Accelerated life test sampling plans for the Weibull distribution under Type I progressive interval censoring with random removals

This paper considers the design of accelerated life test (ALT) sampling plans under Type I progressive interval censoring with random removals. We assume that the lifetime of products follows a Weibull distribution. Two levels of constant stress higher than the use condition are used. The sample size and the acceptability constant that satisfy given levels of producer's risk and consumer's risk are found. In particular, the optimal stress level and the allocation proportion are obtained by minimizing the generalized asymptotic variance of the maximum likelihood estimators of the model parameters. Furthermore, for validation purposes, a Monte Carlo simulation is conducted to assess the true probability of acceptance for the derived sampling plans.     

大学与县域幼儿园伙伴合作的实践研究——基于幼儿园发展规划的制订与实施

幼儿园发展规划的制订和实施,已经逐渐成为我国学前教育管理的重要工具。在幼儿园发展诊断与改进过程中，大学与幼儿园建立伙伴合作关系，以幼儿园发展规划为基点与主线，思考区域学前教育发展的新道路。本研究以东北师范大学与四川省蒲江县幼儿园合作为例，呈现区域幼儿园制订与实施幼儿园发展规划的行动研究过程。     

Coastal Adaptation Planning in Fairbourne,Wales: lessons for Climate Change Adaptation

ABSTRACT

Adaptation to climate change is emerging as a central objective and policy frame for coastal communities. This paper examines recent climate change adaptation efforts in the UK, centring on the case of Fairbourne, Wales. The village is facing the long-term prospect of flooding and inundation due to the impacts of sea level rise. The recent Shoreline Management Plan for the area has recommended realignment of the coast and eventual decommissioning of Fairbourne. The paper draws on a qualitative research methodology of interviews, policy review and observation to narrate the case and provide key insights and lessons for planners working in environmentally vulnerable coastal settings and managing climate adaptation processes.     

Rolling horizon master production schedule performance: A policy analysis

In this paper, a simulation experiment has been developed to examine the combined influence of the design, inventory and environmental factors on the cost performance of a rolling horizon master production schedule. Specifically, a 2 5 factorial design was used to examine the effects associated with three rolling schedule design policies, one inventory policy and one environmental condition of forecast error on MPS cost performance. The study was based on actual data from a paint company. Results suggest that the choice of appropriate lot-size and inventory policies have a significant influence on MPS costs and that there are indeed important interactions between these policies and other design factors of a rolling schedule.

欧盟三大科技计划,即框架计划、尤里卡计划和欧洲科技领域研究合作组织,在促进区域科技项目合作方面积累了丰富的经验,具体表现在:项目的进行采取多成员国合作的形式;主要经费来源于各国政府;管理机构简练高效;遵循一定的原则.而我国科技资源分布不均衡,科技计划项目合作深度与广度均有待加强.借鉴欧盟经验,促进我国跨行政区科技合作,应加强对落后地区科技发展的扶持;制定跨行政区科技合作的条文规定;加强人力资源合作和共享、积极推动全国范围的科技合作;建立跨地区科技计划项目合作协调机制.     

The performance of the income protection system for older adults in Ecuador and future challenges

The objective of this article is to analyse the performance of Ecuador’s pension system and the challenges it will face in the future. Over the last 13 years, the pension system has made significant advances in terms of coverage and adequacy. However, demographic ageing is straining the financial sustainability of the contributory scheme. In this context, a number of public policy areas are identified, in terms of parameters and structures, which, together with the expansion of non-contributory coverage, could provide a more equitable and sustainable scheme.     

Double and group acceptance sampling plan for truncated life test based on inverse log-logistic distribution

This paper introduces a double and group acceptance sampling plans based on time truncated lifetimes when the lifetime of an item follows the inverse log-logistic (ILL) distribution with known shape parameter. The operating characteristic function and average sample number (ASN) values of the double acceptance sampling inspection plan are provided. The values of the minimum number of groups and operating characteristic function for various quality levels are obtained for a group acceptance sampling inspection plan. A comparative study between single acceptance sampling inspection plan and double acceptance sampling inspection plan is carried out in terms of sample size. One simulated example and four real-life examples are discussed to show the applicability of the proposed double and group acceptance sampling inspection plans for ILL distributed quality parameters.     

四川省“十一五”期间“民族问题”研究述评

"十一五"期间,四川省"民族问题"研究已经形成了良好的发展势头,"民族问题"研究工作者和民族工作战线的广大工作人员,取得了令人瞩目的成绩,主要表现在学术机构、学术队伍和学科建设的新发展以及社科基金项目大幅攀升等方面。这些成就为"十二五"期间"民族问题"研究的发展跃上一个新台阶奠定了很好的基础。但是,也存在一些问题:国家社科基金侧重应用研究和对策研究,事实上削弱了基本理论的研究,"体"与"用"出现失衡,从长远而言,不利于我国哲学社会科学的繁荣发展;理论研究的失误和缺失势必带来政策与工作的失误。实事求是地总结近60年来我们民族工作正、反两个方面的经验教训,评估我们当前的民族问题和民族工作状况,改进我们下一步的民族工作是我们面临的一个重要课题。
