秦皇岛明长城券门雕刻艺术特色及现状调查

在秦皇岛境内的300余km明代长城中,有近千座敌楼,保存完整和较为完整的约占半数,在这些敌楼上都有券门和券窗,在很多券门上刻着具有很高艺术价值的浮雕装饰,他们利用当地特有的材料,就地取材进行创作,风格各异,材质变化丰富,使原本冰冷的军事防御工事,增添了许多文化气息和人文关怀,然而由于近年来缺少相应的保护措施,使得大部分精美作品遭到了不同程度的破坏和损毁,合理利用和保护这些文化遗产是迫在眉睫的事情。     

曾国藩集团的“北援筹议”述论

咸丰十年英法联军进犯北京之际,清廷多方调援,亦涉及湘军。曾国藩奏陈免让谕旨饬派的鲍超部北上,而请从他和胡林翼中间派一人率军赴援。在此前后,湘系要员们认真筹议聚谋。尽管因形势变化湘军北援终归未果,但筹议中反映出他们对“北援”及相关之事的态度和应对方策,颇值注意。

高校社科学报目前存在着实力不强、质量不高、办刊困难的局面,要改变这种状况,就要贯彻落实科学发展观,明确学报的发展方向、本质和核心,发展的基本内涵和基本要求,使高校学报真正拥有一席之地。

文化的产业化发展给中国文化教育事业提出了许多值得思考的问题.具有河北文化传统和文化特色的少儿综合素质教育,在河北文化产业发展中居于什么地位?具有何种职能?拥有怎样的发展机遇?本文以文化产业的理论视角,从少儿综合素质教育与文化教育生产力、当代科技、文化资源、文化市场四个方面,初步提出了发展少儿综合素质教育的新思路.

金世宗完颜雍在位29年,为了常葆女真全民族骑射武功不衰败,有效地抗击北方鞑靼部族南下攻掠金国,特在黑龙江金源故地山林中,大力倡导女真族以射猎野兽为实战的习武运动.同时颁布有利于生态平衡保护野兽繁衍的法令.对金国北疆世居混同江两岸的乌底改族施以残酷剿杀,以求得金源故地北疆的安全.     

Substance‐dependent women becoming mothers: breaking the cycle of adverse childhood experiences

Parenting may be particularly challenging for substance‐dependent mothers who have grown up with parents who themselves had substance use disorders (SUDs). The aim of this study was to explore how substance‐dependent mothers describe their childhood experiences with substance‐abusing parents and the association between these earlier experiences and their own role as caregivers. Using purposeful sampling, mothers admitted for 1 year to a family ward at a substance abuse clinic were approached. Through in‐depth, qualitative interviews, nine substance‐dependent mothers described their lives in the form of present, past and future tense. The findings indicate that substance‐dependent women, who have experienced SUDs in their families of origin, face several major challenges when they become mothers. Some describe having lived their whole lives ‘on the edge of society'. This makes their rehabilitation process more complex. All mothers work to abstain from substances, process traumatic experiences and integrate their family into society. They need help to build supportive social networks and to establish a safe and predictable family environment for themselves and their children. The therapeutic implications of these findings will be discussed.     

Performance anxiety: women’s sexed bodies in Pakistan

The nexus of Islam, gender, race and violence has been keenly revisited in some post-9/11 scholarship. The concern over the racialized Muslim male body is justifiable in cases of rendition, torture and the kind of battlefields that mark the War on Terror. However, the sympathetic analysis of the tortured Muslim male body as a permanent and universally vulnerable imaginary has necessarily challenged the framing of sexual politics for Muslim contexts. This bid to shield the vulnerable Muslim male body from Islamophobia and imperialist violence forecloses the notion that Islamist patriarchy and politics can themselves be fundamentally violent in the post-9/11 moment and within the Muslim community. This obscures the range of routine, domestic and normative violent expressions observed by men in Muslim societies. This essay discusses two cases that illustrate the means and methods by which female bodies have been sexed by the narrative of the War on Terror in Pakistan. These cases highlight how the academic efforts that seek to rescue the racialized Muslim male body complicate the struggle of resisting (lay) female bodies.     

Two new estimators for the proportion of true null hypotheses in multiple test

In multiple hypothesis test, an important problem is estimating the proportion of true null hypotheses. Existing methods are mainly based on the p-values of the single tests. In this paper, we propose two new estimations for this proportion. One is a natural extension of the commonly used methods based on p-values and the other is based on a mixed distribution. Simulations show that the first method is comparable with existing methods and performs better under some cases. And the method based on a mixed distribution can get accurate estimators even if the variance of data is large or the difference between the null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis is very small.
