英语语篇中的词汇衔接与词义解读

正确地理解单词或短语的含义是语篇解读的重要前提,而任何英语学习者在语篇解读时都不可避免地会碰到难以解读的词或短语。本文主要探讨词汇衔接手段在解决这一问题方面的重要作用。     

Serials Control for the Italian Union Catalog of Serials

Abstract

European and Italian libraries are strongly involved in efforts to facilitate access to European information resources. The Italian union catalogue of serials has evolved from a traditional catalog to a sophisticated resource that provides access to serials services. Serials control is the most recent service of the union catalog with features for end users and professional staff. The software is BASIS Techlib by ID Technology (Italy), affinity partner of Open Text (USA). The ability to customize features presents a very satisfactory, easy-to-use product that might be considered interesting for union catalogs in other countries. Serials Review 2003; 29:169–178.     

英汉衔接手段对比刍议——基于The Old Man and the Sea及两个汉译本的对比分析

基于The Old Man and the Sea及其两个不同译本的对比分析,探讨英汉衔接手段的异同。比较发现英汉衔接手段大体上归属于Haniday与Hasan对衔接手段的分类,但由于两种语言的表达方式不同,在具体行文时衔接手段的运用也存在一定的差异。     

《将进酒》的翻译对比研究

李白是唐代著名的浪漫主义诗歌的代表人物。他的诗歌语言平实,天真自然,不饰雕琢,却又强烈地表现了作者的自我意识与激昂的精神。《将进酒》是李白乐府诗中的代表作。对于这首诗,当代著名诗人、学者、翻译家孙大雨教授和著名哈佛大学教授 Stephen Owen(宇文所安)都对此进行了汉诗英译。以汉诗为基础,对这两首英文译诗从词句理解、修辞方法、意象和意境的创造、形关和音美、文体对比这五个方面进行了多文本的翻译对比研究。从中揭示了两个不同版本文本之间的优势所在。     

通信技术专业实验教学改革浅议

针对目前高等职业院校通信技术专业实验教学的现状,围绕人才培养目标,我学院对实验教学设备投入,实验教学内容安排作了一些改革,就如何提高综合实训教学水平总结了一些经验.并具体介绍了通过实验教学对提高学生硬件开发能力、软件开发能力以及操作维护能力所起的作用.     

Ethical grounds for public relations as organizational rhetoric

Organizational rhetoric is critically questioned for ethics of its strategic processes and aspirational goal of persuasive, inescapably self-interested influence. Such critique pits strategic engagement needed for self-governance against self-interested framing (spin) and other dysfunctions. This theoretical essay takes stock of research literature to evaluate the ethics of organizational rhetoric, as rationale for public relations, and justify shifting from a strategic functional to an ontological, agonistic view of public relations. Relevant literature justifies the ethics of fairness (which features regard for others’ interests) to guide rhetorical processes and prefer outcomes as societally responsible. From classical Greece to postmodern theory of agonism, analysis of rhetoric centers on self-governance: achieved by stakeholders addressing rhetorical problems in rhetorical situations to deliberate strategic legitimatization. The discursive role of public relations intersects ethics of fairness and rhetorical citizenship, advocacy and dialogue, discourse and engagement at individual and societal levels. Public relations should be linked to an ontological ethics regarding strategic means of rhetorical influence toward ends accomplished collectively by agonistic pursuit.     

移动设备应用于英语学习的调查研究

当前，移动设备在高校中非常普遍，利用移动设备学习语言也成为热点。为了解高校中移动设备辅助英语学习现状，对包头师范学院300名学生进行了问卷调查。结果表明：大多数学生认为移动设备可以作为一种学习工具，并已利用一定的移动设备进行英语学习。但很多人学习目标不明确，学习资源没有被充分利用；视觉疲劳、不易做笔记、阅读习惯的改变。...     

Sparsely clustered survival data: application to the evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of medical devices

The effectiveness and safety of implantable medical devices is a critical public health concern. We consider analysis of data in which it is of interest to compare devices but some individuals may be implanted with two or more devices. Our motivating example is based on orthopedic devices, where the same individual can be implanted with as many as two devices for the same joint but on different sides of the body, referred to as bilateral cases. Different methods of analysis are considered in a simulation study and real data example, including both marginal and conditional survival models, fitting single and separate models for bilateral and non-bilateral cases, and combining estimates from these two models. The results of simulations suggest that in the context of orthopedic devices, where implants failures are rare, models fit on both bilateral and non-bilateral cases simultaneously could be quite misleading, and that combined estimates from fitting two separate models performed better under homogeneity. A real data example illustrates the issues surrounding analysis of orthopedic device data with bilateral cases. Our findings suggest that research studies of orthopedic devices should at minimum consider fitting separate models to bilateral and non-bilateral cases.

等离子体中弹丸消融的CCD摄像

描述了在ＨＬ１ Ｍ 装置上氢弹丸注入时用高速ＣＣＤ 相机拍摄 Ｈα辐射照片的实验结果。得到了弹丸消融云图像、速度及轨迹。通过对照片的处理，获得辐射光强的空间分布。分析了弹丸轨迹发生弯曲及条纹现象，探讨了弹丸与等离子体相互作用的物理机制，为进一步在弹丸注入条件下用ＣＣＤ 测量等离子体局部磁场和电流分布打下了基础
