从后殖民主义角度分析肯尼亚第一位总统肯雅塔的寓言故事《丛林里的绅士们》,可以发现其作品对东方学立场上的＂他者＂形象的颠覆和强烈的民族文化、民族独立思想。     

新农村建设中的农村文化贫困解析

农村扶贫工作是新农村建设的重要任务之一。文化贫困作为贫困重要范畴之一往往被忽视。经济增长新理论已逐步从强调物质资本在经济发展中的作用,转而突出人力资本对经济进步的贡献。文化教育可以形成文化资本,对于经济发展具有重要的影响。文化扶贫主张从文化教育着手,注重于提高农民的整体素质,增强农民对社会转型期的适应能力。本文聚焦于农村的文化贫困现状,通过研究提出一些与农村文化扶贫相关的建议,为推进新农村建设提出一些新的思路。     

The Effects of Depressive Symptoms on Work Activities and Welfare Exit of Welfare Recipients in Korea1

The purpose of this research is to examine the link between depressive symptoms of welfare recipients and their work activity and welfare exit using a secondary dataset, entitled the Korean Welfare Panel Study. In 2000, the National Basic Livelihood Security System (NBLSS) was introduced to (i) ensure a basic standard of living for households in poverty, and (ii) promote work activity and welfare exit of the recipients. A considerable body of literature has reported that the policy outcome of the NBLSS is not a success. However, the reason for the low success rate is unclear. In contrast to studies in the USA, few studies in Korea investigated the effect of depression on welfare‐to‐work transitions. To bridge the gap in the literature, we examine the association between depression, work activity, and welfare exit using a logistic regression analytic method. The analytic results show that the level of depression (total score on the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale) was negatively associated with welfare recipients’ work activity and welfare exit, suggesting that depressive symptoms may be a significant barrier to promoting economic self‐sufficiency. Implications of the study findings are further discussed.     

民族心理承受力论析

民族心理承受力是民族成员对某种客观存在的心理适应力、容忍力的强弱程度。不同民族的心理承受力存在差异,我国各少数民族与汉族比较,心理承受力相对较弱。在社会转型和重大社会变革面前,较弱的心理承受力往往会表现为民族心理上的保守性、排他性和敏感性,并导致通过各种社会关系显现出的复杂矛盾,进而对民族关系的健康发展形成消极影响,这就决定了正确认识、科学对待民族心理承受力差异对于我国和谐民族关系的进一步发展的重要意义。     

SNA关于机构部门分类的修订与中国机构部门的调整研究

 本文对2008SNA关于机构部门分类的修订进行了梳理。对比了2008SNA和1993SNA在机构部门与机构单位内容上的主要区别,分析了中国国民经济核算体系关于机构部门分类所存在的问题,提出了机构部门相关核算方法的调整建议。     

按经济所有权原则记录国际贸易对国民账户的影响

 全文三个部分：第一部分阐述2008年SNA中的经济所有权概念;第二部讨论引入经济所有权概念后,海外加工货物和转手贸易处理的变化,以及新处理方法对于国民账户的影响;第三部分探讨引入经济所有权概念和核算原则后中国国民经济核算面临的问题。     

Choosing fields in an expansionary era: Comparing two cohorts of baccalaureate degree-holders in the United States and Canada

In an era of expanding postsecondary markets and heightened student and institutional competition, students’ field of study decisions may be becoming an increasingly important point of differentiation in the process of social mobility. Drawing on the two most recent cohorts of the Baccalaureate and Beyond and National Graduates Surveys, this paper examines and compares field of study choices among American and Canadian baccalaureate degree-holders. Consistent with existing research, gender remains an important and consistent predictor of field of study choices. In Canada, the analyses show some evidence that the gender gap for business and management is shrinking, but the engineering and mathematics gap remains significant. In the U.S. the situation was reversed, as the engineering gap shrunk and the business and management gap did not change across cohorts. Moderate family background effects, strong and consistent academic ability effects and growing academic aspiration effects were found across most analyses, lending support to theories that predict family background has direct and indirect effects on higher education choices.     

GPs and Contracts: Bringing General Practice into Primary Care

This paper argues that the terms on which GPs entered the NHS, as self-employed contractors, have proved remarkably resistant to the managerial pressures which have come to dominate other sections of the National Health Service. However, this traditional mode of financing and organizing the delivery of a key element of the National Health Service has become increasingly incompatible with wider health policy objectives—the development of an integrated network of good-quality, equitable and well-coordinated primary and community health services which are responsive to local needs. Furthermore, primary health services have themselves come to play a crucially important role in securing other strategic changes in the wider health policy arena, such as securing and sustaining a shift in the traditional balance between hospital and community-based health services and controlling expenditure in a needs-led service. The paper argues that, notwithstanding the change of government, the 1997 NHS (Primary Care) Act and the White Paper "The New NHS" are both integral to the achievement of wider strategic health policy objectives, such as improving the quality and coherence of services, and increasing professional accountability for the financial consequences of clinical decisions. However, the greatest significance of these and other related measures is that they shift the emphasis of health policy from commissioning and purchasing by primary care to commissioning and contracting for primary care. They thereby extend the exposure of GP-based services to managerialist scrutiny and control.     

唯物史观中“个人”概念的三维递进生成路径

"个人"是马克思恩格斯哲学中的一个重要概念。在一定意义上,这一概念是唯物史观建构的基础性概念。然而,学术界多在社会性维度下阐释这一概念,也即把"个人"放在其与社会的辩证关系中进行理解,对"个人"概念的理解存在着认识上的偏差和不足。马克思恩格斯的"个人"概念应该包含这样两层内涵:其一,社会性的"个人"是马克思恩格斯哲学中"个人"概念的主要维度;其二,自然性的、社会性的和关系性的"个人"是依次递展的三个维度。只有将这两个方面结合起来,才能揭示出马克思恩格斯哲学中"个人"概念的真实历史面向。
