论广告的意义空间及其文化意蕴

随着广告传播活动在杜会各个层面的泛化,广告传播的效应已突破经济的范畴,而更具有深远的文化意义。广告传播活动,不仅其传播的信息对原有社会文化是一种再阐释,而且其传播活动的运作本身——即对有效性的极端追求,也影响到人的价值判断,从而广告传播本身就构成一种文化——广告文化。     

论行政问责制的柔性机制

我国实施行政问责制的方向已经明确,但实施行政问责制不仅需要相应的法规、规章等刚性机制约束,也需要行政问责文化柔性机制的约束。行政问责文化对于强化官员的责任感和自律意识、对于弥补刚性问责制度的“盲区”、对于培养现代民主社会的“公民意识”和建立现代责任政府具有重要作用。     

Parenting,Uncertainty, and Expert Advice: How Privileged American Families Work with Private Counselors in Their Children's College Race

This article uses privileged families who hire Independent Educational Consultants (IECs) as an instance to examine how privileged parents collaborate with individuals whom they consider educational experts to support their children in the college race. We argue that advantaged parents' anxieties about their children have created a market for IECs who provide expert advice in order to mitigate the uncertainties that these parents experience and to manage various goals that they want to achieve at an important turning point in their children's lives. Drawing primarily on interviews with parents who work with IECs, we introduce the concept of “collaborative cultivation” to analyze the processes whereby advantaged parents rely on the expertise and expert status of private counselors to cope with their and their children's vulnerability in the college race while at the same time preparing their children for the unknown future. The parental method of “concerted cultivation” reveals how elite parents rely on individuals they perceive as experts to establish “bridges” between their own social worlds and the academic worlds that appear to beyond their control. This bridging labor points to the myriad cultural beliefs enacted to justify the child‐rearing goals that privileged parents wish to accomplish by working with IECs.

知音文化是湖北文化的重要内容之一,具有丰富的内涵和情感力量。然而,历来对于知音文化的理解一直停留在知音故事层面,未能进一步深入。事实上,知音文化与楚地的风俗民情以及道家自然哲学之间具有深刻的渊源关系。时至今日,知音文化仍具有鲜明的现实意义与普世价值。     

多元文化主义对族裔少数群体权利的理论建构

多元文化主义关注的核心焦点是族裔文化多样性和族裔少数群体权利保护的问题,它的发展过程就是对族裔少数群体权利保护的建构过程。贯穿多元文化主义建构族裔少数群体权利的逻辑始末的线索就是族裔少数群体的三重身份问题:差异公民身份是多元文化主义建构族裔少数群体权利的事实基础,公共公民身份是建构族裔少数群体权利的政治逻辑,而文化成员身份则是建构族裔少数群体权利的道德空间。族裔少数群体权利不仅保护了群体内的个人自由,而且还可以促进群体间的平等关系,它是对公民权利的有效补充。多元文化主义建构族裔少数群体权利具有突破性的积极价值,同时也存在潜在的结构性危险,它的发展需要进一步明确方向。     

论赫哲族当代民族文化

本文在分析了赫哲族民族文化现状后指出,经过整合与重构的赫哲族文化具有多元性、现代性、亲合性、地域性和民族性的特征,是一种充满现代气息的民族文化。     

现代化进程中民族文化的嬗变与和谐民族文化的构建

在现代化进程中,民族传统文化遭受到前所未有的巨大冲击,发生了三种类型的嬗变,这是一个动态调整的过程,其结果是使民族文化适应现代化的发展方向,发生嬗变后的民族文化不同于和谐民族文化。现代化进程中民族文化的嬗变,可以说是一个被动的适应过程;构建和谐民族文化,可以说是一个主动的追求过程,它以发生嬗变的民族文化为基础,积极倡导民族和谐的价值取向,为构建和谐民族以及和谐社会提供智力支持。     

National culture and organisational culture in lean organisations: a systematic review

Despite the extensive literature suggesting that culture plays a key role in lean implementations, no previous review has focused on the topic. This study is a systematic review of the literature that synthesises over two decades of publications according to the levels of national culture (NC) and organisational culture (OC) and maps which cultural dimensions foster or hinder lean implementation. In terms of NC, this study shows that Japanese cultural traits might hinder lean, such as masculinity and power distance, hence avoiding the over simplification that lean is a country-specific management approach. In terms of OC, the literature review unveils a lack of consensus and underlines two paradoxes, namely the co-existence of both process and result-focused orientations and both normative and pragmatic approaches. This review ultimately offers a relevant agenda for lean research as well as a guide for managers who face the challenge of implementing and sustaining lean in their organisations.     

Examining the Nursing Home Physical Environment Through Policy-Driven Culture Change

A critical need exists to challenge approaches to nursing home care due to rigid organizational factors and hospital-like culture. It has been argued that resident care needs to move toward a person-centered approach by addressing the organizational, social, and physical environments in nursing home facilities, a process often known as culture change. In response to this need, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has created funding for pay for performance (P4P) nursing home incentive programs to allow nursing home providers to receive CMS reimbursements for culture change in the facilities. Through care staff interviews, site observations, and a document review, this qualitative study assesses the impact of a Midwestern state P4P incentive program in three participating nursing homes. Using an environment and behavior (E-B) policy orientation framework, this study examines culture change through a focus on policy, the physical environment, place attachment, and social and psychological processes in the study settings.
