安然事件对完善我国公司治理的几点启示

本文通过对安然事件暴露出美国在公司治理方面所存在的缺陷的分析 ,认为我国公司治理 ,必须在借鉴美国经验的基础上 ,结合中国具体国情 ,从强化独立董事独立性、健全激励机制、加强金融中介机构参与公司治理几个方面来不断完善和创新     

Getting with the (evidence-based) program: An evaluation of the Incredible Years Parenting Training Program in child welfare

This study evaluates four group sessions of the Incredible Years (IY) Parenting Training Program used for the first-time in two child welfare agencies in New York State. Few studies have examined process and evaluation outcomes of evidence-based parenting programs in child welfare. Qualitative staff interviews and surveys on parenting behaviors were used to examine program processes, improvements in parenting behaviors, and participant satisfaction. Program participation was associated with less parental distress, defensive responding, dysfunctional parent-child interactions, child difficulty, total stress, and greater empathy and social support. The effectiveness of this evidence-based, parent education program in the context of a child welfare population, as well as implementation challenges and recommendations, are discussed.     

A multi-site evaluation of Parents Raising Safe Kids Violence Prevention Program

The Parents Raising Safe Kids Program (PRSK) is a research-based manualized violence prevention curriculum designed to decrease coercive parenting behavior, encourage positive discipline, increase media violence literacy, and increase child development knowledge. This study is a multi-site pre-post comparison evaluation of PRSK's effectiveness with diverse parents, including those who are incarcerated, in drug treatment and both English and Spanish speaking. Results indicate that PRSK was successful at improving media violence literacy, positive parenting behavior, child development knowledge, anger management, and prosocial problem solving. Additionally, PRSK was especially efficacious for Spanish speaking participants, who improved more than English speakers. Due to the need for appropriate and cost-effective programs for underrepresented groups, these results add to the growing evidence base supporting the use of PRSK with diverse parents. PRSK is effective in educating caregivers about nonviolent parenting behavior and child development. It is flexible, focuses on parents of very young children, and is cost effective. The program costs a fraction of other evidence-based practices yet statistical effect sizes for change over time are comparable.     

广西高校贫困生勤工俭学分析

勤工俭学不仅是高校贫困生解决经济问题的一条重要途径,也是高校培养人才的关键环节。通过发放问卷的调查方式,了解广西高校贫困生勤工俭学现状,发现其中存在的问题,并为之提出一系列行之有效的解决方案,进一步促进广西高校贫困生勤工俭学体系的发展和完善。     

京津风沙源治理工程效益分析

国家林业局经济发展研究中心对京津风沙源治理工程进行了连续7年的跟踪监测,结果表明:京津工程进展顺利,工程在林业建设、农业措施、水利设施以及生态移民等方面的任务完成情况良好.但是,工程建设也面临一些问题:缺少管护经费、林牧矛盾突出、林业产出缺少政策扶持等.针对以上问题,提出增加管护经费、调整工程规划等政策建议.     

Goal-oriented evaluation for program planning: A case study

Utilizing a contextual model of evaluation, a goal-oriented method was applied to the Health Psychology program, a doctoral program in its early stages at the University of California, San Francisco. There were five stages involved in implementing this method: (1) clarification of the goals and objectives of the program, (2) prioritizing the objectives, (3) judging the attainment of the objectives, (4) organization of faculty/student input, and (5) feedback to the program management. All faculty members and students were invited to participate as selfevaluators in this evaluation effort. The results indicated that there were significant differences between the faculty group and the student group on their ranking and rating of the importance of specific educational and resource objectives. A one year follow-up was obtained by interviewing the director of the program to assess the impact of the project on program planning. The advantages and disadvantages of the approach were discussed in light of this attempt to analyze a new educational program.     

School dropouts—They are not what they seem to be

Twenty-one ninth grade students at Carrigan Middle School identified as potential dropouts were divided into three equal groups, two experimental (GI and GII) and one control (GIII). The experimental groups were enrolled in the Positive Learning Program (PLP), a supportive program for potential dropouts. All groups were academically profiled for the past five years. All Ss retained their original major classes and teachers. The experimental groups, however, reported to the PLP teacher for homeroom and study. During these periods the students received academic and social support. Academics, attendance, and behavior were measured over three marking periods. The results showed significant improvement in academic performance. Although significance was not realized for attendance and behavior, there was a significant interaction indicating a change over time. It was also found that profiling could be used as a measure to identify potential dropouts.     

哈萨克斯坦应对极端主义的举措探析

近年来哈萨克斯坦极端主义蔓延的原因主要表现在两个方面：一是有其深刻的国内、外背景,二是伊斯兰教的政治化倾向。哈萨克斯坦从强化安全力量、严惩恐怖主义,压缩极端主义生存空间,与国际组织开展合作,加强对宗教组织的依法管理,以社会工程为媒介积极抵制极端主义等方面采取应对措施。使宗教有法可依,加强交流与合作与宗教知识的教育普及等,对我国应对极端主义具有一定的积极意义。
