“政治”语码系统的构建——《我嫁给了共产党人》的符号学阐释

菲利普·罗斯的小说《我嫁给了共产党人》描写了广播明星同时也是共产党人艾拉·林戈尔德传奇而悲剧的一生。小说以20世纪40年代末到50年代初美国麦卡锡主义白色恐怖时期为背景。表面上,小说是在对那一时期的政治事件进行批判,而实际上,作品将人物和故事情节都编织在一张叫做"政治"的网里,借由"政治"这个符号语码,表现出更为深刻的人性意蕴和时代反思。从抽象到具体,"政治"符码完成了整部小说的语码体系,以有限的形式使文本获得了更丰富的意义空间。     

个体与名教的统一--王弼名教思想探析

魏晋是个体自我觉醒的时代。王弼作为士阶层的典型代表,援道入儒提出“名教本于自然”的命题,倡导在尊重个体本性的前提下重塑名教的权威。道家的自然既是世界的运行法则也指个体的自然本性,它是个体与名教沟通的桥梁。个体既是名教的遵循者也是名教的载体,对名教有效力起到极为重要的作用。王弼名教与个体统一的名教思想的基本观点是：自然之性是名教存在的基础;自然之道是名教施行的方法;“性其情”是名教与个体统一的人格范式。个体安于名教,圣王施行名教,以及性其情的个体人格范式。个体与名教的统一,既可以维护个体本性又可使名教生命力持久不息。     

会话交际中的语码转换研究--以某校英语专业学生宿舍会话交际为例

通过对某高校英语专业10个宿舍日常会话交际中的会话实例进行观察和记录,并依据会话实例对英语专业学生宿舍交际中语码转换的类型、特征、发生原因、功能及影响因素进行全面分析和研究,进而提出可行性建议,以克服学生在学习英语的过程中进行语码转换时的影响因素。     

Construction of uniform designs for mixture experiments with complex constraints

Abstract

Mixture experiments have attracted increasingly attention due to their great practical value in production and living, while uniform designs over irregular experimental regions have become a hot topic in the area of experimental designs in the past two decades. Noting that the experimental region of a mixture experiment with q components under some constraints is in fact a (q ? 1)-dimensional geometry, this article proposes a new method for searching nearly uniform designs for mixture experiments with any complex constraints. Two examples with some tables and figures are given to illustrate this method.

公司社会责任的法律范围及规范设计

现代社会所讨论的公司社会责任的思潮,开始于20世纪30年代发生的关于公司和作为其受托人的管理者,是只对股东承担责任还是要对公司的所有利害关系人承担责任的论战。中外学者对公司社会责任的理解和表述实质上都可以归纳为法律和道德两个层面上的社会责任。公司社会责任当中的一部分是法律调整的范围,且法律层面上的公司社会责任的高低取决于生产力的发展水平。我国公司社会责任的规范设计应采用分散型立法模式,法律规范中应运用倡导性、任意性和强行性三种规范类型。     

一般人格权争议问题我见

从一般人格权的产生角度看,一般人格权只是在为法律明确列举之外的“其他人格权”落实一个请求权(特别是抚慰金请求权),并为法院裁判该类案件提供依据时创设的一个概念。一般人格权实际上是一种法律技术,它所体现的价值取向———对人格权进行全面保护———可以通过人格权立法的多元模式实现。如果我们坚持人格权立法的多元模式,从立法技术上不采纳一般人格权的处理方法,那么可以将人格尊严权与人格自由权视为个别(具体)人格权。将人格尊严权和人格自由权作为个别人格权,也能为人格权的广泛保护提供一个可操作的平台。     

Social relationships and shifting languages in Northern Thailand1

This paper explores how speakers’ understandings of the conduct of social relationships mediate changing and socially distinctive syncretic language practices in a Northern Thai community. Although a shift away from vernacular (Kam Muang) speech styles to Standard Thai was emblematically tied to young and urban speakers in nostalgic discourses, syncretic speech styles and metalinguistic discourses also reflected local and socially positioned understandings of institutional roles and social relationships. I argue that scholars of language change and shift should foreground the mediating role of social relationships in speakers’ uses and understandings of their communicative repertoires across multiple timescales.     

The Attitudes of Social Work Students Toward End-of-Life Care Planning

This study examined the attitudes of social work students toward end-of-life care planning, as well as their degree of willingness to engage in this area of social work practice. Factors associated with their attitudes were measured through structured surveys completed by 102 social work students (N = 102) at a school of social work in the southeast. Results indicated that these social work students tended to have positive attitudes toward end-of-life care planning in general. Moreover, these attitudes were positively associated with preference for pain relief treatment, higher levels of comfort when discussing death, more emphasis on self-determination, and apprehension of conflicts of self-determination. The results of this study underscored the increased societal need for recognition of personal preferences in end-of-life care, higher levels of comfort when discussing death, and an increased commitment of social workers' to maintaining the ethical principle of the client's right to self-determination in end-of-life planning. While this is not surprising, it points to a continuing need to re-assess where the field stands in its preparation of social work professionals who will work closely with people who are dying and their families.     

Nonparametric Kernel Methods with Errors‐in‐Variables: Constructing Estimators,Computing them,and Avoiding Common Mistakes

Estimating a curve nonparametrically from data measured with error is a difficult problem that has been studied by many authors. Constructing a consistent estimator in this context can sometimes be quite challenging, and in this paper we review some of the tools that have been developed in the literature for kernel‐based approaches, founded on the Fourier transform and a more general unbiased score technique. We use those tools to rederive some of the existing nonparametric density and regression estimators for data contaminated by classical or Berkson errors, and discuss how to compute these estimators in practice. We also review some mistakes made by those working in the area, and highlight a number of problems with an existing R package decon .
