"四老一小"社会医疗保障面临的困境和出路

分析了我国现行社会医疗保障制度的现状及困境,提出了一个特殊群体:夫妻双方都是独生子女的家庭,面临的"四老一小"的医疗保健,是其他社会群体所没有的特殊困难和问题。分担这些家庭医疗保健的重担,是继续坚持计划生育基本国策的需要,是对"四老"当年积极实施计划生育政策应有的回报,是社会无可旁贷的责任。率先解决"四老一小"的医疗保障具有现实可行性。     

The Victoria Climbié case: social work education for practice in children and families' work before and since

Based on their research into the Victoria Climbié Inquiry, the authors outline an analysis they undertook of literature which had made substantial comment on either the inquiry itself and/or the subsequent inquiry report. An overview of 18 publications is provided, with four categories of themes emerging. These themes are outlined and then connected with concerns the authors of the current paper identified in journal papers written 10 years or more ago. It is argued that the gap between recognition that society needs competent, well‐trained and skilled social work and other professionals to safeguard the lives of children and families and understanding of what education, training and employment support mechanisms are necessary in order for workers to become and remain well‐trained, skilled and effective, remains as wide as ever. The paper concludes with an outline of teaching approaches the current authors have adopted in pursuit of the kinds of learning opportunities they believe need to be put in place to improve professional practice in children and families' work. These include creative use of child abuse inquiry reports themselves, role plays and simulations and workshops designed to enhance critical reflection skills.

思想政治理论课教师职业倦怠是一种社会现象。其成因虽然是多方面的,但教师自我效能感的衰减却不容忽视。以提高思想政治理论课教师自我效能感为切入点寻求缓解教师职业倦怠方法:重塑理想信念,提升个体的自我效能感;建构社会支撑体系,促进个体自我效能感的发展;积极主动增强思想政治理论课教师自我效能感正面信息;改善思想政治理论课教师自我效能感形成与发展的内在要求。     

Turning irritation into teaching: professional responses to disputes amongst adolescents in Dutch family homes

ABSTRACT

In this article, we have focused on irritation as a discourse marker for professional foster parents to intervene in adolescents’ disputes. We were interested in how irritation leads to responses from people who are not the object of irritation themselves, but who intervene in the dispute, thus entering and changing the social situation. Four types of responses could be distinguished: 1) responding to the content of the dispute, 2) responding to the process of the dispute, 3) responding to the emotion of the adolescent or 4) ignoring the dispute. Although most cases in our sample seem to exhibit a main strategy that fits this categorisation, in 10 cases different strategies are combined. We showed that in these combined responses professional foster parents do not intervene merely for disciplinary reasons, although they do so when things threaten to get out of hand. They also use these occasions as teachable moments.

陕西地市本科高校专业设置的优化有利于地市本科高校与地方经济社会发展的有效对接,实现地市本科高校与地方经济社会发展的＂共赢＂。针对地市本科高校专业设置的特点与存在的问题,应以认识论与政治论相统一的高等教育哲学观、区域经济社会发展需求和地市本科高校自身的功能定位为依据,探索宽口径专业人才培养模式,适量增设与所在区域经济社会产业结构对接的目录外专业,建立专业设置预警与退出机制,加强对专业设置的宏观调控与管理,优化地市本科高校专业设置结构,构建服务型本科专业体系。     

Role of rural camps in nurturing field practicum: narrative from a faculty of social work,Delhi, India

Rural camps are an integral part of practice learning for most schools of social work in India. The paper locates the relevance of rural camps in social work education and unveils its pedagogy and broad learning framework. Based on the experiential account of the author in a rural camp as a teacher educator, the paper situates the role of camps in professional development of social work students and how it enables to bridge the gaps between academic knowledge base and the complex realities of practice. The unique standpoint of the paper is the students’ account of their experiences, challenges faced and its impact on their personal and professional growth.     

Sparsely clustered survival data: application to the evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of medical devices

The effectiveness and safety of implantable medical devices is a critical public health concern. We consider analysis of data in which it is of interest to compare devices but some individuals may be implanted with two or more devices. Our motivating example is based on orthopedic devices, where the same individual can be implanted with as many as two devices for the same joint but on different sides of the body, referred to as bilateral cases. Different methods of analysis are considered in a simulation study and real data example, including both marginal and conditional survival models, fitting single and separate models for bilateral and non-bilateral cases, and combining estimates from these two models. The results of simulations suggest that in the context of orthopedic devices, where implants failures are rare, models fit on both bilateral and non-bilateral cases simultaneously could be quite misleading, and that combined estimates from fitting two separate models performed better under homogeneity. A real data example illustrates the issues surrounding analysis of orthopedic device data with bilateral cases. Our findings suggest that research studies of orthopedic devices should at minimum consider fitting separate models to bilateral and non-bilateral cases.

Lesbians Leaping Out of the Intergenerational Contract:

Changing demographics and economic models in modern industrial countries have led to changes in the nature of the intergenerational contract, repositioning of the family as the site for care, and increasing privatization of welfare, housing and health services for the aged. These shifts have important implications for access to services for lesbians and gays as they age and enter their third age, often in the absence of traditional family support. The needs and desires of some older lesbians in Australia in relation to housing and health care were explored via focus group interviews. The results are discussed in relation to the intergenerational contract, policy shifts and the social organization of aged care in Australia.
