称呼语转换的语用分析

在社会语言学领域,称呼语最能反映语言的功能。不同形式的称呼语反映了交际双方所属的社会角色, 彼此之间的亲疏程度以及所处的交际环境。称呼语的转换有其独特的语用含义,它可以指示情感,人际关系,可以以言行事,还可以成为交际策略。称呼语的转换提示了交际双方社会关系的变化,受到情景,权势关系等的影响。     

中日同形词“先生”的考察

在汉语和日语中存在很多意思相近、用法相同的同形词,给语言相互的交流、学习提供了方便。但不留意的话就会掉入同形词的陷阱,使人们在交流中产生各种误解,严重的甚至引起摩擦。因此,中日同形词的对照研究对排除文化障碍也有意义。以中日同形词“先生”为例,对其在两种语言中的词义、用法、色彩等进行了对照分析,得出的结论是：1）汉语的“先生”具有不稳定性,词义一再萎缩;2）历史地看在感情色彩方面汉语的“先生”含褒义、贬义、中性,日语的「先生」基本上为褒义;3）语体色彩方面汉语和日语的“先生”相同,都可用于口语和书面;4）汉语的“先生”只是一个称呼词,而日语的「先生」既是称谓又是职业;5）日语“先生”一词增加了“对他人亲密的或带有玩笑的称呼”这一义项。     

The German Administrative Record Census – An object identification problem

Summary: The next German census will be an Administrative Record Census. Data from several administrative registers about persons will be merged. Object identification has to be applied, since no unique identification number exists in the registers. We present a two–step procedure. We briefly discuss questions like correctness and completeness of the Administrative Record Census. Then we focus on the object identification problem, that can be perceived as a special classification problem. Pairs of records are to be classified as matched or not matched. To achieve computational efficiency a preselection technique of pairs is applied. 《〈祭驴文〉一首》考辨与校理

敦煌写卷S.1477号《<祭驴文>一首》堪称唐人俗文中的一篇佳作,此文语言通俗滑稽,妙语连珠,口语色彩极为浓郁,保存了许多当时的俗字、俗语词。从俗语言文字学的角度对此写卷作一些考辨,可了解唐代俗字、俗语词运用的情况。

从问候语与告别语、致谢语与道歉语、称呼语三个方面对中日文中的礼貌表达法进行比较,可以得出在礼貌表达上被认为是同出一辙的中日文也有着很大的不同之处,若不了解其不同之处,就容易造成语用失误。     

比较社交语境下英汉称谓语的语用功能

社交语境下的各种英汉称谓语,往往不能按其字面意思简单理解,而必须依据语境提供的信息,揣摩其语用含义和语用功能选用恰当的称谓词语,表达称谓者的情感,传达称谓者的语气,体现交际者之间的身份,反映交际发生的特定场合,以达到称谓语在原语和目的语之间的语用等值。     

“See Media”: Coco Fusco’s Direct Address and the Performance of In/Security

Abstract

A Room of One’s Own: Women and Power in the New America (2006–2008) is a multi-media performance art piece by visual artist Coco Fusco. In a lecture style performance staged at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) as part of their 2007 symposium The Feminist Future: Theory and Practice in the Visual Arts, Fusco explores the use of women in US military interrogation efforts during the height of the War on Terror and – problematic and violent as it may be – mounts a parallel attack against the art world itself. Although invited to speak, Fusco speaks (performs) out of turn – and out of sync in order to level a critique at the very establishment in which the symposium was held. In doing so, Fusco directs our attention towards the interwoven workings of power, surveillance, silence, and the making and the performances of particular kinds of citizen/subjects/enemy combatants/art objects/interrogators/artists. This article seeks to address how visual culture and US military security discourses are inextricably linked through interwoven histories and unsettling relationships between race and national security, national security and feminism, as well as race and feminism.
