英汉语言中数字模糊用法的文化因素分析

与一般的模糊语言用法相比,数字的模糊用法颇为微妙,更为复杂,需要从文化范畴,从语用角度来分析,理解,解释。本文从以下三个方面进行探讨:一、由于历史沿袭,某些数字被赋予了特定的、或是吉祥的、或是禁忌的意义,可以追溯到原始的自然崇拜或者宗教信仰;二、数字含义由具体意义演变为泛指意义,已经失去精确地数量含义;三、文学作品中倏格用以达到修辞效果。分析了数字模糊用法的文化因素,追溯其沿袭过程,并分析其具体用法和效果,以达到正确地理解和翻译目的。     

巴黎文化产业的现状、特征与发展空间

“文化产业”作为当前经济活动的一个重要概念，在城市经济活动中发挥着越来越重要的影响。巴黎作为法国的历史、文化、经济中心，其“文化产业”从20世纪70年代以来随着城市经济的转型呈现蓬勃发展的势头。进入21世纪，巴黎“文化产业”的领域与空间也在不断变化与扩展。本文将试图对巴黎“文化产业”的发展作一梳理，以期对其“文化产业”的发展面貌作一阐释。     

殖民主义身份的模仿与颠覆——论王尔德的《道连·格雷的画像》

在殖民主义框架下,民族身份的构建既来源于殖民者对被压迫民族的文化入侵和压迫,也源于被压迫民族对殖民文化的认同和反抗.因此,模仿和颠覆常常是殖民地国家政治斗争的主题.爱尔兰著名作家王尔德的代表作<道连·格雷的画像>通过对道连·格雷一生的记述来还原历史的真实,揭示了英格兰-爱尔兰特权阶级被颠覆的本源.作为该阶级的一员,通过道连的死,王尔德宣告这个特殊阶级将随着英国殖民主义的结束而最终消亡.     

城市道路绿地景观的文化底蕴

现代条件下人们对城市道路绿地景观提出了更高的观赏要求 ,期望更多高质量、高品味、高档次的绿地空间。笔者认为道路绿地景观的文化底蕴可以通过植物造景、环境小品、街头绿地等多种形式和手段体现出来 ,且应因地制宜 ,灵活变通 ,努力提高道路景观的文化品味     

Web-Enhanced Preservice Training for Prospective Resource Parents: A Randomized Trial of Effectiveness and User Satisfaction

ABSTRACT

Traditionally, prospective resource parents must attend all preservice training in person. Although live sessions are necessary for screening applicants, instructional portions of training could be enhanced by Web-based sessions. This pilot study compares the effectiveness of online and classroom versions of one session from a widely used preservice training program. Ninety-two individuals enrolled in the program in two states were randomly assigned to a treatment group that viewed an online version of the class on child abuse and neglect or to a comparison group that took the same class in person. Written questionnaires were completed before and after the class. Significant group differences on knowledge of child maltreatment and empathy toward birth parents plus high user satisfaction were hypothesized. Analysis of covariance results showed the online training was more effective than the live training at increasing knowledge. Multivariate analysis of covariance findings on empathy were not significant but trended toward greater empathy for the online group. Feedback indicated high satisfaction with the online course. The finding that online instruction is more effective than live instruction has positive implications for practice, because Web-based training offers advantages like standardizing instruction, cutting agency and trainee costs, and providing greater flexibility.

对国际技术史权威期刊<技术与文化>最近十多年来有关技术创新史的论文进行了综合考察,参照文学理论和史学研究的新进展,从整体上对这些研究的方法论进路作了"文化研究"的理论概括与定位,从而尝试性地思考了国外技术史家在技术创新史研究中是如何引入建构论作为技术史的解释范式,并通过改进该范式,从而推动技术史走向对技术创新的"文化研究"路径的.思考了该解释范式有待进一步解决的问题,对技术创新史的进一步研究进行了展望.

Ageing Society Issues in Korea*

Korean society is facing unprecedentedly higher population ageing, particularly in the first half of the 21st century. The implications of population ageing have a much wider effect than the welfare of the elderly. From a broader and long‐term perspective, understanding population ageing may require a new paradigm. Korea has attempted to model its policies for ageing society on those of advanced welfare states, but as these no longer seem viable, Korean policy‐makers are searching for more effective and efficient measures to deal with its rapid ageing population. Reflecting a broader and long‐term perspective, the Korean government recently produced a comprehensive national policy plan to deal with the consequences of rapid population ageing. This article outlines the phenomenon of population ageing in Korea and the recent development of national policies for population ageing, describing the Korean comprehensive national policy plan for responding to it and examining major issues and problems related to developing and implementing the plan. This article finally suggests a new, age‐integrated social system approach to an ageing society.
