大学英语课堂中的学生口头互动现状探究

采用课堂观察和问卷方式,对大学生参与英语课堂的现状进行了调查分析.课堂观察显示,无论教学用语还是教学活动,教师都在尽可能鼓励和引导学生参与课堂口头互动.学生方面,虽然有7成承认听说是最想提高的技能,但对于老师的各种互动问题,只有少数同学主动参与,大部分学生处于被动局面.对教师的调查则显示,教师认可并创造互动课堂.但学生的参与却不尽如人意.因此,大学生不愿意参与课堂口头互动的状况仍没有得到改善.     

量词插入与汉英数量表述

名词可以分为两类:带有[+个体]特征的名词和带有[-个体]特征的名词.定量数词只能直接加在带有[+个体]特征的名词前面来计数.为了挽救定量数词的这一局限性,汉语和英语都选择了“量词插入”这一手段,但在汉语中“量词插入”属于词汇手段,即用附加手段将“量词”作为语素创造出一种新的双音节词汇；而在英语中“量词插入”则是句法手段,它必须满足“格检验式”这一句法规则.     

从多模态话语分析视角看广告语言的映像象似性

语言的象似性指语言的表达形式与其表达的内容之间有某种象似关系。在广告英语中,映像象似性广泛存在于语言的音系、排版、字体等多模态手段中,是人们有意识使用的一种手段。搜集大量21世纪以来的品牌广告语料,试图通过多模态话语分析理论对英语广告中映像象似原则及其功能进行较为全面的分析,从而说明映像象似性理论在广告语言中的恰当运用,并证明认知语言学的相似性与功能语言学的多模态话语分析相结合的新领域研究方向。     

浅谈如何运用英语语言环境优化英语课堂教学

本文首先阐述了营造英语语言环境的重要性及意义,并基于学生英语学习具体情况的分析,提出了在英语课堂教学过程中营造良好语言环境的方法,及师生如何合理创设并运用这一英语语言环境来优化英语课堂教学,从而能引起教师和学生对英语语言环境的关注。     

The parody in Death and the Compass by Jorge Luis Borges as a Metaphysical Detective Novel

The emergence of metaphysical detective novels changed the situation that traditional detective novels are often criticized as vulgar literature for its escaping from reality and its purpose of recreation and stimulus. Jorge Luis Borges is one of the forerunners of metaphysical detective fiction. Especially, some of his short novels become the classics of metaphysical detective novels. In this thesis, I will try to analyze the parody of one of Jorge Luis Borges＇ representative metaphysical detective novels --＂Death and the Compass＂ to see the main differences between metaphysical detective novels and traditional detective novels. This thesis is divided into three parts. Chapter one gives brief introduction about traditional detective novels. Chapter two discusses the parody in this novel. And chapter three comes to the conclusion which gives the reason for this change.     

Changes of high school English teaching model under the directions of new English Curriculum Standard（英文）

Communications around the world becomes common with the quickening of China’s reform and open door policies and widening of international communications,thus it is very pressing to modify the model of high school English class for students’concept of English use as a tool.This paper focuses on the change of English class teaching model in high schools under the direction of New English Curriculum Standard and its purposes and effects.     

Contrast of Compliments Between Chinese and English（英文）

Compliments and their responses are special speech actions which are broadly used in interpersonal communications.And how to give compliments and respond to them constitute a significant part of the communicative competence of every member in a speech community.Complimenting is a particularly suitable speech action to investigate in comparative studies,for it acts as a window through which we can view what is valued by a particular culture.This essay mainly analyzes and researches the differences between Chinese and English compliments,attempting to reveal the contrast between Chinese and English compliments in the aspects of expression,topics and lexical formulas.The comparative study may contribute to understand more about Chinese and English compliment cultures,and furthermore,promote the study of pragmatics and the development of intercultural communication effectively.     

骆宾基建国后小说创作的心路历程

骆宾基建国后的小说，在创作方法上仍选择了现实主义，而在文化观念上则选择了政治倾向性。这一文学艺术观的确定，经历了空虚、疑虑、困惑、寻求等痛苦的情感纠葛和理性思考。骆宾基在走过了一段艰难的心路历程之后。又以极大的热情创作了许多适应时代要求的文学作品。他建国后的创作成就虽难以与建国前相比，但却能看出一个跨时代作家坚韧顽强的创作精神和对党和民族忠实自觉的使命感。政治阐释成为骆宾基建国后小说创作的现实主义特征。     

The Sources of Error in Psychology

The backgrounds and roles of school interpreters who provide interpretation services for limited English proficient students were investigated through a survey study. The results are based on a total of 89 interpreters working in schools throughout New York State. A total of 29 languages were represented in the two samples of interpreters with Spanish being the most frequently used language. Most of the interpreters had Bachelors Degrees or higher but very few had any formal training in interpretation. The results suggest that most interpreters work on a part-time basis. The interpreters reported providing services for a number of different school personnel while fulfilling numerous roles that included interpreting during assessment sessions as well as during parent meetings. The implications of the findings are discussed from the perspectives of the training and recruiting ofschool interpreters. The limitations of the findings are also examined.
