一个耕地抛荒的解决方案:农民工回乡创业

研究目的在于分析利用农民工回乡创业缓解耕地抛荒的可行性。结合需求层次理论、人口流动理论,构建的数学模型分析了耕地抛荒的原因、回乡创业的可行性。研究结果表明,城乡收入差距导致的人口流动是目前耕地抛荒的主要原因;追求自身价值实现的动机是农民工回乡创业的主要原因。最后,给出了具有可操作性的政策建议。     

四川藏区的媒介形象建构——基于《纽约时报》《人民日报》的比较研究

以《人民日报》《纽约时报》近30年来有关四川藏区的报道为依据,分析其对四川藏区的形象建构。主要发现,在报道主题上,《人民日报》涉及社会、政治、文教、军事等各个方面,《纽约时报》主要关注社会方面;在报道立场上,《人民日报》以正面报道为主,《纽约时报》以负面报道为主;在媒介形象上,《人民日报》建构的四川藏区形象比较正面和丰富,《纽约时报》建构的四川藏区形象负面并且单一。     

论《村民委员会组织法》中的自治与民主

《村民委员会组织法》没有规定行政村的公法人地位,没有规定专属于行政村的、与国家事务相区别的村务,赋予行政村的法律手段、人员手段和物质手段均不足,而且规定了国家机构对村权力过多的干预权,这些都影响了真正的村自治。在村民民主的规定上,一方面规定了公社式的直接民主制,一方面又规定了与公社民主相冲突的分散式经济制度和家长式的管理模式,对各村组织的权力规定也非常不协调。     

Family participation in child protection practice: an observational study of family group meetings

Over the past two decades, child protection authorities internationally have begun to implement models of family participation in child protection decision‐making. Debate exists about the extent to which these models promote family involvement in decision‐making. While a significant body of research on family and professional experience and perceptions of models of family participation in decision‐making has emerged, there has been little observational research of these approaches. In this paper, we report on observational data from 11 family group meetings (FGMs) in a child protection context in Queensland, Australia. Under Queensland child protection law, these meetings are referred to as an inclusive process for child protection decision‐making and planning. We draw on observational data to analyse how family inclusion in child protection decision‐making is facilitated, or limited, by the FGM process. We consider tensions in the realization of a participatory ethos in child protection services systems and discuss what practitioners can practically do to enhance family participation in child protection decision‐making.     

Including children with special educational needs in physical education: has entitlement and accessibility been realised?

The return of the Labour government to power in 1997 brought an increased focus upon inclusive education for children with special educational needs (SEN). Alongside this there has been a desire to enhance the opportunities young people have to access physical education (PE) and school sport. Previous research has shown that children with SEN often have fewer opportunities to access physical activity due to physical, social and emotional barriers to participation. With the advent of a new Con–Lib-Dem government in 2010 and a planned review of inclusion policies and practices, this paper examines the extent to which children with SEN have arrived at utopia in relation to their entitlement and access to PE. The paper identifies four themes central to successful inclusive PE, whilst suggesting there is still some way to go for children with SEN to have the same opportunities in physical activity as their non-disabled peers.

从重大公共卫生事件透析“90后”的现代健康观念

伴随社会经济的迅猛发展和城市化步伐的加快，生态破坏、环境污染等问题日益加剧。生物界自然平衡状态的打破导致近年来我国各类公共卫生危机频发，处于公共卫生事件的高发期，“90后”作为一个特殊的青少年群体，由于其身心机能发育尚未成熟，不但是此类事件中最主要的易感人群，更容易产生各类心理障碍与行为问题。现代健康观念的树立和综合健康素养的提升在这一阶段尤为关键。研究发现，“90后”青少年的健康观念趋于科学理性，健康自我管理能力和习惯养成有待提升：对健康危机的忧患意识较强，危机状态下的心理承受能力较弱；具备一定的公民责任意识和行为自律意识，但面对一些较为复杂的社会现象，现代法制观念和人文关怀意识仍有所欠缺     

Content Analysis

Content analysis is presented as a research technique that social work researchers and practitioners can use to study developments and trends in social work practice, the status of social work knowledge building, the redirection of relevant policies, and accountability procedures in social service agencies. Methodological issues such as developing categories, defining the unit of analysis, sampling, and determining reliability and validity, are described and evaluated. It is concluded that content analysis provides a common basis for researchers and practitioners to document the processes and outcomes of the profession.     

Measuring non-linear dependence for two random variables distributed along a curve

We propose new dependence measures for two real random variables not necessarily linearly related. Covariance and linear correlation are expressed in terms of principal components and are generalized for variables distributed along a curve. Properties of these measures are discussed. The new measures are estimated using principal curves and are computed for simulated and real data sets. Finally, we present several statistical applications for the new dependence measures.
