在18、19世纪英国郊区兴起和发展的过程中,中产阶级的家庭理想和宗教理想起到了重要的推动作用.一方面,中产阶级希望使家庭与工作相分离,希望女性可以完全投身于家庭事务当中,远离城市的公共领域;另一方面,他们又服膺福音派的主张,认为城市充满诱惑和罪恶,而乡村有利于宗教美德的培养.中产阶级日益倾向于在城市中心区从事各种经济活动的同时,居住在环境优美、道德纯净的郊区.因此,中产阶级的家庭理想和宗教理想成为近代英国郊区兴起的重要道德推动力.     

发达国家国际海底区域立法及对中国的启示

我国在对国际海底区域矿产资源的勘探、开发力度及保护等方面与世界海洋经济强国相比,差距甚远。美国、联邦德国、英国关于国际海底区域的国内立法各有特色,特别是这些国家在满足自身经济利益需求的基础上注重海洋生态环境保护,对我国国际海底区域法律制度的建立有诸多可借鉴之处———保障我国在国际海底区域之权益,当务之急是制定一部统一的涉及国际海底区域矿产资源勘探与开发事项的海洋基本法。     

Domestic Violence Service Providers’ Needs and Perceptions of Technology: A Qualitative Study

There is growing recognition of the need to better understand the intersections between the work of domestic violence service providers and technology. Professionals who work with clients impacted by domestic violence are increasingly using technologies across different aspects of their work, including communicating with other professionals and seeking information and resources via the Internet. The current study used qualitative data from two sources—individual interviews and two focus groups—to learn about domestic violence service providers’ needs and perceptions related to technology use. The results provide insights about technologies used currently, expected benefits of future technological advances, barriers to using technology, and participants’ self-rated levels of comfort with technology.     

Queering the Home

Abstract

In the West, the private sphere of the home is traditionally associated with the heterosexual nuclear family. Through social, cultural, and legal processes, the heterosexual bond has been constructed as central to the family home. Despite these dominant discourses, the home is also a space in which heteronormativity (or the unacknowledged assumption that heterosexuality is the natural and normal form of sexuality) may be subverted. This article considers how the domestic lives of lesbian and gay couples in England challenge the heteronormativity prevalent in dominant discourses of the home. Drawing on in-depth interviews with lesbians and gay men, the article continues to extend and build on the existing literature on queer domesticity by focusing on how lesbian and gay couples divide and understand domestic labor in their homes. The perceived normativity of coupled domesticity and childrearing means that on the one hand the lesbian and gay participants in this study could be seen to fit in with normative ideals of domestic family life. On the other hand, I show how these couples subvert heteronormative assumptions about gendered household practices through their approaches and attitudes towards domestic labor and parenting. In particular, the article focuses on the complex ways in which lesbian and gay couples destabilize traditional domestic gender roles and queer the spaces of the home through the seemingly unremarkable, mundane practices and negotiations of domestic labor and childcare.     

人民币汇率变动对国内物价的传导研究——基于投入产出时间序列表的分析

应用33个部门进口非竞争型投入产出时间序列表(1995—2011年),建立投入产出价格模型,考虑了汇率通过成本机制和替代机制的传导作用,量化分析人民币汇率变动对国内各类价格水平的传导作用。结果表明: 汇率变动对国内物价的传导效果不显著;汇率变动对不同部门产品价格的传导存在显著差别;汇率变动对国内物价的传导随着价格链条向下游延伸而逐渐减弱;通过人民币升值缓解国内通胀压力的作用效果非常有限;2013年人民币汇率变动引起国内CPI下降1.09%。     

Johnson's Differentiation Theory: Is It Really Empirically Supported?

Michael Johnson's differentiation of “types” of domestic violence has had a significant impact on courts and providers, in part because of its claim to an empirical basis. Unfortunately, the label “situational couple violence” has already been used by judges and evaluators to minimize abuse claims in custody cases. Johnson's repeated assertion that SCV is the most common form of domestic violence reinforces the marginalizing of domestic violence. But what do his data actually show? Here Professor Meier takes a close look at the research Johnson relies on and finds that it fails to prove his thesis. Rather, the data suggest that Johnson has it exactly backward: Control-based abuse is probably far more common than “situational” domestic violence.     

“家庭暴力”之法律概念解析

我国2001年修订的《婚姻法》虽然明确规定"禁止家庭暴力",但并未给予定义;随后《最高人民法院关于适用〈婚姻法〉若干问题解释(一)》虽对"家庭暴力"给予定义,但与国际公约等法律文件相比存在许多不足。这不仅大大削弱了反家庭暴力的力度,而且也不利于保护受害者的权利。由此可见,只有对家庭暴力的主体、客体、方式、程度和行为环境的范围进行深入分析,才能准确界定和在法律上表述家庭暴力的概念,从而为我国反家庭暴力立法提供参考。
