无声的抵抗与决绝的坚守——评刘克邦散文集《自然抵达》

刘克邦的《自然抵达》将自然作为一种写作境界与美学追求,从自然而然的生命感知出发,抵抗媒介话语对我们感知的规训,还原了生存世界本身丰厚的质地和多维的面相。他坚决抵抗各种“后”思潮对情感的放逐,坚持情感对于散文写作的本体性与本位性,把俯拾皆是但又极为不易处理的世俗情感写得自然、逼真、圆润与饱满,显示其对这种普通情感状态独特的把握与掌控能力。《自然抵达》是一种有态度的写作,刘克邦以一种决绝而不妥协的姿态叩问自我,针砭时弊,守望理想,传递正能量,这与当前那种将散文写作闲适化与矫情化,放逐价值立场的写作态度大相径庭。     

Privacy with public access: digital memorials on quick response codes

Quick response (QR) codes on gravestones are a relatively new global phenomenon, and the actual number of them is unknown. The placement of a digital gateway on a physical stone is a new form of mediated middle region and a challenge to the classic public–private dichotomy, and this study discusses in detail the implications of the QR-coded gravestones. While some cemetery visitors might consider the gravestone and the digital content private, the visible QR code is also an invitation to the broader public in the shared physical space. Building on privacy as a contextualized matter, the business interests of gravestone makers as well as 30 Danish memorials are analyzed. In a general shift toward the digital in contemporary memorial culture and a growing tendency to online sharing of the emotionally important, QR codes on gravestones are but one example of the ongoing negotiations of privacy and sharing in our digital society.

我国三次产业结构演进与宏观经济波动分析

采用HP滤波、VAR模型等计量分析技术,从三次产业增长率波动的角度,探讨1979年到2007年间我国三次产业结构的动态演进对国民经济增长短期波动的影响。实证结果表明:第二产业不仅对宏观经济产生显著的增长效应,还具有显著的滞后波动效应;而第一产业对国民经济增长的短期波动影响非常剧烈。第一、二产业对经济增长波动的影响是不断下降的,而第三产业的影响是不断上升的。     

Embodied labour in music work

This paper frames the work of performance as embodied labour in order to understand the contingent production of particular music performances. It is an interdisciplinary account that sits at the intersection of the sociology of work, culture and the body. The concept of embodied labour is developed with reference to the complex account of materiality – of bodies and things – present in Tim Ingold's account of skill. This material account of skill is used to inform use to develop already of well established conceptualizations of body labour: craft, emotional and aesthetic labour through a reading of how these dimensions of embodied labour make possible the work of performance.     

White-Knuckle Research: Emotional Dynamics in Fieldwork with Racist Activists

Current understandings of emotions as relational expressions rather than individual states have made it possible to reconsider the role of emotion in the research process. This article proposes two ways that qualitative research on social movements can benefit from greater attention to the emotional dynamics of fieldwork. First, by examining the strategic use of various emotions by informants as well as by researchers, scholars are in a better position to explore how informants and researchers jointly shape knowledge and interpretation in qualitative research. Second, exploration of emotional dynamics in interviewing relationships can be used as data to deepen understanding of both the interpretative process and of the emotional content of social movements. I examine these issues in the context of a life history project with activists in contemporary U.S. racist movements.
