感性的觉醒与理性的匮乏——从冰心小说看“五四”启蒙主义文学的局限性

冰心的小说对"五四"文学的"觉醒"主题及其启蒙主义文化精神做了重要诠释。通过冰心小说,可以看到"五四"启蒙主义文学的特点及局限性。"五四"启蒙主义文学带有明显的青春文化特点,集中表现为感性生命的觉醒和理性精神的匮乏。二者之间的矛盾,形成了"五四"启蒙主义文学"人的觉醒"的困惑,以及由此而带来的迷惘、感伤情绪。     

《搜神记》之“杂传”论

<搜神记>通常是以"志怪小说"的名目为人们所接受,但事实上在<晋书>、<隋书>、<旧唐书>中都被列为史部"杂传"一类.由鲁迅先生<中国小说史略>出发追溯其为"杂传"之因由,并通过探讨干宝之经史观,认为<搜神记>足可为当时社会世相的实录.

This essay is a personal story, that also serves as my prelude to pandemic 2020, as well as my decision to issue a June 2020 Call for Papers on Group Work Stories About Pandemic 2020, that this Issue of the Journal launches.     

杨家将故事与水浒故事关系考述

杨家将故事和水浒故事极为类似：小说构成方面,杨家将小说和《水浒传》都是分段缀合结构,成书过程都与南宋时期的抗金斗争相关;人物渊源方面,杨志是杨家将后裔,鲁智深和杨五郎很相像,杨温的故事被《水浒传》吸收;具体情节方面,双方都有衅起良马、五台山参禅、征辽、还愿等内容,而且彼此之间明显有借鉴关系。考察双方的这些相似,有助于我们了解世代累积型小说成书过程的复杂性。     

论传统伦理在鲁迅小说叙事中的境遇

在理性伦理层面,鲁迅执着地批判和反抗传统伦理,但在小说叙事伦理中却对传统伦理的诸多方面有所担待,并且充满着不可排遣的紧张冲突,这既是思想、文化转型时代普遍人心秩序的反映,更是鲁迅个体伦理困惑的体现。     

When parents love and don't love their children: some children's stories

This paper discusses a small pilot study with Anglo‐Australian children aged 6 to 8 years. The children expressed through stories of what it meant for them when parents love and care for their children, and when they do not. Themes from stories of parental love and care included: relationships, shared special times, being safe and protected, and physical affection. Stories about parents who did not love or care for their children covered themes of abandonment, isolation and sadness. The study contributes an approach that can improve professional practice with children and early outcomes showing the importance of seeking children's perspectives in decision‐making about their welfare.     

试析20世纪美国短篇小说中现代主义的艺术特征

20世纪现代主义文学是世界文学史上一场特殊而复杂的文学大变革,它以其背离传统、鼎新革旧的艺术形式以及荒唐奇异的扭曲形象来折射现代社会中的人生百态。本文试图以海明威、福克纳等美国作家的短篇小说为例,探寻20世纪美国短篇所表现的现代主义艺术特征,旨在体现这一时期美国短篇小说在形式、结构、表现形式及语言等方面的多样性、新奇性和灵活性,同时也留给现代读者更深广和回味空间。     

“瘫痪”主题下《都柏林人》儿童篇中的叙事策略研究

在著名短篇小说集《都柏林人》童年篇的三个故事《姐妹们》、《遭遇》和《阿拉比》中,乔伊斯基于儿童视角,用精湛的语言和独特的结构展示了其别具风格的叙事策略。其中,以第一人称内聚焦叙事策略、话语空间及故事空间交替的双空间叙事策略最为突出,它们对童年篇故事的发展和推进起到了重要作用。基于这些叙事策略,结合叙事者的精神顿悟,乔伊斯在童年篇中生动展现了都柏林人宗教信仰的迷失、教学的无助和情感的未果,极好地契合了整个小说集的"瘫痪"主题。     

试论小小说的暗示艺术

暗示作为一种文学艺术创作技法已大量运用于小小说创作。这种运用暗示的手法在小小说的主题、人物对话、结尾、结构形式细节的描写中,都可以巧妙运用,从而作品有深刻的含义和很强的艺术性。     

“Grandpa was fatally administered by the Bulgarians1”: Family narratives,national identity,and state history

Grandparents’ World War Two (WWII) stories are emotionally powerful, intimate accounts of firsthand experience that can shape grandchildren's ideas of state history, nation, and identity. This effect, I argue, manifests most intensively in critical times when national history and identity are threatened. Such was the case when former Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev relayed a controversial version of Macedonian national history and identity in a TV interview. In reaction, many Macedonian citizens shared fragments of their grandparents’ WWII stories. This study analyzes several more detailed versions of these grandparents’ narratives in order to ascertain the formative power of family WWII stories over one's personal sense of national identity. To do so, it will examine the positioning practices of the present-day narrators, the grandchildren of WWII participants, focusing on the manners in which they interactively reproduce their own sense of national identity vis-a-vis-these stories.
