提高高校图书馆读者服务质量的思考与建议

随着信息社会的迅速发展,人们获取信息的途径和方式也发生了很大变化,计算机网络技术、数据库技术被广泛应用,这对现代高校图书馆的管理提出了新的要求。文章从改善阅读环境、改进服务方法、提高从业者素质和技能三个方面对提高高校图书馆服务质量提出了建议。     

The Effects of the Facial Expression of Beneficiaries in Charity Appeals and Psychological Involvement on Donation Intentions

To increase the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns, many human‐need charities include pictures of beneficiaries in their ads. However, it is unclear when and why the facial expression of these beneficiaries (sad versus happy) may influence the effectiveness of charity ads. To answer these questions, an experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of the facial expression on donation intentions, while considering the moderating role of psychological involvement with charities. It found that psychological involvement with charities moderated the impact of the facial expression on donation intentions in that seeing a picture of a sad versus happy person increased intentions to give among participants with lower levels of psychological involvement, whereas the reverse was true for highly involved participants. The moderating effect of psychological involvement was fully explained by the perceived efficacy of one's donation. The findings not only contribute to our understanding of the effect of the facial expression of people pictured in charity appeals on donation behavior, but also suggest that nonprofits should tailor their ads to target potential donors with various levels of psychological involvement with charities.

“边地影像”是边疆少数民族民众纪录自身的非虚构创作。在朗西埃“可感性的分配”美学理论视野下,边地影像体现了题材选择的一视同仁和人性的解放,以平等维度的引入开拓了其艺术与政治价值。透过“自我他者化”的艺术操作,它改变边地的可感性的分配秩序。“客位视角”到“主位视角”和“参与拍摄”到“独立创作”的过渡所释放的乡野表达,成为评测其诗学力量的关键质素。同时,围绕“差异性”展开的影像再现常常导向“微小差异的自恋”,并在言语的过度中营造了某种“圣化构想”,进而使其差异政治悖论性地生成了新的可感性不平等。     

The impact of ‘being assessed’ by a disabled children's team: a personal reflective account

The body of ‘service user’ literature confirms the value of parental perceptions of child and family social work and the insight parents and others can offer. This paper lends my voice to the literature regarding parental perceptions, inspired by the work of Pamela Davies, who provided a personal account of the impact of a child protection investigation. This paper draws upon my experiences of being a father of two ‘disabled children’ and undergoing an assessment of need. This paper seeks to draw attention to issues of choice, power imbalances and the role of expertise. My personal experience of undergoing an assessment was that it was an emotionally fraught process, for the duration of the assessment, our family stress increased and we had a sense of having to ‘battle’ for the support we needed. As such, my personal experience fits well with the wider body of literature, which highlights the increased stress of caring for children with additional needs, the challenges of ‘fitting’ disabled children into the frameworks used to assess all children and the difficulty for parents and professionals in distinguishing between ‘normal’ parenting responsibilities and the additional responsibilities of caring for a disabled child.     

Statistical considerations associated with a comprehensive regulatory framework to address the unmet need for new antibacterial therapies

At present, there are situations in antibiotic drug development where the low number of enrollable patients with key problem pathogens makes it impossible to conduct fully powered non‐inferiority trials in the traditional way. Recent regulatory changes have begun to address this situation. In parallel, statistical issues regarding the application of alternative techniques, balancing the unmet need with the level of certainty in the approval process, and the use of additional sources of data are critical areas to increase development feasibility. Although such approaches increase uncertainty compared with a traditional development program, this will be necessary to allow new agents to be made available. Identification of these risks and explicit discussion around requirements in these areas should help clarify the situation, and hence, the feasibility of developing drugs to treat the most concerning pathogens before the unmet need becomes even more acute than at present. 通过拍摄关于非物质文化遗产传承纪录片《传承之路》的亲身经历,深入分析研究了民族纪录片的创作。从题材的选择、镜头语言的调度、纪录片的采访运用、故事性与真实性的分析和解说词的运用等五个方面,分析在拍摄有关民族题材方面纪录片时遇到的问题和解决的办法。     

1991-2010年我国道德需要研究概述

1991年至2010年是我国道德需要研究不断深入的20年,道德需要研究的相关成果被大量应用到我国道德教育理论体系建设和实践活动中。从整体上分析了我国在道德需要问题上的整体研究状况和主要的热点,在梳理相关研究基础上,探讨了目前研究存在的不足,提出今后需要加强研究的问题。     

医科院校学生英语学习满意度、需求分析及对策

基于对医科院校学生学习需求所进行的问卷调查,结果表明:EGP课程已不能满足学生需求,医科院校的英语课程重心应逐步转向ESP课程,同时ESP教学应主要由大学英语教师来承担,教学管理部门要重视大学英语教师跨学科知识的培训,为开设ESP课程储备师资。     

符号学理论视野中纪实摄影的真实性分析

我国对纪实摄影本体论和真实性的研究,很少从符号学分析入手,忽略了符号学语境下所潜藏着的价值。依据符号的直觉性、二重性、情感性和主观性,对纪实摄影视觉图像符号的真实性进行研究和探讨。     

我国居民高等教育支付能力及学费政策研究

作为求学成本重要组成部分的学费,其快速增长与群体支付能力不足之间产生了尖锐矛盾,而这将可能在一定程度上压制高等教育个人需求。通过对相关文献的研究可以发现,对学费水平与群体支付能力和高等教育个人需求之间关系的研究为制定学费政策提供了理论支撑,同时,在以学费调节高等教育个人需求及以完善的学费配套政策抵消学费水平过高的负面影响这两方面还有继续探索的空间。
