任务类型、任务难度对中国学习者语用标记语使用的影响——基于真实口语语料的调查分析

对抽样调查中的真实语料及英语为母语者的语料库对比分析表明:中国英语学习者在语用标记语的使用方面同母语者有很大的差别;任务类型、任务难度对语用标记语的使用有一定影响。研究结果表明:语用标记语的教授应该成为英语口语教学的重要内容。教师可通过选择认知负担适当的任务来操纵资源的分配,以最大可能地实现学生对于语用标记语的恰当使用和习得。

学校质量、受教育程度与收入

基于对2017年典型省市劳动力市场问卷调查数据的分析,深入研究学校师生比和类型不同对个人受教育程度及未来收入的影响。结果表明,一旦考虑控制能力和家庭背景因素,师生比对男性收入没有显著影响,但是师生比对女性（尤其是低能力女性）收入有显著影响。研究还发现进入选择性学校的人,尤其是男性会得到更高的收入。对于没有进入选择性学校的人而言,个体学校类型对收入的影响更大。     

Marshall–Olkin gamma–Weibull distribution with applications

Abstract

A Marshall–Olkin variant of the Provost type gamma–Weibull probability distribution is being introduced in this paper. Some of its statistical functions and numerical characteristics among others characteristics function, moment generalizing function, central moments of real order are derived in the computational series expansion form and various illustrative special cases are discussed. This density function is utilized to model two real data sets. The new distribution provides a better fit than related distributions as measured by the Anderson–Darling and Cramér–von Mises statistics. The proposed distribution could find applications for instance in the physical and biological sciences, hydrology, medicine, meteorology, engineering, etc.     

General results of complete convergence and complete moment convergence for weighted sums of some class of random variables

ABSTRACT

In the article, the complete convergence and complete moment convergence for weighted sums of sequences of random variables satisfying a maximal Rosenthal type inequality are studied. As an application, the Marcinkiewicz–Zygmund type strong law of large numbers is obtained. Our partial results generalize and improve the corresponding ones of Shen (2013 Shen, A.T. (2013). Maximum likelihood estimation,from doubly censored samples,of the mean of a normal distribution with known coeffucient of variation

Let x be a random variable having the normal distribution with mean μ and variance c²μ², where c is a known constant. The maximum likelihood estimation of μ when the lowest r₁ and the highest r₂ sample values censored have been given the asymptotic variance of the maximum likelihood estimator is obtained.     

Moment properties of estimators for a type 1 extreme-value regression model

A regression model is considered in which the response variable has a type 1 extreme-value distribution for smallest values. Bias approximations for the maximum likelihood estimators are pivm and a bias reduction estimator for the scale parameter is proposed. The small sample moment properties of the maximum likelihood estimators are compared with the properties of the ordinary least squares estimators and the best linear unbiased estimators based on order statistics for grouped data.     

The estimation of adopted mortality and morbidity rates using model and the phase type law: the Turkish case

Abstract

This paper aims to estimate mortality rate, morbidity-mortality rates of a chronic disease utilizing phase type law in the frame of two and three state processes. The application on commonly used mortality tables in Turkey are adopted to process to estimate the future mortalities with respect to phase type distribution for the purpose of justifying. Using one absorbing state, two and three state Models calculate the time until absorbing of the death and death by phase type distribution for each gender. Consequently, the 3-state probabilities in estimating the mortality-morbidity rates of IHD for Turkish population yield a significant information on the health management and pricing health insurance products.     

An Integral Bhattacharyya Type Bound for the Bayes Risk

In this article, some results are derived on stochastic comparisons of the residual and past lifetimes of an (n ? k + 1)-out-of-n system with dependent components. These findings generalize some recent results obtained on systems with independent components and provide some interesting results for a system with dependent components following an Archimedean copula. An illustrative example is provided.
