结合新形势下采矿工程专业学生的新要求,通过用人单位反映,指出目前采矿专业毕业生在实践能力方面有明显弱化的现象。分析其中原因,提出应根据时代特点及企业需求不断改进实践教学模式、提高实践教学效果。本文着重从构建实践教学的"第二课堂"、强化实践教学环节、加强实验室建设以及提高指导教师实践教学水平这几个方面进行论述。实践效果表明,该方法可提高采矿专业学生实践教学的质量、加强学生实践动手能力。  相似文献

采用问卷调查法,随机抽取339名免费师范生,探讨个人自尊、集体自尊、社会支持对主观幸福感的贡献。结果表明:免费师范生主观幸福感、个人自尊和社会支持处于较高水平,集体自尊处于中等水平;个人自尊、集体自尊、社会支持与生活满意度和积极情感显著正相关,与消极情感显著负相关;个人自尊、集体自尊和社会支持对主观幸福感具有显著正向预测作用;个人自尊对主观幸福感的贡献最大,集体自尊次之,社会支持贡献最小。  相似文献

This paper explores the culture in which academic economists work, and tries to show how an appreciation of this culture makes their work more understandable and valuable to mainstream sociology. Economists are not interested in representing reality, but in constructing models that simplify reality to isolate mechanisms that account for observed phenomena. Economists have a distinctive epistemic culture, sustained by the discourse through which they talk and think about their work. This discourse mediates the relationship between the mathematical models they devise and the economic phenomena to which they apply. This study reveals economists' culture based on in-depth interviews with academic economists and an ethnographic study of economic departments in Israel.

This paper contributes to research examining class formation processes among capitalists by analyzing the fracturing of multiemployer collective bargaining associations in the U.S. coal mining and steel industries. The paper evaluates three theories of bargaining decentralization and offers an alternative account. Analyzing both the earlier stability of multiemployer bargaining and its subsequent decline, the paper attributes decentralization to changes in relationships of interdependence and power among unionized firms. While broad processes of economic restructuring gave rise to these shifts, social processes involving conflict and negotiation determined the specific direction of institutional change.

Although sociological research has examined how state symbolism binds citizens together and creates allegiance, little attention has been paid to how such symbols are selected. We investigate the adoption of state flowers in the United States. Seemingly unproblematic processes surrounding the selection of floral emblems can, under certain circumstances, involve heated symbolic politics. The default option of selecting a native flower, naturalizing the state, can be overcome by materialist or cultural interests that invest cultivated flowers with symbolic potency. In-depth case studies of three states where battles were waged over the state flower reveal that the battle lines were material and symbolic, demonstrating that apparently “authentic” representations of nature can be trumped by factional and subcultural interests.

The relationship among religion, education and social mobility in Scotland is analysed statistically using the Scottish Household Survey of 2001 . The large sample size allows much greater statistical power for this purpose than any previous source, and thus allows a more reliable assessment of claims that the stratifying effect of religion in Scotland may have declined. The questions investigated are as follows. What are the religious differences in the distributions of class origins and class destinations, in the movement between these (absolute mobility), and in the association of these (relative mobility, or social fluidity)? Do changes in social fluidity across cohorts vary among people with different religious affiliation? Are there religious differences in the association of origins and education, in the association of education and destinations, or in the role of education in social fluidity, and do any of these vary over cohorts? The conclusions are that, in younger cohorts, there is no religious difference in social status, and that in older cohorts Catholics are generally of lower status than Protestants and the non‐religious. Social fluidity does not, however, vary among religious groups, even for older cohorts, and does not change over time. The reason for convergence in social status of religious groups over time is probably the equalizing of educational attainment among the groups: there is no evidence for any of the cohorts that the labour‐market rewards to education differ by religion.  相似文献

Ethnographic research is invaluable for social movement research. Ethnographies of everyday participation in mobilization help to counter the popular image of social movements as coherent, well-bounded entities consisting of individuals committed to the goals of the collective. In this study of the Movimento Sem Terra (the Landless Movement, or the MST) in northeastern Brazil, I establish a more complete continuum of movement membership by analyzing two interviews (one conducted in 1999, the other in 2003) with a former plantation worker named Cicero who considered himself a member of the MST in 1999 but “didn't even know what to say about the movement” three years later. Cicero's interviews are noteworthy because he is not the sort of person typically featured in studies of social mobilization: he did not join the MST because of a passionate commitment (more because the movement showed up and he couldn't see a reason not to), and he was never convinced of the MST's primary ideals or methods. Cicero's interviews provide what Lila Abu-Lughod calls a “counter-discourse,” in which people make decisions that are contradictory, and incomplete, often made without explicit articulation or even understanding. Ultimately, I argue that incorporating this broader continuum will help us better explain movement personalities and trajectories.

蔡元培出任北大校长并聘请陈独秀担任文科学长 ,使当时主张教育救国与文化救国的思潮在北大相汇合。北大通过蔡元培的革新与新文化运动 ,迅速出现崭新的面貌 ,而其最主要的则是形成科学民主的校格、健全奋斗的人格、开新向上的学格与个性自觉的群格 ,从而使北大在教育上、思想文化上处于第一提琴手的位置 ,进而在具有划时代历史意义的五四运动中 ,水到渠成地成为中心与主导者。在回顾北大与五四运动关系时 ,注意寻本溯源 ,探讨更为内在的联系 ,对于理解当今科教兴国的战略决策当更有意义。  相似文献
