃以桓宣镇襄阳,以其淮南部曲置侨义成郡。襄阳地区军府的沿革,与义成郡统辖权的归属紧密相关。义成郡统辖权在不同名号的襄阳地区军府和其他军府间频繁地转换,关键在于义成郡军事化的＂乡族集团＂是襄阳地区军府所仰仗的重要力量,而其他军府（主要是荆州都督府）欲削弱或省废襄阳军府时,则往往先将义成郡的统辖权收归己有。义成郡统辖权的转换,见证了襄阳地区军府的沿革和各政治集团斗争的经过。     

Reframing national locality: religious minorities using history to transform local experience in Georgia

In the Republic of Georgia, Baptists are marginalized minorities vis-à-vis the powerful Georgian Orthodox Church. In recent years, Baptists have adopted ‘culturally relevant’ reforms, incorporating Orthodox symbols and sensibilities into worship and administration. These reforms also include the deployment of a historical narrative identifying them as authentic members of the ostensibly Orthodox national community. Based on ethnographic fieldwork among Georgian Baptists, I investigate how they use history to constitute new frames for interpreting themselves as appropriate to local contexts. Revising their history has helped constitute a viable national identity by ‘localizing’ Baptist faith and experience in the Georgian Orthodox milieu.
