明代意象论研究

意象是中国古典文论所特有的一个文艺理论范畴,通常被用来评诗、论画。意象论的形成经历了漫长的发展过程,经先秦、唐宋之后,到明代才迎来了意象论的真正成熟。明代人在讨论意象时提出了明确的理论观点,认为意象要衡当、意象要含蓄、意象要虚构等。这些理论观点在清代得到了进一步的继承和发展。     

Cartoons and AIDS: Safer Sex,HIV, and AIDS in Ralf König's Comics

Ralf König is the best-selling author of comic book novels, and his stories of gay men coming to terms with contemporary society have resonated with hundreds of thousands of German readers and film-goers. König's characters, like the author himself, have great difficulty adhering to the demand that condoms be used. The article describes how König develops this theme through a variety of works from 1985 through 1999, and analyzes the intertwined relationships among the author, his characters, and the society that is both portrayed in his works and that reads his works.     

近五年赋体文学与小说关系研究述评

赋体文学与小说两种文体在发展过程中相互渗透和影响.近五年来,研究者们对赋体文学的客主问答叙事体、反复敷陈的铺叙手法、“遂客主以首引”的结构方式以及“卒章显志”的讽喻功能及题材等方面与小说之间的联系进行了深入的探讨,尤其探讨了俗赋中存在的叙事要素与小说的关系.同时认为古代小说中赋作的出现,不仅拓展了小说的叙事模式,而且丰富了小说的表现手法.赋与小说关系的研究正在逐渐成为新的学术研究热点,但很大程度上还缺乏理论引导,很多研究者并没有找到适合中国古代叙事文学传统的理论,因此在研究深度上还有欠缺.     

论传统文化在近代中国的命运(英文)

中国传统文化既包含中华民族在几千年社会生活中自然形成的、合理处理人与人之间关系的许多道德原则和行为规范,也包含先人们在分析周围事物时表现出来的高度智慧;同时又有着封建统治者为维护其统治利益而精心培育的思想毒素。在近代中国社会大变革的实践中,经过多次反复,人们对中国传统文化有了比较清醒而全面的认识:既不能肯定一切,也不能否定一切,而要具体分析,做到取其精华,弃其糟粕。传统文化在近代中国不断得以承传与创新,这一进程将不断向前推进。     

张爱玲小说中的“留洋者”探究

张爱玲在她的小说中塑造了一批身份特殊的"留洋者",他们代表了西方现代文明与中国传统文化的决裂,以拯救者的姿态给女性带来了新的生机与希望,但由于多种合力因素的影响,他们同样成为特定时代的牺牲品。张爱玲塑造这批"留洋者"的原因是动荡的社会现实和畸形的家庭环境,她企盼以西方现代文明来批判僵化的中国传统文化,为人类寻求解放的新途径。从这点而言,张爱玲无疑继承了鲁迅批判国民性的"五四"文学精神。     

还珠楼主李寿民先生年表

还珠楼主(1902-1961),本名李寿民,中国武侠小说大宗师。著有武侠小说36部:《蜀山剑侠传》、《青城十九侠》等11部出世仙侠(剑侠)系列小说,述正邪两派剑仙间善恶之争,文笔华美,极富诗情,想象瑰丽,气势磅礴,融儒、道、释三教哲理于一炉,寓意深远;《云海争奇记》、《兵书峡》等25部入世武侠小说,提倡崇善除恶、孝友义侠,表彰人的价值尊严。还珠武侠对郑证因、朱贞木、梁羽生、金庸、古龙等均有启迪之功。     

Blood drones: using utopia as method to imagine future vital mobilities

ABSTRACT

How might we undertake life-saving vital mobilities, like moving blood, in future? Specifically, how might blood transfusion and drone technology – both war dividends – intersect? We explore four scenarios based on eclectic influences including cross-pollination between co-authors, a futures design workshop and exposure to science fiction. The scenarios are ‘ethnographic fragments’ from fictional futures, or conversely, imaginative time travel to possible futures. These are informed by and loosely correlate with established future-building scenario on the theme of carbon constraint: low-carbon society, digital lives, magic bullet technology and resource fights. Through the scenarios – Blood Bikes, HemoIkea, O Magic and Bloody Battles – we experiment with mobilizing utopia and dystopia as method to theorize vital mobilities. This experimental approach raises questions about possible and preferable futures of societal blood circulation and provokes a wider cultural imaginary surrounding blood and drone mobilities specifically, and vital mobilities generally.     

Drone-topia as method

ABSTRACT

The figure of the civilian camera drone remains ambiguous and contested. Its promises and perils shape contemporary imaginaries of future mobilities and visualities. Donny the Drone by Mackenzie Sheppard is one example of a fictional short film that creatively engages with such ambivalent scenarios in the story about a sentient quadcopter. In this article, I explore this techno-futurist narrative in how it serves as a heuristic for a mobile utopia. Themes of mobility and aerial commons, visuality and cosmopolitanism, relationality and affective subjectivity, along with domination and political mobilization emerge from the utopian thought experiment about a camera drone becoming human. Ultimately, I show how the evolving figure of the civilian drone serves as an experimental platform and utopian method towards elevated visions for an imaginative reconstitution of society.     

汉代短书:先秦两汉小说概念的联结点

小说在先秦时期只是一个普通的词语概念,发展至两汉时期则变成了目录学上的分类概念。汉代短书在这一重大的转变过程中起着极为关键的作用。短书本是客观的文字载体,但在汉代儒家文化环境中,它又与尊贵的"长书"相对,具有类似于先秦小说的文化含义,因此,汉代短书能够使先秦小说一词中所蕴含的文化意义与小说的物质载体联结起来。这种联结在经典目录学著作《汉志》小说家类目中得到固定,从而完成中国早期小说概念的重大转变。     

武侠小说表意形式“否定”中的前行及后果——从格雷马斯符号方阵看武侠小说的文体演进

武侠小说的文体演进,以“江湖”符号表意的“否定”前行为内驱力,呈现出格雷马斯符号方阵式的全否定格局。从“剑仙”江湖、“英雄”江湖、“人”的江湖到亦正亦邪的侠客江湖,20世纪武侠小说“江湖”表意方式依次否定与渐趋圆熟。但在此后,武侠“江湖”作为幻想性表意符号已彻底跌落“现实”,这与武侠小说在20世纪中国的首要任务——以“前现代”的情景幻象否定在现实中无力参与的现代化大潮——明显相悖。武侠必须在“江湖”新的符号表意形式的生成中,完成其“幻想性”的重塑。
