美国特殊教育青年教师的入职教育

入职教育是对青年教师提供的综合性支持,对于青年教师教学能力的提高和未来的职业发展有着重要的作用。由于面对的学生群体的特殊性,特殊教育青年教师会面临比普通青年教师更大的挑战,因此,入职教育对于特殊教育青年教师有着重要的作用和意义。借鉴美国对特殊教育青年教师提供的入职教育的经验,可以从完善特殊教育青年教师入职教育制度,联合大学共同实施和管理特殊教育青年教师入职教育项目,促进开展特殊教育青年教师入职教育相关研究三个方面入手,规范和促进我国特殊教育青年教师入职教育的发展。     

Caring Together for Elderly Mothers: A Qualitative Study of Relations Between Adult Daughters and Supportive Home Care Workers

ABSTRACT

This qualitative study examines relationships between adult daughters caring for elderly disabled mothers and the mothers' personal care workers (PCWs) paid directly by the Wisconsin Community Options Program (COP). A subset of a larger study, in these five cases PCWs provide substantial hands on care without substituting for the heavy care also provided by the daughters. Direct payment offers the daughters and workers freedom to schedule around their family obligations and other limits and tailor care to the abilities of all three participants. It also allows the daughter to be the paid provider when she chooses. Expansion of such supportive services could benefit many more low and middle income families.     

Program evaluation of trauma-informed yoga for vulnerable populations

BackgroundTrauma is highly prevalent among vulnerable populations, including those who are incarcerated, in treatment for substance use, or seeking mental health services. Trauma-informed yoga seeks to create a safer yoga practice for individuals with a trauma history and may improve emotional and physical wellbeing. Thus, we conducted an evaluation of a trauma-informed yoga program to gain insight into participant experiences.MethodsTrauma-informed yoga classes were led by trained volunteers and held in three sectors that work with vulnerable populations: corrections and reentry, substance use treatment and recovery, and community and mental health. Data were collected via anonymous survey using a retrospective pre-post design. The survey instrument captured reasons for student participation and perceived effects of yoga on emotional and physical wellbeing.ResultsStudents were motivated to participate in yoga classes by expectations of physical, mental, and spiritual benefit. Students reported perceived improvements in emotional and physical wellbeing and greater use of self-regulation skills after starting yoga.ConclusionOur findings suggest trauma-informed yoga is perceived as beneficial by vulnerable individuals, especially those in the correctional system or recovering from substance use. Our results support the value of offering trauma-informed yoga in institutionalized and community settings. Improvements in emotional and physical wellbeing warrant formal study.     

ICP与CPI关系比较和整合研究

广义上看,全球国际比较项目（ICP）和消费者价格指数（CPI）都属于价格统计的范畴。比较分析发现,虽然二者在理论基础、测度目标等方面存在差异,但在原始数据类型、指标生成过程、编制方法和原则等方面相同或非常相近,为二者关系的协调和整合提供了理论支撑。在此基础上,探讨了ICP与CPI整合的总体思路,从基本、扩展和系统三个层面研究二者整合的方法,并提出若干政策建议。     

大数据时代的统计教育

2014年11月,美国统计学会适应大数据时代的要求,发布了统计学本科专业指导性教学纲要。而在2013年,我国统计类本科专业刚刚进行了一次较大调整,目前的专业课程设置和教学内容改革还处于探索阶段。美国统计学会发布的这份指导性教学纲要对于推进我国统计类本科专业教育改革具有重要借鉴意义。本文首先概括性地介绍了美国统计学会发布的统计学本科专业指导性教学纲要的核心内容,包括统计专业本科生应该掌握的基本技能和应该修读的主要课程,然后分析了我国统计类本科专业教育存在的问题,并提出了在大数据时代改进我国统计类本科专业教育的几点建议。     

人才项目中的“压龄”申报现象研究——长江学者奖励计划和国家杰出青年科学基金案例分析

以历年入选的长江学者特聘教授和国家杰出青年科学基金获得者为研究对象,分析了人才项目中的压龄申报现象及其政策启示。研究发现：长江特聘和国家杰青中的压龄申报现象均很突出;压龄申报比例有上升趋势,与人才项目中的"大龄化"趋势紧密相关;"双一流"建设高校、西部地区、工程技术和生命医药领域的压龄申报比例偏高。研究建议国家应针对不同学科领域、不同年龄层次的科研人员实施差别化的人才政策。     

Boomer Matters: Responding to Emotional Health Needs in an Aging Society

This study explores baby boomer-aged adults’ experiences accessing an emotional health program (EHP) in a community-based seniors’ center, examining differences between it and an older cohort of users. Data generation includes client-based surveys (n=118), in-depth qualitative interviews (n=20) with client users and professionally-trained counselors (n=2), and a focus group with peer support service worker (n=14). Key findings suggest EHPs as a preventative strategy to address familial abuse, the need for education and support on sexual health and dating, and the need to combat ageism to improve access. Community-based seniors’ centers as a cost-effective approach to health promotion is also highlighted.     

大学生思想政治理论课教学改革的成效和启示

2005年中宣部、教育部制定了高校思想政治理论课的课程设置方案（＂05＂方案）,该方案的实施,掀起了新一轮的思想政治理论课的教学改革。阶段回顾近几年以创新精神推动思想政治理论课的教学改革的实践,有着三方面的深刻启示：必须坚持和弘扬理论联系实际的马克思主义学风,贴近实际、贴近生活、贴近学生,这是发挥思想政治理论课在大学生思想政治教育中主渠道作用的关键;坚持高校公共政治理论课程与教学内容的与时俱进,这是思想政治理论课保持蓬勃生命力的根本;努力造就一支高素质的教师队伍,充分调动他们的积极性、主动性和创造性,是进一步推动教学改革,加强和改进思想政治理论课教育教学的保证。
