对立统一的和谐理念观照下的跨文化翻译原则与策略

作为＂和谐＂理念的核心思想,＂和而不同＂的＂和＂与＂不同＂是对立的统一关系。以＂和而不同＂作为指导思想,跨文化翻译应尊重原作,尊重原语文化。为此,就要贯彻＂忠实第一,创造第二＂和＂内容第一,形式第二＂的翻译原则,采取＂异化第一,归化第二＂和＂直译第一,意译第二＂的翻译策略,只有这样,才能更充分、更有效地发挥翻译的文化传播功能。     

差异·冲突·融合——论“新移民文学”中的文化冲突

对不同民族文化价值观念之间的冲突的观照,是“新移民文学”创作的一个主要特点。本文借助“新移民文学”中的一些代表性文本,具体分析由不同的民族文化价值观念所导致的从日常生活到爱情、婚姻、性,从人际关系到心理层面等等诸多方面的差异给新移民所带来的影响,以及新移民在这种不同文化的冲突与融合的过程中的种种努力和无奈。     

Treating mental health problems in primary care: Discrepancies between therapist expectations and clients’ attendance

ABSTRACT

Models of collaborative primary health care were introduced in Ontario in 2005 with the goal of providing comprehensive care, including that of mental health, to patients. While the success of this model of health care delivered through Family Health Teams (FHT) has been established, evidence based guidelines to guide mental health therapists regarding the number of sessions needed to treat common issues such as depression and anxiety seen within this model is lacking. The goal of this study was to gain a better understanding of how therapists conducted therapy, including type of intervention, under a physician determined eight session cap. Questionnaires completed by the therapists after the first session and again when therapy ended, a focus group and a chart review were conducted over an eight month period involving a total of 147 patients. Several key findings were identified including the unanticipated outcome of a discrepancy between how many sessions were initially thought to be required by the mental health therapist compared to how many sessions were determined helpful by the patient. Conversely, it was also identified that eight sessions was insufficient to treat more severe mental health issues such as trauma. Such results suggest that the treatment of mental health issues within Family Health remains a little understood and explored issue, with the authors suggesting better ways of negotiating session caps reflective of mental health issues addressed within this model of care.     

A descriptive inquiry into the corporate communication profession in Europe

This paper explores the educational backgrounds, work activities, remuneration and job satisfaction of European communication professionals. Based on factor analysis of a sample of 1410 European communicators, five major work activities are identified: lobbying external constituencies, advising and reviewing policies, positioning the firm in the marketplace, and external and internal facilitation. Using analysis of variance between groups, we argue that some of the more technical work activities are predominantly conducted by female communication professionals, whereas managerial activities are predominantly performed by their male counterparts. As will be shown, while educational background does not differ between genders, salaries as well as job satisfaction do; likewise, there are differences in respect of educational background, salaries, and job satisfaction.     

中国传统法的地域性论略

中国历史上疆城辽阔 ,各地风土人情各异 ,对法文化有深刻影响。本文从政区变迁和地域差别的角度出发 ,反思对中国传统法既有研究的局限 ,在方法论上提出借助地域性视角研究中国传统法的切入点和步骤 ,并进行了初步的例示性探索。     

在华跨国企业中外员工薪酬差异的实证研究:基于相对剥夺理论

在华跨国企业中本土员工的薪酬绝对值普遍增加,与外籍员工(特指从国外派到中国的外籍员工)的薪酬差异正在缩小,但本土员工的不公平感并没有明显缓解。本文调查了来自11个在华跨国企业中的249名员工的薪酬状况,从相对剥夺理论的视角研究该现象。通过对收集到的有效数据进行多元方差和层级回归等统计分析,我们发现尽管本土员工和外籍员工的薪酬差异导致了本土员工的相对剥夺感,但本土员工工作动机的下降和离职意愿的增加并不显著。     

英汉新闻编译的“求同存异”策略

英汉新闻编译话语实践的复杂性,使得它无法被简单地归结为西方统治与本土抵抗这一后殖民研究范式,新闻编译策略也不能简化为对原作的归化或异化处理。发展了后殖民主义翻译研究提出的“杂合化”思想,提出“求同存异”编译策略以服务于新闻编译活动的目的,有利于不同文化意识形态之间的交流和协商。     

试论海德格尔对实体主义的超越

在现代哲学的眼光下,西方传统哲学是实体主义的。而海德格尔作为现代哲学的著名代表,他的哲学的基本工作就在于对这种实体主义进行超越。海德格尔对实体主义的超越主要表现为以存在论反对本质主义。具体采说,就是通过对“存在论差异”的阐明,通过对“此在”结构的分析,宣告实体理论的虚幻,从而向我们敞开那蔽而不明的“存在之光”。海德格尔对实体主义的超越具有重要的哲学意义。     

浙江省90年代区域经济差异变动研究

20世纪90年代浙江省经济发展十分迅速,但各地区的经济发展极不平衡。对此,文章从区域经济差异变动状况的分析入手,客观评价了各地区的综合经济发展能力,探讨了地区经济变动的原因,提出了促进区域经济协调发展、缩小地区经济差距的相应对策。
