Social Problem Solving in High‐risk Mother–Child Dyads: An Intergenerational Study

This study examined the contribution of maternal childhood histories of aggression and social withdrawal to the prediction of mother–child social problem solving in the next generation. Fifty‐seven women (M = 37.32 years), previously rated (on a version of the pupil evaluation inventory) by their peers during childhood on measures of aggression and withdrawal, discussed conflicts with their 9‐ to 13‐year‐old children. Problem‐defining statements, solutions, and resolution strategies were coded using an observational measure developed by the authors. Maternal childhood histories of aggression and withdrawal predicted poorly sophisticated solutions in both mothers and children as well as antisocial solutions in children. Histories of withdrawal predicted solitary solutions in children as well as less guidance and structure during decision making. Findings suggest that mothers who were withdrawn, and those aggressive and withdrawn in childhood, display less sophisticated problem solving, which may be mirrored in children. Results have implications for the development of aggressive and withdrawn girls into parenthood and highlight a potential pathway for the transfer of risk.

国家意识维度下的语言观念

国家意识是指公民对主权国家（也可指民族国家）的认知、认同意识,既是一种政治意识,也是一种文化意识。语言观念是使用某语言的集团或个人对该种语言的价值评价和行为倾向。语言观念与国家意识互为作用,对国家意识的形成及发展有着能动作用。在现代社会,树立正确的语言观,对国家的安全和发展至关重要。     

李调元《逸孟子》论析

李调元是清代四川著名学者,其著作《逸孟子》一直未被学界所重视,此书的整理文献较少。经过对《续修四库全书》中《逸孟子》的整理,从作者、写作缘由、文章结构、文章内容等方面对《逸孟子》进行了较为全面的分析,借以发现其文学价值。运用对比的方法,将《逸孟子》中的文段与《孟子》一书中相关内容进行比较,对《逸孟子》的文本进行概述,并肯定了《孟母传》一章的文学价值。通过对《逸孟子》与《孟子外书》的关系分析,阐明了《逸孟子》在孟子逸文研究方面的意义。

Climate Change,the Quadrilemma of Globalization,and Other Politically Incorrect Reactions

Abstract

Current global climate change negotiations face some contradictions that are not always addressed as they are considered politically incorrect. These include, first, the decoupling of commitments for planetary environmental policies with the actual national strategies. A relevant example is the Bolivian administration, which presents a strong rhetoric for biospheric Mother Earth Rights, but its national development strategies generate more environmental impacts and weaken enforcement at the local level. Second, the core ideas and beliefs that explain development varieties that generate climate change are deeply rooted, so changes in political ideologies, either from traditional ‘left’ or ‘right’, do not determine policies to effectively overcome climate change. Third, accumulation of scientific information is not enough to promote the necessary changes, because these deep roots conditioned perceived and acceptable alternatives. Fourth, this lead to tensions among the pursuit of economic financial globalization, the sovereignty of the nations-states, democracy, and the basement of global environmental conservation. This is a quadrilemma, because if one or two of these objectives are pursued, at least one other is violated. Nevertheless, international negotiations rest on wishful thinking that this is possible. Uncovering these contradictions is politically incorrect for many realms.

民族文化背景下中国古代女神命运的演变与地位没落

在世界各民族的神话传说中,女性神都具有十分显赫的地位。随着文明的演进,后天的道德规范、文化品格被超时空地投射到传说中的女性神身上,使远古的女神地位出现了集体没落现象,这在中国古代神话中表现得尤为明显。中国古代女性神命运的演变与地位的没落主要通过两种途径完成:神话的重组使女神丧失独立的政治与社会地位,从而使其命运发生逆转;仙道文化的滋生与渗入,使女性神纷纷由神界走向仙界,不仅导致神话内容变异,而且也改变了女性神的特质。
