新疆尼勒克县穷科克一号墓地古代居民的食物结构分析

本文对新疆尼勒克县穷科克一号墓地出土人骨中C、N同位素的比值进行了测定,结果显示,该墓地古代居民的饮食结构中以肉食类为主,植物类食物中以C类植物为主。     

The Harris Extended Exponential Distribution

A new lifetime distribution is proposed and studied. The Harris extended exponential is obtained from a mixture of the exponential and Harris distributions, which arises from a branching process. Several structural properties of the new distribution are discussed, including moments, generating function and order statistics. The new distribution can model data with increasing or decreasing failure rate. The shape of the hazard rate function is controlled by one of the added parameters in an uncomplicated manner. An application to a real dataset illustrates the usefulness of the new distribution.     

A matching prior based on the modified profile likelihood in a generalized Weibull stress‐strength model

Bayesian inference of a generalized Weibull stress‐strength model (SSM) with more than one strength component is considered. For this problem, properly assigning priors for the reliabilities is challenging due to the presence of nuisance parameters. Matching priors, which are priors matching the posterior probabilities of certain regions with their frequentist coverage probabilities, are commonly used but difficult to derive in this problem. Instead, we apply an alternative method and derive a matching prior based on a modification of the profile likelihood. Simulation studies show that this proposed prior performs well in terms of frequentist coverage and estimation even when the sample sizes are minimal. The prior is applied to two real datasets. “N”是近年来在青少年群体中高频出现的一个新词,其用法相当于数词(或数量形容词)和程度副词。通过超常变异的形式表达了强烈的主观情态,体现了“极量”的语义特征,以“N”为代表的青少年流行语在表述数量多少、级别差异和程度高低时,总是通过现有语言体系中某些词语的“移位”、不同认知范畴符号的“移域”或从不同语言体系引介形成的“占位”来构建新的表述体系,显现出模糊性、形象性、多变性特征。

RNA二级结构分析方法及在植物系统学研究上的应用

随着生物信息学的发展,对RNA二级结构预测的准确性大大提高,使得RNA二级结构作为系统学资料成为可能。由于RNA二级结构更为保守,与功能的关系更为密切,利用它可以构建出更为自然的系统树,本文从RNA二级结构的获得及应用方面进行了简要综述。     

CRITICAL PERIODS DURING CHILDHOOD AND ADOLESCENCE

We identify the ages that constitute sensitive (or critical) periods in children's development towards their adult health status, skills, and human capital. For this, we use data on families migrating into Sweden from countries that are poorer, with less healthy conditions. Late‐life health is proxied by adult height and other adult outcomes. The relation between siblings’ ages at migration and their adult outcomes allows us to estimate the causal effect of conditions at specific childhood ages. We effectively exploit that, for siblings, the migration occurs simultaneously in calendar time but at different developmental stages (ages). We find evidence that the period just before the puberty growth spurt constitutes a critical period for adult height and we find related critical periods for adult cognition, mental health, and education.     

A Causality Analysis of Economic Growth and Union Density in European Countries

In this paper, we analyse the relationship between union density and economic growth using a Granger causality analysis and shocks analysis with vector autoregression model. We find that the Granger causality goes from the growth rate to the unionization rate in four of the 11 European countries under study. France bucks the trend: it is the only country in which union density influences economic growth, moreover in a positive way.     

基于新型核与灰度序列的MGM(1,m,N)模型及其应用

雾霾是空气质量重要评判标准之一，对其进行准确预测能为相关政府部门及时做出正确决策提供理论支持，因此预测雾霾具有实际意义。本文针对区间灰数分布信息已知的序列，构建多个影响因素作用于多个系统行为变量的灰色MGM(1,m,N)模型。首先根据可能度函数计算得到区间灰数的新型核与灰度序列，然后对新型核与灰度序列分别建立MGM(1,m,N)模型以求得模拟值和预测值，最后通过还原得到区间灰数序列的上、下界。为进一步验证该模型的可行性，本文将该模型应用于雾霾相关数据并与基于传统核与灰度序列的MGM(1,m,N)模型进行比较，结果表明本文构建的新模型的模拟预测精度都较传统模型更好。
