不同性别视角观照下的"恶之花"--三仙姑、曹七巧、司猗纹形象的一种解读

三仙姑、曹七巧、司猗纹虽从人性异化角度同属"恶母"形象,但在分属两性的作家不同视角观照下,三个"恶母"表象酷似,所蕴含的历史的、文化的、人性的意义却有其质的不同,传达出作者不同的艺术观念和性别意识.     

论董以宁及其《蓉渡词》——兼谈艳体词风在清初的流变

董以宁是清代文学史程上一位名气不大但人生形态、文学形态均颇特殊的人物。在其各体裁的文学创作中 ,结为《蓉渡》一集的词创作最为擅场 ,其中大量的“艳体词”作品又尤为学界所争议。然详究其实 ,董氏除在“艳词”创作多发越处、为前贤所不及之外 ,其以《满江红·乙巳述哀》十二首为代表的“悼母词”更为词史补填了空白 ,系“不可无一 ,不能有二”之佳篇什 ,而董氏之词史地位亦可由此二者结合而认知。     

Preconception Motivation and Pregnancy Wantedness: Pathways to Toddler Attachment Security

This research was designed to increase our understanding of how the motivational antecedents to childbearing and emotional responses to pregnancy affect the subsequent attachment bond of a toddler to his or her mother. Using a sample of 1,364 mothers and their newborns from the Study of Early Child Care, we tested a mother‐child influence framework hypothesized to mediate between the mother's preconception motivation and pregnancy wantedness and her child's security of attachment at 24 months. Almost all elements of the mediational sequence were confirmed in a structural equation model. We observed 2 unmediated pathways to attachment security, 1 from preconception motivation and 1 from parenting stress during infancy, and suggest interpretations of these unexpected pathways.

大学外语教学中母语的作用

"直接法"、"交际法"等教学法有助于解决在中国学生中广泛存在的"哑巴"英语问题,但也产生了一些弊端,在外语教学中适当利用母语有助于克服这些问题,对外语教学能够起到积极的促进作用。首先,把母语和外语进行对比,使学生对外语的理解更透彻,更深刻。其次,学生的外语基础良莠不齐,在大学的外语教学中适当的使用母语可以起到兼顾较差学生的作用。第三,外语教学中,教师在讲解抽象的语法概念或词义时,适当利用母语可起到事半功倍的效果。另外,对于大学生来讲,翻译能力也是英语学习中很重要的一个方面。在教学中适当使用母语,能够提高学生在外语和母语之间转换的能力,从而提高他们的翻译能力。     

“贤妻良母主义”与女子师范教育——1907-1916年女子师范教育课程设置研究

清末民初,＂贤妻良母主义＂作为政府对待女性问题的指导思想,深刻影响着女子师范教育。从课程设置上看,清末的女子师范学堂集中体现了培养＂贤妻良母＂的目标,辛亥革命后的课程改革则兼具进步与保守成分,特别是袁世凯执政时期,由于社会需求的增加和观念的落后,传统女性观出现了强势反弹,致使民国初年的女子师范教育仍旧停留在传统框架中。     

Incarcerated Mothers: Trauma and Attachment Issues

ABSTRACT

Although men comprise the largest portion of the prison population in the United States, the number of women in prison has increased more than 800% during the past three decades. More than 60% of these women are mothers of children under 18 years of age. There continues to be a gap in our knowledge base regarding mothers who are incarcerated. In this study, unresolved issues of trauma and attachment are explored for 28 incarcerated mothers involved with the child welfare system. Data were collected using the Trauma Attachment and Belief Scale (TABS) and the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI). Findings from the TABS revealed scores of average and high average in beliefs related to five need areas that are sensitive to the effects of traumatic experiences, namely self-safety, self-trust, self-esteem, self-intimacy, and self-control. Most participants were classified as disorganized/disoriented based on their narrative responses to questions from the AAI protocol. Implications for the results are discussed.     

Absent presence: the ongoing impact of men's violence on the mother–child relationship

This paper draws from interviews with 45 mothers and 52 children who participated in an action research project to develop activities to support women and children in the aftermath of domestic violence. A thematic analysis was used to analyse the data and explore the question: In what ways does the perpetrator of abuse remain present in the lives of women and children following separation? The paper invites workers to recognize the distortions created by domestic violence that may need to be identified and addressed in the aftermath of violence. The ways in which past trauma, erosion of self‐esteem and the undermining of the mother–child relationship continues to create a shadow across the present relationship are identified. The continued presence of the perpetrator of abuse through child contact arrangements and ongoing harassment is also highlighted. The ‘absent presence’ of the abusive partner is posited as a concept to assist workers with a framework through which to understand problems in the mother–child relationship which emerge when living with and separating from a violent partner. The paper has implications for social workers orientating practice to focus on perpetrator accountability and support strengthening the mother–child relationship.     

“Welfare Mother” Activism,Mainstream Feminism,and the Cunning of History in Ontario’s 1970s Welfare Debate

ABSTRACT

This article examines the voice of mobilized welfare mothers and the mainstream women’s movement in the welfare debate of the 1970s in Ontario. A question debated was whether welfare mothers had a right to “stay home” while receiving welfare. The article shows that a radical strain of welfare mother activists at this time demanded recognition of women’s unpaid work. While mainstream women’s groups were generally sympathetic to welfare mothers, their overriding focus on employability as the solution to their poverty served to derail the radical possibilities of welfare mother politics and solidify a policy agenda that undermined the deserving status of welfare mothers.     

母语文化与大学生二语写作中的错误相互关系分析及对策

以高校非英语专业学生的英语作文中频繁出现的错误为对象,分析、探讨这些写作问题类型及产生原因,指出中国大学生英语习作中出现的错误大部分是由母语文化、汉语语言习惯的干扰造成的,即母语策略对二语习得,尤其是二语写作产生的负迁移不容忽视。由此认为大学英语写作教学应加强目的语文化意识和思维方式的培养,减少汉语语言习惯对二语写作的干扰。
