展望、回顾与探索--中国古代文学研究高层论坛综述

文章对2002年9月西安召开的"中国古代文学研究高层论坛"所涉及的"全球化背景下中国文学资源的价值重估"、"20世纪古代文学研究成果的回顾、批评与新世纪研究前景的展望"、"古代文学研究的学术规范"、"古代文学研究方法"四个问题的讨论情况以及一些主要论文的观点作了介绍与综述;并就讨论及论文中所涉及问题在中国古代文学研究方面的意义作了评析.     

论应对西方对中国宗教渗透的策略

宗教渗透是西方对我国进行文化渗透的重要手段之一。对于我国而言,不深刻认识宗教渗透的本质,识破种种宗教渗透的阴谋,就不能采取正确的应对策略。因而,应反对过左或过右两个极端。既能有效地反宗教渗透,又能最大程度地争取群众,应该是应对西方对中国宗教渗透的策略的最佳效果。从参与主体的角度看,应把应对西方对我国的宗教渗透当作一个系统工程,参与该工程的主体要各司其职,相互配合。     

《红旗谱》研究五十年述评

五十年来的《红旗谱》研究曾掀起三次研究高潮。从关注作品的时代背景、主题、人物形象、认识价值到第二次研究高潮中对其艺术风格、版本、情节构成的深层探讨,再到第三次研究高潮中叙事学角度的分析、文化、美学领域的拓展,《红旗谱》的研究由单一的文本阐释走向了多方位、深向度的交叉学科研究。     

压出来的“新”——论闻一多在性灵与故纸堆之间的挣扎

作为五四新一代的文学史家，闻一多别开生面的文学史研究往往令人耳目一新，但其中亦包括一些惊世骇俗的怪论。细读《伏羲考》，可以见出闻一多文学史研究的学术路径和学术设想。在性灵与故纸堆之间的挣扎最终压出闻一多文学史研究的“新”，这便是闻一多强烈个人风格生成的原因。     

南京国民政府时期的高等教育述评

国民党统治区的高等教育,由于广大教育工作者和爱国师生的努力,克服了战争的干扰和破坏,在缓慢的发展着。同时,由于国民党采取了一系列发展高等教育的措施,从而在一定程度上保证了专业教学的质量,在培养具有专门技能的人才方面起了积极作用。但同时也不可避免的暴露了一些问题。     

Testing the Effects of Similarity on Risky Choice: Implications for Violations of Expected Utility

Our aim in this paper was to establish an empirical evaluation for similarity effects modeled by Rubinstein; Azipurua et al.; Leland; and Sileo. These tests are conducted through a sensitivity analysis of two well-known examples of expected utility (EU) independence violations. We found that subjective similarity reported by respondents was explained very well by objective measures suggested in the similarity literature. The empirical results of this analysis also show that: (1) the likelihood of selection for the riskier choice increases as the pair becomes more similar, (2) these choice patterns are consistent with well-known independence violations of expected utility, and (3) a significant proportion of individuals exhibit intransitive choice patterns predicted under similarity effects, but not allowed under generalized expected utility models for risky choice.     

Demonised,impoverished and now forced into isolation: the fate of disabled people under austerity

Disability Living Allowance (DLA) was introduced in the United Kingdom explicitly to help offset the extra costs of disability. The scrapping of DLA and its replacement with the so-called Personal Independence Payment is causing massive concern across the United Kingdom, not least because it comes in the wake of a large number of other cuts, all of which impact disproportionately on disabled people. These changes reflect the retraction of ‘welfare’ across many European countries. As the government has refused to perform a cumulative impact assessment to date, it has been left to grassroots organisations such as DPAC to assess the damage and put the bigger picture together. An article in the New Statesman reports research showing that by 2018 disabled people are set to lose an astonishing £28.3 billion worth of financial support. These changes are going to affect up to 3.7 million disabled people in total.

力主统一的文坛斗士——论陈映真对“文学台独”的批判

当下,"文学台独"逆流甚嚣尘上,但文坛斗士、台湾思想界、文学界统派的领军人物陈映真与之进行了毫不妥协的斗争,予以了坚决的批判.具体表现为两大方面:一是坚持台湾文学的中国属性,坚决批判"台湾文学主体论",一是对为"皇民文学"翻案的台独逆流进行彻底的清算.     

“I've been independent for so damn long!”: Independence, masculinity and aging in a help seeking context

This paper draws on semi-structured interviews conducted with 36 older men to examine how older men's understandings of independence relate to their help seeking behaviours and health service use. We argue that discourses of masculinity and successful aging are both represented in men's talk about independence. Recognising that these discourses are intertwined is important for understanding how older men seek help and use health services. We outline the practice and policy implications of viewing older men's help seeking behaviours in this way, and how it might be useful for promoting older men's health.
