“行己有耻”的道德底线与中国伦理学的近代转型——论顾炎武道德伦理思想中的近代性因素

明朝的灭亡,不仅是中国传统社会经济、政治危机的总爆发,而且也是道德危机的总爆发。顾炎武以一种历史的自觉,深刻反思明王朝覆灭的教训,致力于探寻中国社会道德文明之重建的道路。其道德伦理思想具有三个重要特点:第一,他在中国思想史上第一次对传统社会的负面国民性作了全面而系统的批判,发近代学者“改造国民性”的思想之先声;第二,不像宋明道学家那样讲玄之又玄的高妙道德“境界”,而只给人们预设了一个“行己有耻”的道德底线;第三,他反对朱熹所说的对“狂者”要加以裁抑的观点,认为“大凡高迈亢爽之人易于入道”,主张带有个性解放意味的豪杰精神。这一切,都是顾炎武的道德伦理思想中的值得重视的近代性因素,是中国传统伦理学从道德理想主义向着经验主义或现实主义转型的重要标志。     

“无信息的规则“——结构主义叙事学

本文在重点对两大叙事流派之一的结构主义叙事理论的起源和发展进行梳理的同时,对结构主义叙事学在当今世界各国的发展及其在中国的研究现状作了概述,以期了解其局限与不足,把握其优点与长处,以促进国内的叙事学研究.     

道德哲学的可能性与限度

道德哲学可以做澄清道德概念及语句的工作,但对它是否能提供对道德规范的可靠论证或为其奠基则易受质疑。本文首先考察伯纳德.威廉斯(Bernard Williams)的质疑,然后借助最近发生的一个真实个案来分析和探讨道德哲学的限度和可能性,认为道德哲学不仅在道德原则规范的论证或奠基方面,而且在道德的动力和源泉方面大有可为,但道德哲学的确在道德实践方面也存在某种限度。     

STEIN'S METHOD AND THE BERRY-ESSÉEN THEOREM

Stein's method is used to prove the Lindeberg-Feller theorem and a generalization of the Berry-Esséen theorem. The arguments involve only manipulation of probability inequalities, and form an attractive alternative to the less direct Fourier-analytic methods which are traditionally employed.     

On uniform approximation of Poisson variates by normal ones

In this paper the accuracy of the normal approximation to the Poisson is treated from the viewpoint of direct approximation of Poisson variables by normal ones. The conclusions that are derived on the accuracy of this approximation lead (among others) to very useful results on confidence limits for the mean of a linear combination of independent Poisson variables; these latter are employed in precise determination of the composition of a mixture of radioactive isotopes by means of a scintillation counter.     

Nonparametric estimation of the limiting availability

The point availability of a repairable system is the probability that the system is operating at a specified time. As time increases, the point availability converges to a positive constant called the limiting availability. Baxter and Li (1994a) developed a technique for constructing nonparametric confidence intervals for the point availability. However, nonparametric estimators of the limiting availability have not previously been studied in the literature. In this paper, we consider two separate cases: (1) the data are complete and (2) the data are subject to right censorship. For each case, a nonparametric confidence interval for the limiting availability is derived. Applications and simulation studies are presented.deceased after the paper was accepted

研究了一类具有变系数和变偏差的一阶非线性中立型方程，建立了方程的所有解振动的Ｓｈａｒｐ条件，并给出了方程的线性化极限振动准则。
