Conceptualising the psycho‐emotional aspects of disability and impairment: the distortion of personal and psychic boundaries

Recent feminist critics of the social model of disability have pointed towards a danger that disability studies may give relatively little attention to personal and emotional aspects of disablist oppression and impairment. We argue for consideration of the centrality of the distortion of personal and psychic boundaries as a key aspect of oppressive relational dynamics surrounding disability. Within the observer the disturbing psychic evocations of disability, and related defences, are connected to the maintenance of dynamics of unreal, collusory and alienating modes of relating, which may deprive disabled people of the recognition of subjective experience and personhood. Skewed socialisation of disabled people, involving inter alia the protection of the emotional lives of others, as well as the reality of inaccessible material resources, contributes to the internalisation of disablism and the ideological recruitment of disabled people as complicit in their marginalisation.     

“四在农家”与贵州省社会主义新农村建设长效机制研究——以黔北地区旺草镇“四在农家”创建活动为实证分析个案

源于贵州省黔北地区的"富、学、乐、美""四在农家"创建活动,是西部欠发达、欠开发落后省区农民群众为改变家乡面貌、提高生活质量在实践中创造的新农村建设的一种模式,这一模式充分体现了党中央、国务院提出的"生产发展、生活宽裕、乡风文明、村容整洁、管理民主"建设社会主义新农村的美好设想。本文是课题组在实地观察、访谈、问卷调查的基础上,以黔北地区旺草镇"四在农家"创建活动为实证分析个案,探索"贵州省乃至西部欠发达、欠开发地区社会主义新农村建设的长效机制"研究报告的一部分。     

The Economic Partnership Agreements: Rationale,Misperceptions and Non‐trade Aspects

The European Union and the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries entered a new era in 2008. The Cotonou trade regime and the WTO waiver legitimising it have expired, and the long anticipated, and much debated, move to Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs) has begun. This article explains the background and analyses the ‘alternatives’ to EPAs, in order to tackle common misperceptions. Moving on from what has been the focus of debates, namely, the reciprocal liberalisation required under WTO rules, it sheds some light on the non‐goods trade aspects of EPAs which, while integral to economic policy, are inherently hard to quantify and often skimmed over in existing studies or addressed in ideological terms.     

对现代政治文明建设的层面分析

政治文明是社会主义现代化的重要目标,现代政治文明建设是一项多层面的系统工程。本文提出应从政治理念现代化、政治目标民主化、政治活动公开化、政治管理法治化、政治决策科学化、政治运转高效化、政治手段信息化、政治形象廉洁化和政治文化世俗化等九个层面全面推进我国的现代政治文明建设。

俄语"体"是众多语言中最发达的.因而我们用它来同汉语的体进行比较,可以总结出:汉语助词"了、着、过"与俄语动词体的对应不是二元的,而是多元的对应.从功能对比的角度分析,两种语言的互译应在考虑多种因素的情况下形式与意义兼顾.     

试论理论创新的几个基本问题

理论创新是社会发展和变革的先导,通过理论创新推动其他各方面的创新,这是我们必须长期坚持的治党治国之道。理论创新必须遵循科学的方法论原则,理论创新的最终目的是转化为实践创新。     

论妨害传染病防治罪

妨害传染病防治罪是97刑法规定的一种新罪。理论界对该罪的主观罪过形式尚存在三种不同的认识,包括故意说、过失说及混合说。从该罪的立法原意、行为方式及其与相关罪的关系来分析,该罪的主观罪过形式应为过失,是过失危险犯。鉴于"非典"时期的经验教训,也为了在理论上给打击妨害"非典"及类似传染病防治的行为提供支持,应该将本罪涉及的传染病范围扩大,改为"突发传染病",进一步明确本罪的行为方式,并适当调整量刑幅度。     

高校内部审计的拓展方向

内部审计在促进高校加强教育经费的管理、避免和减少损失浪费、提高使用效益、健全内部控制、保障高校资产的安全与完整等方面的重要作用已被广泛认同。但就内部审计所具有的职能和作用而言,其潜力仍然巨大,前景相当广阔。针对高校内部审计的现状及高校规模扩大和现代化管理的要求,提出我国高校内部审计应在原有的基础上向内部审计、道德审计、管理审计、教育效益审计、教育质量审计、绩效审计、战略审计、风险管理审计、专项审计调查、信息系统审计等十大方面拓展。     

A bio-psycho-social model of successful aging as shown through the variable “physical activity”

In this article, we present and explain a bio-psycho-social model of successful aging with subjective well-being as a criterion of a successful aging process. We focus on physical activity because it is a crucial behavior. Physical activity can support successful aging in two different ways: first, due to its physiological and cognitive effects, and Second, an older person can enhance subjective well-being (SWB) while being physically active. The model points out that an older person can regulate SWB. To do this, an older person should set and pursue personally and culturally valued goals. The strength of the association between setting a goal and goal pursuance, respectively, and SWB depends on the extent a person is able to satisfy psychological needs (autonomy, competence, relatedness). But, the decision as to which goal will be set and pursued does not belong to the older person exclusively. The bio-psycho-social model explains that the chance to enhance SWB is restricted by personal dispositions (e.g., physiological constitution, psychological factors) and social–structural constraints (e.g., predominant stereotype of aging, facilities especially for target groups).
