《大学》自我教化思想及对其当今教育的启示

整篇《大学》其实都在讲一件事,就是“修身”,其宗旨又是强调通过自我教化来达到修身。教化的价值在于帮助人们去除内在障碍,不断培养人的理性与德性。“三纲领”就是自我教化的本质要求和价值目标,而“八条目”的践行过程就是一个自我教化的过程。《大学》中这些自我教化的理念对我们今天的教育有着积极的借鉴意义。     

LAG Length Selection and the Construction of Unit Root Tests with Good Size and Power

It is widely known that when there are errors with a moving‐average root close to −1, a high order augmented autoregression is necessary for unit root tests to have good size, but that information criteria such as the AIC and the BIC tend to select a truncation lag (k) that is very small. We consider a class of Modified Information Criteria (MIC) with a penalty factor that is sample dependent. It takes into account the fact that the bias in the sum of the autoregressive coefficients is highly dependent on k and adapts to the type of deterministic components present. We use a local asymptotic framework in which the moving‐average root is local to −1 to document how the MIC performs better in selecting appropriate values of k. In Monte‐Carlo experiments, the MIC is found to yield huge size improvements to the DF^GLS and the feasible point optimal P_T test developed in Elliott, Rothenberg, and Stock (1996). We also extend the M tests developed in Perron and Ng (1996) to allow for GLS detrending of the data. The MIC along with GLS detrended data yield a set of tests with desirable size and power properties.

On matrix variance inequalities

Olkin and Shepp [2005, A matrix variance inequality. J. Statist. Plann. Inference 130, 351-358] presented a matrix form of Chernoff's inequality for Normal and Gamma (univariate) distributions. We extend and generalize this result, proving Poincaré-type and Bessel-type inequalities, for matrices of arbitrary order and for a large class of distributions.     

“十一五”期间统计学国家社科基金项目分析

 国家社科基金项目为我国哲学和社会科学的研究指引了方向。本文系统分析了“十一五”期间统计学国家社科基金项目从立项到完成的情况,在总结取得成绩的基础上,同时也指出了该学科项目发展中存在的有关问题。     

思孟学派的目的论分析

“人学”是思孟学派的理论精华,对人进行先天的预设,使人善的本性的实现成为人的目的,是其学说的主导因素,具有明显的目的论倾向。其目的论是一种道德目的论和内在目的论,但同时具有形而上目的论和外在目的论的表象,体现了中国“天人合一”模式下内在与外在、形上与形下、目的与手段相统一的特色,而这种特色源于中国人体悟和处理人生的特有依据———道德理性。     

Nonstationary nonlinear quantile regression

This study examines estimation and inference based on quantile regression for parametric nonlinear models with an integrated time series covariate. We first derive the limiting distribution of the nonlinear quantile regression estimator and then consider testing for parameter restrictions, when the regression function is specified as an asymptotically homogeneous function. We also study linear-in-parameter regression models when the regression function is given by integrable regression functions as well as asymptotically homogeneous regression functions. We, furthermore, propose a fully modified estimator to reduce the bias in the original estimator under a certain set of conditions. Finally, simulation studies show that the estimators behave well, especially when the regression error term has a fat-tailed distribution.

研究了江苏省科技经费在科研机构、高等学校和大中型企业三类执行部门中的配置结构和各类执行部门的科技经费支出结构 ;按照科技活动产出情况 ,对各类执行部门的科技经费使用效率进行综合评价 ;指出了江苏省在科技经费配置和使用中存在的问题 ,并据此提出了江苏省优化科技经费配置结构 ,提高科技经费的使用效率的对策建议
