论“渐进式台独”的成因及其在台湾社会政治中的表现

2000年台湾大选后,“渐进式台独”活动日益猖獗,这些活动已经渗透到了台湾社会的各个层面,对祖国的统一大业造成了极大的危害。本文从历史的角度解读了“渐进式台独”的成因,并归纳了其在台湾社会政治生活中的表现。

国立台湾大学是中西方文华交汇体现非常明显的世界知名高校,其传统的多元文化环境、一流的师资力量、完善的中外课程体系、自由的国际化学术氛围等构建了台湾大学独具特色的人才培养体系。这对大陆人才教育培养改革有重要的启示：要形成文理兼修、国际化特征明显的课程体系;重视学生的基本素质,培养德才兼备的综合性人才;形成自由的学术环境和创新的校园文化;建立一支国际化的师资队伍和管理梯队。     

Privatising social housing in Taiwan

This article first reviews how the concept of privatisation has been referred to in the current restructuring of the social housing system, especially in the case of the UK. The term 'privatisation' is then examined in greater detail and its wider meaning is discussed. By using the network approach, privatisation in relation to housing can be understood in terms of the changing combinations of agents involved in providing social housing, which gives rise to the commodified impact on the distribution of social housing. By using the privatisation process of social housing in Taiwan as an example, three distinct combinations in terms of providing social housing are identified. With an increasing number of social housing units being provided by the marketised social housing model where private agents control the process of providing social housing, along with more market rules being involved in the provision and the partial removal of means tests in relation to the distribution of social housing, the privatisation of social housing development in Taiwan is having a major impact on equity.     

论实现两岸统一的文化基础

中华文化具有极大的包容性、极强的统一性和连续性 ,台湾自古以来就是中国领土不可分割的一部分。台湾地区的文化是中华文化的分支。它从来就不是独立的 ,在与台湾分裂势力进行政治、军事斗争的同时 ,也要与台独文化作斗争。以中华文化为基础实现两岸统一 ,可以跨越目前的政治障碍 ,也可以有力地打击台湾分裂势力 ,更可以在这个过程中实现中华文化的腾飞。     

Effects of Disease Type and Latency on the Value of Mortality Risk

We evaluate the effects of disease type and latency on willingness to pay (WTP) to reduce environmental risks of chronic, degenerative disease. Using contingent-valuation data collected from approximately 1,200 respondents in Taiwan, we find that WTP declines with latency between exposure to environmental contaminants and manifestation of any resulting disease, at a 1.5 percent annual rate for a 20 year latency period. WTP to reduce the risk of cancer is estimated to be about one-third larger than WTP to reduce risk of a similar chronic, degenerative disease. The value of risk reduction also depends on the affected organ, environmental pathway, or payment mechanism: estimated WTP to reduce the risk of lung disease due to industrial air pollution is twice as large as WTP to reduce the risk of liver disease due to contaminated drinking water.

民进党当局出于地缘战略的考虑,在东南亚重点推行“台独外交”。一些东南亚国家由于历史、地理、经济、文化等诸多因素的考虑,采取的是一种在大陆和台湾之间搞平衡的实用主义政策,因而在台湾问题上不断突破对中国的承诺,使双边关系受到影响。东南亚国家应与中国联手遏制“台独”,这不仅有利于地区的和平、稳定与繁荣,也符合东南亚各国的根本利益。     

战后20年文学论纲

以"战时8年文学"和"战后20年文学"的思路替代以往的"40年代文学"和"17年文学"的思路,能立足于完整意义上的中国文学,打通原先被分割成"现代文学"和"当代文学"的"两种时期"文学间的内在联系。在战后东亚现代性曲折展开的背景下,1945年至60年代后期的中国文学,构成了一个新的时期。这一时期的中国大陆、台湾、香港的文学各有其流变脉络,战后香港文学在意识形态对峙中开始其文化个性和文学品格的寻求,战后台湾文学突破国民党政治高压,在文学思潮引发的文学传承和转换、创作多元典律的构建等方面呈现出影响中国文学整体格局的重要走脉,战后中国内地文学则开始了原旨意义的延安文学理想和激进实践的延安文学理想间的复杂纠结。这些流变恰恰呈现出战后中国文学的共同性,并从整体上构成了一个进入"民族新文学的自觉自立"前的过渡时期,其蕴含的丰富课题及其实践,初步形成了中国文学分合有致的多元格局;所提供的文学范式,则包含着民族新文学面临政治困境、经济转型、社会变革作出各种应对的历史经验。这种视野中的40年代至60年代的中国文学史,其丰富性和历史传承性,提供了20世纪中国文学历史整合的重要基石。     

论台湾原住民和海南黎族文身习俗的异同及其功能

文章结合有关的文献史料及近代学者调查资料对台湾原住民和海南黎族的文身习俗进行比较研究认为 ,因为同处在原始社会形态社会背景之下 ,两地文身习俗在方法、图案、部位、年龄以及禁忌等方面所表现出来的文化特征必然是大同小异 ,但由于台湾原住民和海南黎族内部不同族群、不同支系之间社会经济发展存在不平衡性 ,决定了两地的文身习俗所体现出来的社会功能绝非单一 ,而是多元的。
