玛丽·雪莱国外研究述评

玛丽.雪莱是当前英美文化研究中的一个热点,而国内有关她的研究尚处于起步阶段。为此,系统梳理了国外对玛丽.雪莱的研究,以期给国内学界有关玛丽.雪莱的研究有所启发和借鉴。     

论女性主义与翻译

女性主义翻译是近二十年来新兴的一派翻译理论,其鲜明的旗帜与激进的主张在学术界引起较大反响。文章从女性主义与翻译的相互关系角度,分析了两者间的相互影响,论述了女性主义与翻译相结合的原因,并指出其对传统翻译理论的颠覆及其局限性。     

论盖斯凯尔女性哥特小说中的幽灵、暴君和母亲

英国维多利亚时代女作家伊丽莎白·盖斯凯尔以当时流行的哥特文体，创作了短篇小说《老保姆的故事》《克拉雷会苦行修女》和《灰发女郎》等作品，塑造了痛苦的幽灵、专制的暴君和焦虑的母亲几种不同的人物形象，表达了她对女性命运的关注与思考。从女性哥特研究视角解读这些人物形象，可以清楚地看到：这几部一直未引起评论家重视的小说在人物塑造上很大程度反映了盖斯凯尔对男权社会的批判和对女性主义的坚持。     

Feminist power and its implications on Uganda’s malaria communication campaign

This paper examines power and its manifestation in Uganda’s “Stop Malaria Campaign.” It specifically questions the apparent radical feminism, which is conceptualized as a quest for power, and how such excesses drive implementation of the campaign. The paper explains data collected through focus group discussions and key informant interviews using feminist communication theory as informed by the critical ideas of feminism and power. These three ideas help to put into perspective: domination of the campaign by one gender, interpretation of the campaign’s objectives to suit that one gender, and communication methods used in the campaign. Analysis of the above three processes shows that men are the weaker gender in the malaria prevention drive, an idea that has clashed with the existing male chauvinism on which several families still thrive in Africa. A view that radical feminism should be seen as an organized form of power that needs to be checked if Uganda’s malaria communication campaign is to be implemented successfully is herein proposed, along with some solutions to the challenges.     

Feminist Christian Realism

While Christianity and feminism may seem at odds with one another, both make normative claims about justice and addressing the needs of those on the margins of power. This article explores what feminism contributes to Christian realism. The current revival of Niebuhrian Christian realism highlights how much it still has to offer as a theoretical underpinning for policy and governance. However, Christian realism remains wedded to masculinist abstractions and power structures, such as the balance of power, that are ultimately harmful to those on the margins. Thus, this article uses feminism to argue for a greater acceptance of vulnerability and obligation in Christian realism.     

“能指狂欢”中的女性问题——以“网络红人”的情爱与审美为例

在意义增值和意义消失同时进行也即所谓的"能指的狂欢"时代,人们对女性主义的发展给予了更多的乐观。文章以"网络红人"现象为突破口,提出"能指的狂欢"并不能带来女性更多的解放,甚至会倒退,网络时代的女性拥有了更多的自由,但并不能改变男性主掌的"话语权"。而任由自恋、价值虚无和性开放泛滥也不会给女性带来尊严与价值,而是离女性主义者最初的理想更加遥远。     

(Re)constructing Family Images: Stepmotherhood Before Biological Motherhood

Strong cultural values and ideals attached to women in families deem the role of stepmother as inferior to that of biological mother. Although biological motherhood is celebrated, stepmotherhood is stigmatized, and women who wish to become mothers but become stepmothers prior to having biological children may grieve the loss of images surrounding normative ideals of creating a family. Using a feminist family science approach, the purpose of this grounded theory study was to explore the experiences of women without children in their transition to stepmotherhood. Interviews with 23 stepmothers (aged 26–47) revealed that women engaged in an internal process of creating and then adjusting personal images of family life to accommodate their new family circumstances. The process of (re)constructing family images had implications for later adjustment to stepmotherhood. Notions of the motherhood hierarchy emerged to depict the unique experiences of women who became stepmothers prior to having biological children.

乔治·艾略特矛盾的女性主义观及其背景渊源

英国女作家乔治·艾略特杰出的成就使其被公认为维多利亚时期最伟大的女作家之一。但是，她对于女性主义的态度却十分矛盾，一方面支持女性在婚姻、教育和职业上争取自己的权益；另一方面则高度赞扬女性的克己、屈从和自我牺牲等品质。     

政治权力的反思与重构——基于女性主义国际关系理论视角

政治权力是政治学与国际关系等社会科学中的一个核心概念,其中权力可以视作手段、目的、关系过程与行为结果。女性主义国际关系理论对政治权力的认识、发现并批评了古典政治哲学与现实主义政治权力观的不足,在再认识的基础上,对政治权力的载体、目标和话语等进行了深刻反思,相应地从内涵、认知、目标等方面对政治权力进行重构。本文认为,政治权力的主体价值,是使政治权力的领导者构成得以重塑,而女性主义国际关系理论则推动了区域化与全球治理进程,促进了国际关系民主化。
