诚信 ,是做人的基本准则和立身处世之本。在市场经济条件下 ,诚信也是竞争力。推进大学生诚信教育 ,是高校德育现实而紧迫的任务。本文从大学生诚信教育的必要性、道德诚信失范原因及标本兼治的途径等方面 ,对诚信教育进行了探讨。     

Some robust design strategies for percentile estimation in binary response models

For the problem of percentile estimation of a quantal response curve, the authors determine multiobjective designs which are robust with respect to misspecifications of the model assumptions. They propose a maximin approach based on efficiencies which leads to designs that are simultaneously efficient with respect to various choices of link functions and parameter regions. Furthermore, the authors deal with the problems of designing model and percentile robust experiments. They give various examples of such designs, which are calculated numerically.

Impact of Value‐Added Service Features in e‐Retailing Processes: An Econometric Analysis of Web Site Functions

We examine the impact of three classes of Web site functions (foundational, customer‐centered, and value‐added) upon e‐retailer performance. Using secondary panel data for 2007–2009 on operating characteristics of over 600 e‐retailers, our econometric analysis finds that only the value‐added service functions are positively associated with changes in e‐retail sales revenues across time. We also observe a decreasing marginal impact of deploying additional value‐added service features. To account for possible alternate explanations, we control for firm‐ and time‐specific fixed effects, merchant types, merchandise categories, and order fulfillment strategies. By further decomposing e‐retail sales revenues into Web site traffic, conversion rate, and average order value, we find that Web site functions affect e‐retail sales revenues mainly through their impact on Web site traffic. Our investigation demonstrates the empirical research usefulness of the Voss conceptual e‐service sand cone model. Our results identify for managers where to focus ongoing e‐retailing system development efforts, yet suggest that focusing too many retailing capabilities on exploratory and experimental value‐added service features may backfire, potentially leading to worsening e‐retailer performance.     

“小说”考辩

“小说”一词在《庄子》中首先出现，后为《汉书·艺文志》借用而成为诸子十家之一。“小说”一词的原始含义本来鲁迅先生早有定论，然而近些年又有学者提出异议。《庄子》与《汉志》中“小说”的含义有同有不同，均非指虚构性故事。但《汉志》“小说”所表现出来的某些文体特征，为后世虚构小说的发展提供了基础。

In this sequel to a previous discussion of minimum variance estimation (Bartlett, 1982), the gain with conditional estimation procedures is illustrated for the location parameter for (i) the rectangular distribution; (ii) a triangular distribution (typifying an asymmetric case). This note concludes with further remarks on the multi-sample and multi-parameter cases.

Asymptotic distribution of hotelling's trace for two unequal covariance matrices and robustness study of test of equality of mean vectors

Asymptotic expansions for the percentiles and c.d.f., up to terms of order $\text{1}\text{n}{}^2$ of the statistic $\text{T =m}\text{T}\text{r}\text{S}{}_1\text{S}{}^{-1}{}_2$, where mS₁ and nS₂ independently distributed W(m, p, Σ₁) and W(n, p, Σ₂) respectively, are obtained using methods similar to those of Ito [4], Chattopadhyay and Pillai [2]. These expansions hold when $\text{Σ}{}_1\text{Σ}{}^{-1}{}_2\text{=}\text{I}\text{+}\text{F}$ and$\text{|}\text{Ch}{}_{\mathrm{i}}\text{(}\text{F}\text{)| < 1}$. Tables of powers of T for p = 3 and p = 4 for m = 4 and various values of n are given and comparison made with the exact powers for p = 3. These powers are useful for the study of (i) the test of equality of covariance matrices in two p-variate normal populations and (ii) robustness of test of equality of mean vectors of l normal populations against the violation of the assumption of equality of covariance matrices.
