True Versus Spurious Long Memory: Some Theoretical Results and a Monte Carlo Comparison

A common feature of financial time series is their strong persistence. Yet, long memory may just be the spurious effect of either structural breaks or slow switching regimes. We explore the effects of spurious long memory on the elasticity of the stock market price with respect to volatility and show how cross-sectional aggregation may generate spurious persistence in the data. We undertake an extensive Monte Carlo study to compare the performance of five tests, constructed under the null of true long memory versus the alternative of spurious long memory due to level shifts or breaks.     

关联理论对称谓语的认知解读

关联理论认为在交际中,对交际意图的识别就是对言语意义的理解。交际中称谓语的使用过程就是称谓者(说话人)与被称谓者(受众或读者)通过关联图式的打破或激活方式来相互认知的过程。这就是关联理论框架下称谓语的认知解读机制。     

Out-of-Sample Performance of Discrete-Time Spot Interest Rate Models

We provide a comprehensive analysis of the out-of-sample performance of a wide variety of spot rate models in forecasting the probability density of future interest rates. Although the most parsimonious models perform best in forecasting the conditional mean of many financial time series, we find that the spot rate models that incorporate conditional heteroscedasticity and excess kurtosis or heavy tails have better density forecasts. Generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity significantly improves the modeling of the conditional variance and kurtosis, whereas regime switching and jumps improve the modeling of the marginal density of interest rates. Our analysis shows that the sophisticated spot rate models in the existing literature are important for applications involving density forecasts of interest rates.

社交语境下的各种英汉称谓语,往往不能按其字面意思简单理解,而必须依据语境提供的信息,揣摩其语用含义和语用功能选用恰当的称谓词语,表达称谓者的情感,传达称谓者的语气,体现交际者之间的身份,反映交际发生的特定场合,以达到称谓语在原语和目的语之间的语用等值。     

开关电源管耗计算及DC—DC电路分析

本介绍了电源技术领域中的后起之秀－开关电源的特点，基本工作原理及电路中功率晶体管，二极管损耗的计算方法并将开关电源与传统电源进行了比较，章还介绍了开关电源中常见的四种类型的DC－DC变换器并对其中两种进行详细分析，得出电路中各点电流电压波形，计算出电压变换比。     

试论《红楼梦》人物话语角色类型及其转换

论述了Thomas的话语角色类型理论,并以此理论为指导,分析了中国古典名著《红楼梦》中不同人物的话语角色特征,解析了话语角色在言语交际中的转换类型,并从人物的话语角色及其转换的角度,深入剖析了小说中的人物个性和矛盾冲突,从而指出Thomas语用理论对汉语语料具有一定的阐释力。     

开关电源电磁干扰的分析与抑制

开关电源由于本身工作特性使得电磁干扰问题相当突出。本文从开关电源工作原理入手,论述了开关电源电磁兼容问题产生的原因及种类,并给出了用EM I滤波器抑制开关电源电磁干扰的方法。     

Unemployment and economic psychology: An introduction

Starting from literature a short sequential scheme is being presented, including contextual and causal factors of employment, phenomenal aspects of unemployment, moderator variables, effects and lastly interventions and solutions.General aspects as well as more restricted aspects of unemployment as an area of research within economic psychology are mentioned. The contributions within this issue are discussed in connection with the scheme and the different aspects that were distinguished.
