高校学生社团建设存在问题及解决对策

高校学生社团是繁荣校园文化的重要载体,是优化学生思想政治工作的有效途径,是实现校园人到社会人转变的有力手段。但由于机制和认识上的种种原因,当前高校学生社团建设存在着诸多问题,应从加强社团规范化管理、加大对社团的投入、加强社团自身文化建设方面采取对策,更好地发挥高校学生社团独特的育人功能。     

行业协会失灵的原因解读——从公益与私益冲突的角度

转型时期中国行业协会失灵的直接原因就在于其自身定位的公私冲突,其根源则在于政府和民众过分追求政治意义上的公益高于私益,忽视了行业协会作为市场经济的产物本身所固有的正当的私益追求。作为政府体制改革和经济体制改革的产物,行业协会定义的或公或私是民营化、市场化、非营利化三者之间博弈的结果,不具有任何褒贬意义。因此,继续纠缠于公益高于私益的行业体制改革已经走上了歧途。     

Limits and challenges for the participation of migrants' associations in state development policies in Morocco and Mexico

In many developing countries, migrants play an important role by supporting their local communities in their places of origin. An extensive literature has made visible their contribution to local development, thus revealing their involvement in the provision of social services or the construction of infrastructures. In this paper we illustrate the extent and scope of this task and the types of actions that migrants have started up in different countries of the world in general, and the cases of Morocco and Mexico in particular, to examine the achievements and limitations of both states' policies and migrants' associations in regard to their involvement in local development initiatives.     

Low-status work consequences on immigrant workers' organization: the cases of five immigrant groups in Athens

The article centres on the repercussions low-prestige work has on the collective organization and representation of immigrant workers. This micro-sociological analysis focuses on the cases of Egyptian, Albanian, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, and Philippine immigrants in Athens and how the frame of their work and their employment affects their participation in their immigrant work associations. Evidence from in-depth interviews proves that the majority of immigrants do not claim established workers' rights and do not seek membership in any unions. On the contrary, they rely on a network of friends and relatives for support and develop individual behaviours and alternative solutions to achieve survival and protection.     

工程伦理中的职业社团与伦理章程建设研究

工程职业社团及其伦理章程在促进工程伦理建设方面的地位和作用,主要取决于工程职业社团的性质和立场,因为它决定了其理想目标、运作模式以及制定伦理章程的目的和内容等。工程职业社团要在促进工程伦理建设方面发挥积极作用,它必须以公众的利益为己任,有符合时代要求的职业理想和道德理想,采取公正的立场来处理相关问题,加强自身建设,并以积极主动的态势为其理想竭尽全力。工程伦理章程要在促进工程伦理建设方面发挥积极作用,它就必须是为了实现职业理想及道德理想而制定,并包含道德底线和道德理想两部分内容,不断地从广度、深度、精度等方面使之得到改进和完善。实现职业理想及道德理想是工程职业社团及其伦理章程存在的根本。     

Professional Associations and Members' Benefits: What's in It for Me?

In this study we examine reasons that professionals become and remain members of professional associations. We looked at tangible and symbolic benefits that an association can provide to attract members. Satisfaction with these benefits was linked to overall membership satisfaction and intent to renew the membership. We also considered the role of customer service in shaping members' attitudes. Based on the responses of 1,980 members of a large international accounting association, we found that members who were satisfied with their benefits and with the quality of customer service reported higher membership satisfaction and intent to renew. We also found that professionals who were more involved in the association were more satisfied with it. Contrary to predictions, younger professionals were less concerned with the value of the benefits of membership. As expected, longer‐tenured members were more likely to consider maintaining their memberships. We conclude with a discussion of practical and research implications for the management of professional associations.     

Marketing of Voluntary Organizations as Contract Providers of National and Local Government Welfare Services in the UK

Voluntary organisations have become major providers of numerous social welfare services that previously were supplied by the state. In Britain, between 35 and 40% of the average human services charity’s annual income now derives from government (predominantly local government) sources, meaning that the acquisition of fresh contracts to undertake government funded work, in conjunction with the maintenance of good relations with government funders vis-à-vis current assignments, is increasingly important for ensuring a human service charity’s financial survival. An organization that wishes to obtain new contracts and to keep government bodies satisfied with its present activities will need to market itself effectively. This empirical study examined two aspects of charity marketing relevant to this requirement: the extent to which voluntary organizations applied the principles of strategic account management (otherwise known as key account management) to their relations with government funders, and the organizational characteristics (passion and commitment, low wage costs, etc.) that they emphasized to government bodies when making bids. A number of organizational variables (e.g., mission rigidity, strategic intent, short term operational focus) were employed in regression analyses as possible determinants of: (i) the degree to which a charity used strategic account management; and (ii) the genres of the organizational characteristics that it accentuated when tendering for government funded work.

How business associations use interorganizational networks to achieve workforce development goals: Implications for Human Resource Development

Abstract

This study uses data from a series of comparative case studies to analyse the interorganizational networks of business associations providing workforce development services in the United States. Three aspects of the networks were of particular interest, including (a) the form the partnerships took, (b) the trade-off to involving educational or community vs. business partners in providing workforce development services and (c) the strengths of associations in brokering services to adults or youth. The findings demonstrate that business associations work in intermediary networks or provide their services directly. The conclusions suggest that human resource development professionals should work more actively with local business associations to recruit, train and provide supports for workers in US firms.

关于网络募捐的监管问题

作为新生事物的网络募捐,虽然有着独特的社会救助效应,但也暴露出其在法律依据、主体确认、可信度、救助效果等方面存在的问题。要从分析网络募捐的定位和存在问题入手,探讨网络募捐的监管问题。要明确如何通过加快立法进程、加强审批和管理、加强网络监管、建立监督与评估机制等方面加强对网络募捐的监管,从而引导和规范网络募捐健康发展。
