动生电动势公式与法拉第电磁感应定律关系的讨论

运用不同公式计算一道动生电动势习题,得到两种不同答案．本文分析了这道典型习题,指出了产生模棱两可的原因,并从法拉第电磁感应定律简便导出动生电动势的公式     

提高9Cr2Mo钢轧辊寿命的热处理工艺改进

通过对9Cr2Mo钢小型轧辊表层剥落失效的原因分析，将传统的中频感应连续加热喷水淬火，改进为中频敏感应同时加热，水→油双液淬火，并用碳化物超细化处理代替常规的球化退火＋调质处理的预处理手段，解决了该轧辊表层剥落的问题。     

Selecting IT applications in manufacturing: a KBS approach

The use of the right type of Information Technology (IT) applications or manufacturing systems is expected to usher in a competitive advantage. Selection of the right type of IT application is, however, a challenging task. When a company, with a given dominant process structure, emphasizes two or more competitive priorities, such as quality, product flexibility, etc., an unaided manager faces a complex decision problem in choosing from alternative IT applications available in the areas of product design through distribution. In this paper, we present a Knowledge Based System (KBS) that would assist managers with the identification of IT applications that are consistent with both the competitive priorities and the process structure. Validation of the system illustrates that its performance is consistent with the human experts, and it has the potential to facilitate effective and swift decision-making in the selection of appropriate IT applications that best match an organization's manufacturing strategy.

数据挖掘技术在保险客户关系管理中的应用

客户关系管理正逐渐成为现代企业的焦点,同时也是计算机科学中的一个活跃的研究领域.该文介绍了CRM的概念、体系结构.对CRM的核心技术数据挖掘的概念和它所用的主要分析方法进行了简要说明,以保险客户获得和客户流失分析为例,利用面向属性归纳法,说明了数据挖掘技术在保险客户关系管理中的应用.     

混合型单调算子对的不动点及其应用

提出了混合型单调算子对的概念,利用混合型单调算子对的定义及数学归纳法对混合型单调算子对的不动点的存在性及唯一性进行了证明,得出了混合型单调算子对的不动点若存在必唯一的结论。该结论应用于带奇性的一阶非线性常微分方程组的初值问题。     

Assessment issues in working with mothers who induce illness in their children

Mothers who induce illness in their children are abusing them. What must be uppermost in the mind of the child protection worker is the effect of the mother’s behaviour on the child. A good assessment of the mother is essential in making decisions about the child’s safety. Schreier & Libow (1993) estimate that nearly 10% of mothers who deliberately induce illness in their children ultimately kill them. The construction with the mother of a comprehensive genogram is an essential tool for assessment. Denial by the mother is usual and overt confrontation is usually not a helpful technique. Key assessment questions are: What are the mother’s real feelings about this child? Can the mother imagine what life will be like with a well child? Is this mother more than extremely anxious or overprotective towards her child? This difficult, complex work can arouse intense feelings in individual workers and within the assessment team. Good supervision is essential.

Hybrid methods for calculating optimal few-stage sequential strategies: Data monitoring for a clinical trial

Optimal batch-sequential designs are difficult to compute, even when sufficient statistics and relatively uncomplicated loss functions simplify the calculations required. While backward induction applies, its difficulty grows exponentially in the number of stages, while a recently developed forward algorithm grows only linearly, but involves a maximization over a rather flat surface. This paper explores a hybrid algorithm, partially backward induction, partially forward, that has some of the advantages of each.
