英语功能语法学与英语教学

不同于传统语法所提供的各种语法规则,功能语法学是一种非常丰富的语言描述方法,它关注语言在各种社会语境中使用的不同形态;并且还观察语言所承担的各种社会功能以及对读者或听众所产生的影响。它应当被当成是传统语法的丰富和补充。同时,功能语法提供给教师的是一种很有效的深入理解语篇的方法,并为提高教学质量提供了很多启示。     

广告英语中双关语的翻译

双关语的可译性一直是翻译界争论的热点。语言、文化及表达习惯的差异,使双关语翻译难以兼顾其双重含义。"功能对等"理论以译语读者为中心,注重译文在译语语言和文化环境中所预期达到的功能,为双关语的翻译另辟蹊径。对英语广告中双关语的翻译来说,译文只要能产生与原文相似的广告效应,能使译文读者获得与原文读者近乎相同的感受就是成功的翻译。

本文提出了影视翻译的重要性 ,呼吁翻译届对影视翻译的重视。作者概括了影视语言的五大特点和应遵循的原则与技巧。在坚持传统的“信 ,达 ,雅”翻译观的基础上 ,提出了影视翻译应以“达”(通顺 )为主 ,以译入语观众为目标的功能对等翻译论 ,以期为影视翻译提供一种新的理论视角和操作模式。

"受事 施事 vp"型主谓谓语句的形成和使用受到句法、篇章的制约.在句法上有强调、突出受事主语和强调、突出补语成分的作用.在篇章中,受事主语有衔接连贯、对比和开启下文的作用,衔接连贯的受事主语能够使文气顺畅;对比的受事主语带有话题焦点的性质;开启下文的受事主语可以使主题统一;施事主语有对比强调和开启下文的作用,对比强调的施事主语带有对比焦点的性质;开启下文的施事主语起到主题统一的作用.     

《红楼梦》语篇体裁标记语的英译

近年来《红楼梦》英译研究发展迅速,许多学者都从不同领域对其进行研究。但将功能语篇分析理论应用到《红楼梦》及其英译文的对比研究,国内外尚不多见。本文将以韩礼德系统功能语言学作为理论基础,从语篇分析的角度,以《红楼梦》原著及其杨宪益夫妇的英译本为语料,重点讨论《红楼梦》作为章回小说,其语篇体裁标记语在英译文中如何处理的。

以学界广为关注的“S（是）AV（（））的”句式为例，重点分析“（是）……的”类句式在语境、词汇和句法三个层面所显示的不同已然义特征，并以此为基础对国内外关于已然义“（是）……的”类句式的相关研究进行简要的评价。     

Discriminant coordinates analysis for multivariate functional data

Abstract

One of the basic statistical methods of dimensionality reduction is analysis of discriminant coordinates given by Fisher (1936 Fisher, R. A. 1936. The use of multiple measurements in taxonomic problem. Annals of Eugenics 7 (2):179–88. doi:10.1111/j.1469-1809.1936.tb02137.x.[Crossref] , [Google Scholar]) and Rao (1948). The space of discriminant coordinates is a space convenient for presenting multidimensional data originating from multiple groups and for the use of various classification methods (methods of discriminant analysis). In the present paper, we adapt the classical discriminant coordinates analysis to multivariate functional data. The theory has been applied to analysis of textural properties of apples of six varieties, measured over a period of 180?days, stored in two types of refrigeration chamber.     

Estimation and simulation of conditional hazard function in the quasi-associated framework when the observations are linked via a functional single-index structure

We consider the estimation of the conditional hazard function of a scalar response variable Y given a Hilbertian random variable X when the observations are linked via a single-index structure in the quasi-associated framework. We establish the pointwise almost complete convergence and the uniform almost complete convergence (with the rate) of the estimate of this model. A simulation is given to illustrate the good behavior in the practice of our methodology.     

数量体现述式的系统功能语法研究

系统功能语言学中的系统语法是体现性语法，语言被视为意义资源系统，而非封闭自足的规则系统。系统语法和阶与范畴语法的一个变化就是体现述式的引入，体现述式是对层际或层内体现关系的一种建模由操作项和操作符构成。系统功能语法主要识别了插入、排序、重合、扩展、预选等五种体现述式，本文基于系统功能语法对数量在体现过程中的体现述式进行跨语言的探索研究。      

The estimation of treatment effect for the censored bivariate data under the univariate censoring

This paper establishes a nonparametric estimator for the treatment effect on censored bivariate data under unvariate censoring. This proposed estimator is based on the one from Lin and Ying(1993)'s nonparametric bivariate survival function estimator, which is itself a generalized version of Park and Park(1995)' quantile estimator. A Bahadur type representation of quantile functions were obtained from the marginal survival distribution estimator of Lin and Ying' model. The asymptotic property of this estimator is shown below and the simulation studies are also given
