Implementation challenges for seafarers’ social security protection: The case of the European Union

In a world of competing flag States and short-term employment, enjoying the benefits provided by a social security system is a difficult, if not impossible, task for many seafarers. The Maritime Labour Convention, 2006, has abandoned the flag State principle in favour of the residence principle for that reason. This article addresses the implementation challenges of this approach by examining the European Union case, and highlights the advantages of the residence principle in terms of administrative efficiency and effectiveness, enhanced coordination between social security contributions and personal income tax in cross-border situations, and better use of State aid measures.

从20世纪50年代到90年代，人类学、宗教学、伦理学等学科相继出现了和生态学有关的交叉学科。寻求生态保护途径，似乎成了人类的一种未来选择。殊不知在历史上，生态保护早已是新疆各少数民族传统文化的已有之义。弘扬新疆少数民族生态保护意识将有助于人们重视信仰在环保中的协调作用，恢复生态保护的道德自律。     

Attribute networking: A technique for modeling social perceptions1

An original, network‐based technique is presented for modeling community members’ conceptions of local social space. Social categories derived from the model are used to investigate the social meaning of linguistic variation. The technique is first explained and then demonstrated using linguistic and ethnographic data from Worthington, Ohio, a Columbus suburb. Two linguistic variables are analyzed: (1)/l/ vocalization; and (2) the phonetic realization of the before vowel‐initial words. The results are discussed in the context of Columbus‐area urban sprawl and its perceived threat to Worthington's distinctiveness.     

抗旱剂一号在川西北地区小麦上的应用研究

通过对抗旱剂一号在川西北地区小麦上拌种和在不同时间以不同剂量喷雾两方面研究,结果表明:拌种能增加小麦三叶期、五叶期的次生根数、根长及其地上部的鲜、干重,能减少无效分蘖数,提高上林率。抗旱剂一号拌种、分蘖期和孕穗期喷雾均能增加小麦的单穗绿叶数。拌种最佳剂量为50kg麦种200g,喷施的最佳时期和最佳剂量分为分蘖期,每公顷300g。拌种和喷施对产量均无显著影响、其优势主要在前期。     

清代彝族地区土地买卖、典当和租佃分析

清代 ,彝族地区多种社会经济形态并存 ,口头约定或者立写契约作为土地买卖、典当和租佃的依据 ,体现出政治上的不平等以及经济上的剥削关系。汉族地主、商人到彝区买卖土地使一部分彝族“无田有赋” ,情况更加复杂。文章分凉山彝区和云贵彝区来说明这个问题。     

关于发展哲学社会科学的几点思考--学习中共中央《关于进一步繁荣发展哲学哲学社会科学的意见》

哲学社会科学与自然科学如车之两轮,不可残缺;哲学社会科学也是生产力;要真正重视和大力发展哲学社会科学,充分发挥哲学社会科学在经济和社会发展中的重要作用.     

A revised simplex algorithm for the absolute deviation curve fitting problem

The statistical properties of quasi-ranges in small samples from a gamma density are the objects of study in this paper.The methods of computing the "Coefficient MatrixnA(j,k), which plays a major role for computing moments and quantiles from such a density using high speed digital computers, are presented. Limited tables of central and non-central moments as well as tables of quantile values, are given. More extensive tables can be easily constructed by using the methods described here when the need arises. Also, a table of values for kurtosis and skewness is presented.     

夏竦应制诗研究

应制诗是应帝王之命而作的诗歌,在宋初很盛行。夏竦的身份和所处的地位决定了他的应制诗不仅数量多,而且有相当的特色。夏竦的应制诗内容广泛,诸如朝廷大典、战事捷报、自然天象、瑞物呈现、园苑饯行、读经阅史等等,可谓洋洋大观。在诗歌的艺术特色上,表现为富贵雍容的气象与典雅庄重的气度。这些诗作不但抒发了夏竦自身的情感,同时也反映了当时的时代环境、社会风气以及文化政策等诸方面情况。     

走向现代性与中国美育的深层建构--论曾繁仁先生的美育思想

本文从美育学学科建构与中国20世纪尤其是新时期美育学的学术进程为视角,论述了曾繁仁先生在美育学科诸多方面的理论建树,主要体现为"审美情育论"、"人生美育论"、"审美力"、审美现代性建构、"致中和"的审美教育论、20世纪的美育转向论及其中的生存论美育等,代表了新时期美育研究的主要实绩.     

谈思想政治教育中的科学思维

思想政治工作作为素质教育的一个重要组成部分,其科学性和重要性是勿容置疑的.但是在具体工作方法上,如何运用科学的思维方式,提高思想政治工作的科学水平,使其工作成效更富有时代特征和长远意义.长期以来,思想政治工作中那些凭经验、重说教,甚至个人意见为主的工作方式,是一种严重的科学缺位现象,忽略了思想政治工作的科学性一面.本文拟从两方面谈谈如何在思想政治工作中加强工作方式方法的科学性,以培养具有全面素质人才的需要.
