ICAST用于小区污水回用处理及自控与监测系统设计

设计了间歇／循环活性污泥技术(ICAST)用于小区生活污水就地回用处理及自动控制运行与监测水质的系统．以出水达到中水回用标准为目标，依据进水水质水量和ICAST生化反应池内溶解氧(DO)值，通过电磁流量计、水位继电器、电磁阀、PLC控制器等与计算机联接，自动设定各工艺阶段的运行参数，经济、安全、可靠地实现了污水回用处理运行和水质监测的自动化．     

联系汇率制传统调节机制的失灵、风险及其改进

90年代后期的金融危机对港币的冲击使理论界认识到,传统的联系汇率制并不是坚不可摧的,有必要对其作适当调整.本文介绍了联系汇率制的两个自动调节机制:物价--现金流机制和套利机制,并对其在运行中的失灵问题进行了阐述.本文认为,港币利率的相对变动是联系汇率制调节过程中的关键因素,利率是调节机制运行的基础.通过分析港币近年来的运行情况,本文检验了港币危机时的利率升水幅度,建议通过建立港币认沽制度来稳定利率、完善两个自动调节机制.

分析了以685数字报警接收主机为中心组成的联网自动报警系统。介绍了自行设计的系统软件的主要特点,以及用Visual Basic和ACCESS开发的基于微机的联网自动报警软件系统的关键技术。     

用朗金土压力理论探讨沉井在砂砾石地层中的有效纠偏

本文就沉井在砂砾石地层中,试用朗金土压力理论,提出在井墙外垒积土堆或捣挖沟槽的方法,促使井墙两侧土压力在瞬间发生交替变化,并产生有效反向差值,迫使沉井强行纠偏,平稳下沉,从而,拓宽沉井施工新技术。

Evaluating Stimulus-Stimulus Pairing and Direct Reinforcement in the Establishment of an Echoic Repertoire of Children Diagnosed with Autism

Many children with autism do not imitate adult vocalizations, an important skill in learning to talk. Pairing adult vocalizations with preferred stimuli has been shown to increase free-operant vocalizations but effects are temporary; thus, direct reinforcement may be necessary to establish durable vocal behaviors. In Experiment 1, directly reinforced echoic responses did not increase following stimulus-stimulus pairings in three children with autism. Similarly, pairings did not increase free-operant vocalizations in Experiment 2, a replication of Miguel et al. (2002). Experiment 3 demonstrated that shaping increased vowel frequency for one participant. Results suggest that variables are yet to be delineated that influence effectiveness of a stimulus-stimulus pairing procedure on vocalization frequency and acquisition of a verbal operant following such pairings.     

Modelling childhood malnutrition in Zambia: an adaptive Bayesian splines approach

Nutritional status of a child is an important determinant factor of his/her health and survival. Evaluation of child nutritional status is usually based on three anthropometric indices of height-for-age (stunting), weight-for-height (wasting) and weight-for-age (underweight). This paper is a case study that focuses on a new approach of estimating nonlinear effects. It models the dependence of probability of underweight children in Zambia on some covariates, some of which are metrical whose effects are assumed to be nonlinear and estimated nonparametrically through a Bayesian B-spline basis function approach with adaptive knot selection using the data set from the 1992 Zambia Demographic and Health Survey (ZDHS). For all the unknown functions, the number and location of knots as well as the unknown coefficients of the basis functions are estimated simultaneously using reversible jump Markov chain Monte Carlo (RJMCMC) techniques.
