Approximations for Gibbs Distribution Normalising Constants

A key difficulty in the use of Gibbs prior distributions in Bayesian image analysis is the intractability of the normalisation constant. One approach is to perform off-line simulations which allow a calibration of normalisation constant against prior parameter. In this paper the reverse-logistic regression approach to calibration will be examined for various Gibbs distributions and explicit parametric equations will be proposed. A simple method for combining separate calibrations will be illustrated and the relationship between normalisation constant and image size will be explored with an empirical approximation proposed.     

Parameter estimation and design considerations in prospective applications of the � chart

The effects of parameter estimation on the in-control performance of the Shewhart X¯ chart are studied in prospective (phase 2 or stage 2) applications via a thorough examination of the attained false alarm rate (AFAR), the conditional false alarm rate (CFAR), the conditional and the unconditional run-length distributions, some run-length characteristics such as the ARL, the conditional ARL (CARL), some selected percentiles including the median, and cumulative run-length probabilities. The examination involves both numerical evaluations and graphical displays. The effects of parameter estimation need to be accounted for in designing the chart. To this end, as an application of the exact formulations, chart constants are provided for a specified in-control average run-length of 370 and 500 for a number of subgroups and subgroup sizes. These will be useful in the implementation of the X¯ chart in practice.

非对称共面线的特性阻抗

分析了两种不同模型的自由空间中非对称面西线,其共形变换技术得到了线电容的严格解;讨论了双曲正切变换有限厚度介质基片上的非对称共面线,得到了单层有限厚介质基片情况下非对称共西线的有效介电常数、单位长度电容和特性阻抗的闭合表达式。     

分组公平排队算法的仿真研究

对ＡＴＭ复接器和输出缓存ＡＴＭ交换机采用各种分组公平排队算法情况下的信元时延进行了仿真。仿真结果表明,ＳＣＦＱ对连接之间的隔离性比其他算法差;若一个ＣＢＲ速率组内没有流量超过其预约带宽的连接,则用 Ｐｅｒ＿Ｒａｔｅ＿Ｇｒｏｕｐｉｎｇ方式实现 ＷＦ２Ｑ＋和不用这种实现方式,从最大时延和平均时延来看,相差不大。提出了一个调度 ＣＢＲ、 ＶＢＲ、 ＡＢＲ和 ＵＢＲ的调度器结构,既能满足 ＣＢＲ对时延的严格要求,又能保证ＶＢＲ、ＡＢＲ和ＵＢＲ的吞吐率,同时还具有较低的实现复杂性。

Asymptotic ruin probabilities of a dependent renewal risk model based on entrance processes with constant interest rate

In this paper, the risk model with constant interest based on an entrance process is investigated. Under the assumptions that the entrance process is a renewal process and the claim sizes satisfy a certain dependency, which belong to the different heavy-tailed distribution classes, the finite-time and infinite-time asymptotic estimates of the risk model with constant interest force are obtained.
