In this article, we utilize a form of general linear model where missing data occurred randomly on the covariates. We propose a test function based on the doubly robust method to investigate goodness of fit of the model. For this aim, kernel method is used to estimate unknown functions under estimating equation method. Doubly robustness and asymptotic properties of the test function are obtained under local and alternative hypotheses. Furthermore, we investigate the power of the proposed test function by means of some simulation studies and finally we apply this method on analyzing a real dataset.  相似文献

In this article, we consider how to construct the confidence regions of the unknown parameters for partially linear single-index models with endogenous covariates. To eliminate the influence of the endogenous covariates, an empirical likelihood method is proposed based on instrumental variables. Under some regularly conditions, the asymptotic distribution of the proposed empirical log-likelihood ratio is proved to be a Chi-squared distribution. We investigate the finite-sample performance of the proposed method via simulation studies.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the ridge estimation of fixed and random effects in the context of Henderson's mixed model equations in the linear mixed model. For this purpose, a penalized likelihood method is proposed. A linear combination of ridge estimator for fixed and random effects is compared to a linear combination of best linear unbiased estimator for fixed and random effects under the mean-square error (MSE) matrix criterion. Additionally, for choosing the biasing parameter, a method of MSE under the ridge estimator is given. A real data analysis is provided to illustrate the theoretical results and a simulation study is conducted to characterize the performance of ridge and best linear unbiased estimators approach in the linear mixed model.  相似文献

In the linear regression model with elliptical errors, a shrinkage ridge estimator is proposed. In this regard, the restricted ridge regression estimator under sub-space restriction is improved by incorporating a general function which satisfies Taylor’s series expansion. Approximate quadratic risk function of the proposed shrinkage ridge estimator is evaluated in the elliptical regression model. A Monte Carlo simulation study and analysis based on a real data example are considered for performance analysis. It is evident from the numerical results that the shrinkage ridge estimator performs better than both unrestricted and restricted estimators in the multivariate t-regression model, for some specific cases.  相似文献

The aim of this article is to develop methodology for detecting influential observations in crossover models with random individual effects. Various case‐weighted perturbations are performed. We obtain the influence of the perturbations on each parameter estimator and on their dispersion matrices. The obtained results exhibit the possibility to obtain closed‐form expressions of the influence using the residuals in mixed linear models. Some graphical tools are also presented.  相似文献

In this work, a simulation study is conducted to evaluate the performance of Bayesian estimators for the log–linear exponential regression model under different levels of censoring and degrees of collinearity for two covariates. The diffuse normal, independent Student-t and multivariate Student-t distributions are considered as prior distributions and to draw from the posterior distributions, the Metropolis algorithm is implemented. Also, the results are compared with the maximum likelihood estimators in terms of the mean squared error, coverages and length of the credibility and confidence intervals.  相似文献

A multistage variable selection method is introduced for detecting association signals in structured brain‐wide and genome‐wide association studies (brain‐GWAS). Compared to conventional methods that link one voxel to one single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP), our approach is more efficient and powerful in selecting the important signals by integrating anatomic and gene grouping structures in the brain and the genome, respectively. It avoids resorting to a large number of multiple comparisons while effectively controlling the false discoveries. Validity of the proposed approach is demonstrated by both theoretical investigation and numerical simulations. We apply our proposed method to a brain‐GWAS using Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative positron emission tomography (ADNI PET) imaging and genomic data. We confirm previously reported association signals and also uncover several novel SNPs and genes that are either associated with brain glucose metabolism or have their association significantly modified by Alzheimer's disease status.  相似文献

In this article, we propose a new mixed chain sampling plan based on the process capability index Cpk, where the quality characteristic of interest having double specification limits and follows the normal distribution with unknown mean and variance. In the proposed mixed plan, the chain sampling inspection plan is used for the inspection of attribute quality characteristics. The advantages of this proposed mixed sampling plan are also discussed. Tables are constructed to determine the optimal parameters for practical applications by formulating the problem as a non linear programming in which the objective function to be minimized is the average sample number and the constraints are related to lot acceptance probabilities at acceptable quality level and limiting quality level under the operating characteristic curve. The practical application of the proposed mixed sampling plan is explained with an illustrative example. Comparison of the proposed sampling plan is also made with other existing sampling plans.  相似文献

In this work, we define a new method of ranked set sampling (RSS) which is suitable when the characteristic (variable) Y of primary interest on the units is jointly distributed with an auxiliary characteristic X on which one can take its measurement on any number of units, so that units having record values on X alone are ranked and retained for making measurement on Y. We name this RSS as concomitant record ranked set sampling (CRRSS). We propose estimators of the parameters associated with the variable Y of primary interest based on observations of the proposed CRRSS which are applicable to a very large class of distributions viz. Morgenstern family of distributions. We illustrate the application of CRRSS and our estimation technique of parameters, when the basic distribution is Morgenstern-type bivariate logistic distribution. A primary data collected by CRRSS method is demonstrated and the obtained data used to illustrate the results developed in this work.  相似文献
