Model selection for Lévy measures in diffusion processes with jumps from discrete observations

We deal with parametric inference and selection problems for jump components in discretely observed diffusion processes with jumps. We prepare several competing parametric models for the Lévy measure that might be misspecified, and select the best model from the aspect of information criteria. We construct quasi-information criteria (QIC), which are approximations of the information criteria based on continuous observations.     

川东北非物质文化遗产保护与开发研究

近十余年来,人们对物质文化遗产的研究比较重视,对非物质文化遗产的保护和开发研究却相对滞后。尤其是川东北地区的非物质文化遗产正遭到不同程度的破坏,甚至濒临灭绝。文章分析了川东北非物质文化遗产的主要类型,并针对这一现象提出了实现其可持续发展的开发方案和保护对策。     

运用微信平台创新高校思想政治教育的对策探析

微信具有信息资源丰富且分门别类、独特的的信息推送方式和功能多样性等特点,得到了大学生的青睐,为高校思想政治教育提供了新途径。然而,高校在应用微信开展思想政治教育中存在着观念滞后、人才短缺、管理不善等问题,对此,需要从更新观念、切入载体、提高素质以及完善管理和运行机制等方面加以改善,充分发挥微信的积极作用,提高大学生思想政治教育的有效性。     

社会主义新农村建设中的农业气象问题及服务措施

针对我国农业基础还比较薄弱的现状,对建设社会主义新农村中存在的气象灾害问题进行了分析,从农业气象灾害监测、预警、气象科技对农业生产指导、人工影响天气等八个方面,提出了为新农村建设的农业气象服务措施。     

Examples of doubly stochastic measures supported on the graphs of two functions

A doubly stochastic measure (DSM) is a measure μ on the unit square so that μ([0, 1] × A) = μ(A × [0, 1]) = m(A) where m is Lebesgue measure. The set of DSMs forms a convex set in the space of measures. It is known that DSMs supported on the union of two graphs of invertible functions are extreme points of that convex set (Seethoff and Shiflett, 1977/78 Seethoff, T.L., Shiflett. (1977/78). In general, there are few examples of extreme points in the literature. There are examples of so-called hairpins where the functions involved are inverses of each other, but there are also examples of the union of the graphs of a function and its inverse does not support a DSM (Sherwood and Taylor, 1988 Sherwood, H., Taylor, M.D. (1988). In this paper, for a function f in a certain class, we find companion functions g so that the union of the graphs of f and g support a DSM even though the union of the graphs of f and f-inverse do not.     

The exponentiated reduced Kies distribution: Properties and applications

Here we consider an exponentiated version of the reduced Kies distribution and discuss some of its properties. The parameters of the distribution are estimated by the method of maximum likelihood and illustrated with the help of certain real-life data sets. Asymptotic behavior of the maximum likelihood estimators of the parameters of the distribution is also studied by using certain simulated data sets.     

The effect of different data structures,sample sizes on model fit measures

In this study, our aim was to investigate the changes of different data structures and different sample sizes on the structural equation modeling and the influence of these factors on the model fit measures. Examining the created structural equation modeling under different data structures and sample sizes, the evaluation of model fit measures were performed with a simulation study. As a result of the simulation study, optimization and negative variance estimation problems have been encountered depending on the sample size and changing correlations. It was observed that these problems disappeared either by increasing the sample size or the correlations between the variables in factor. For upcoming studies, the choice of RMSEA and IFI model fit measures can be suggested in all sample sizes and the correlation values for data sets are ensured the multivariate normal distribution assumption.     

Copulas related to piecewise monotone functions of the interval and associated processes

In this work, we derive the copulas related to vectors obtained from the so-called chaotic stochastic processes. These are defined by the iteration of certain piecewise monotone functions of the interval [0, 1] to some initial random variable. We study some of its properties and present some examples. Since often these types of copulas do not have closed formulas, we provide a general approximation method which converges uniformly to the true copula. Our results cover a wide class of processes, including the so-called Manneville–Pomeau processes. The general theory is applied to the parametric estimation in certain chaotic processes. A Monte Carlo simulation study is also presented.     

高校科研经费管理中存在的问题及对策研究

近些年来,我国高校科研经费大幅度增长,科研项目种类日益繁多,给科研经费的管理提出了新的挑战。目前,我国高校科研经费管理中存在着各地各校虽宽严不一,但模式相同,缺乏区别管理,相关部门和责任人各自为政等问题。究其原因是责任意识缺乏和制度建设滞后。解决这些问题的根本出路是通过宣传教育提升相关部门和行为主体的责任意识。有效措施是实行区别管理制度,强化相关职能部门和课题责任人之间的沟通与协调,采取适度灵活的管理政策,有区别地适当提高项目组成员劳务费比重,实行项目主持人责任制。

社区图书馆在城市社区文化建设中发挥着重要作用,然而由于我国社区图书馆事业起步较晚,经验不足,在建设和发展的进程中还存在许多不足之处,文章详细列举了目前我国社区图书馆普遍存在的问题并阐述了应对策略。
