对成都市在“城乡一体化”改革中创新突破的调查和研究

城乡统筹发展的实质就是要协调城市与乡村的各类要素资源,打破城、镇、乡、村的脱节和工业与农业发展不平衡的格局,实现以城乡一体化为目标、以改革创新为核心、以群众利益最大化为宗旨、以市场化为动力、以政策为保障的城乡和谐与可持续发展。     

现代农业促进城乡一体化发展的内在机理及策略分析

现代农业是推进农业现代化、新农村建设的重要组成部分,是提高农业综合生产能力、增加农民收入、建设社会主义新农村的基础和关键,更是真正调整经济结构,转变经济发展方式,实现城乡一体化的核心。本文深入分析了现代农业推动城乡一体化发展的核心机制,在此基础上总结了发达国家在规模化、集约化、专业化、信息化、生态化等方面发展现代农业的主要路径,并提出了通过现代农业的发展推动城乡一体化的相关策略。     

The relationship between neighborhood racial concentration and verbal ability: An investigation using the institutional resources model

Relatively few studies examine the relationship between racial residential segregation and educational or cognitive outcomes. Using data from the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health and the institutional resources model of neighborhood effects, I investigate one account of how macrostructural arrangements between race, neighborhood segregation, and school quality interact to produce inequalities in test scores. Consistent with the institutional resources model, results suggest that school quality varies across neighborhoods based, in part, on their degree of racial concentration. Indeed, school quality and other school characteristics mediate the relationship between racial concentration and verbal skills, particularly among black males. These findings have implications not only for inequalities in cognitive skills among blacks across residential space, but also between blacks and whites given high levels of residential segregation in the United States. In sum, findings illustrate yet another way in which residential segregation contributes to, and not merely reflects, racial inequalities.     

Do taboo trade-offs explain the difficulty in valuing health and social interventions?

Persistent anomalies in the results of willingness to pay studies, despite improvements in measurement technique, challenge the assumption in economics that all sources of value are commensurable. Two sources of incommensurability have been identified: interdimensional incommensurability, which refers to the cognitive difficulty that people encounter when trying to assign a monetary value to health; and constitutive incommensurability, which arises when some forms of trade-off are regarded as ‘taboo’. In this paper we explore whether the notion of taboo trade-offs might explain some of the difficulties experienced in health-related willingness to pay studies.     

移动通信单向收费定价策略研究

随着移动通信业务的飞速发展,其收费模式和定价策略为世界各国所关注。本文从中国电信产业现状出发,对移动通信单向收费定价策略进行研究,结果表明:①网络外部性对移动通信市场有福利增加效果;②产业发展早期,可采取呼叫付费原则发展移动通信;③产业发展后期,可采取分离付费原则增加社会福利。     

QALYs versus WTP.

Quality adjusted life years (QALYs) and willingness to pay (WTP) are alternative measures of the value of reductions in health risk that are often used in evaluating environmental, health, and safety practices. Although both methods are based on individual preferences, the underlying assumptions differ. The different bases yield systematically different conclusions about the relative value of reducing health and mortality risks to individuals that differ in age, preexisting health conditions, income, and other factors. The choice of which method to use depends on judgments about what constraints should be placed on individual preferences and what factors should be considered in aggregating preferences across people.
